Sometimes I also take part in some social activities. For instance, last weekend I attended an interesting play. As it was my first performance, I felt a little nervous at the beginning. But when I appeared on the stage, I made every audience laugh happily. I was so proud of myself at that moment, because this was my first achievement.

下课后，我经常去英语角。在那里我可以通过与外国人或我的同学聊天来练习我的英语口语。现在我可以很好的和外国人交流了。有时候我也可以参加一些社交活动。例如，上周我参加了一个有趣的表演。因为是我第一次表演，所以一开始的时候我觉得有点紧张。但当我出现在舞台上时，我让每一个观众都开心的笑了。在那一刻，我为我自己感到骄傲，因为这是我的第一个收获。

在班上我交了不少好朋友，我与我的同学的关系都不错，我们有福同受，有难同当，有苦有乐，真是有趣极了，老师对我们也不错，我爱我的学校，我爱我的班级，我在这么多学科当中，英语是我一直以来最感兴趣的一门学科，小学的时候我的英语成绩是很好的，但是现在还是一般般吧!我爱写童话书，因为童话书往往给我带来了不少乐趣，特别是公主的童话和小动物之间的 童话，这是我最喜爱的童话了!

在新中国成立的60年来，祖国发生了翻天覆地的变化，如今我们的祖国又踏上了新的征程。物质文化生活极大丰富，人们的衣食住行得到了极大的改善，不再是以前那样贫穷落后、不再是东亚病夫。现在人们的住房不在是以前那矮矮的平房，而是住进了一幢撞宽敞明亮的高楼大厦，人们出行不在做马车、人力车，而是一张张豪华的轿车，在平敞的道路上川流不息。城市里建起了如同彩虹般的立交桥。科学技术的迅速发展，人们科技水平的提高，计算机成了人们最普通的工作设备；航天技术的发展，航天火箭也飞到了既遥远、有神秘的宇宙，宇航员太空行走正展示祖国航天技术的进步。

近几年来，祖国在体育方面也取得了让世人触目的成绩。曾经被称为东亚病夫连参加奥运会的运动员都没有的落后体育弱国，到取得二00八年奥运会举办权和成功举办了世界一流的奥运会，这是多么了不起的变化呀。在二00八年奥运会中，中国体育代表队获得的金牌总数最多，这是令世人震撼的事，同时让世界看到了中国大国的精采，这一切成就的取得，是伟大祖国腾飞的一幅精彩画卷，我为我的祖国骄傲。特别是鸟巢建成，二00八年奥运会又在壮观的鸟巢内举行，展示了我国建筑业在世界的领先地位。

就在这几年，神舟载人飞船发射成功，首位女航天员：刘洋，飞上了宇宙，成为了中国的嫦娥，蛟龙号潜入海底7020米突破了世界纪录！一次次新的突破，一次次新的改变，让世人们一睹中国的风采，对中国刮目相看！

我国在5000多年的悠久历史中，涌现出了许许多多的英雄，如：助人为乐的雷锋；不顾性命的黄继光；宁死不屈的江姐；为中华人民的幸福而不顾自己性命的狼牙山五壮士。

陈独秀曾说过：爱国心要为立国之素要。是啊，每个人一定要先热爱自己的祖国，才能干出一番大事业，如果不热爱祖国那谈何事业、谈何学习。

不要期望脚下处处阳关道；不要幻想头顶一片艳阳天；不迷恋父兄给予的蜜罐温床；不忘记最危险的时候战歌飞旋！

听，芦笙和唢呐一起吹响，看，乳燕和雏鹰比翼联翩。五十六朵鲜花竞相开放，装点祖国万里大花园。让先辈的英灵自豪的惊叹：啊！这就是我的中华！这就是中华的少年！

祖国我以你为荣，你是我的骄傲，无论我长大之后，身在何方，我都是您的儿女，龙的传人，炎黄子孙！
