As we walked around, I saw a panther crouching by a hill in its enclosure.

All of a sudden, the panther leaped over the wall and jumped on the back of an old lady who was eating a hamburger.

The old lady let out a high pitched scream and fell down from her seat, sprawling on the cement pavement and passed out.

The panther did not attack the old lady, but picked the hamburger dropped by the lady.

After swallowing the hamburger, the panther started walking around the cafeteria with many visitors looking at it.

One kid saw the animal outside, and called excitedly, “Mommy! Look! I want to pat the Panther!” The kid ran to the animal.

今天，我和爸爸一起来到了我盼望已久的老界岭滑雪场。

一大早我们就出发了。“到了！”听见有人喊，我赶紧向前望去，看见一座又高又大的山，在阳光的照耀下格外刺眼。滑雪场特别大，地上、山坡上到处覆盖着厚厚的雪，白茫茫的一片一眼望不到边。雪山上有几个黑色的小点点在动，像是可爱的小蚂蚁在雪地上爬，走近一看，原来已经有人在滑雪了。呵，真有趣！

我穿好滑雪鞋，拿好雪杖，迫不及待地向雪地走去。刚进入滑雪场就听见别人摔跤时的大叫喊声，我有点害怕了。我从山顶上往下看，哇，那么陡的坡度好恐怖呀！爸爸叫我不要怕，勇敢地滑，可是，我的滑雪板却交叉到了一起，结果我就摔了屁股墩儿。终于滑雪板不交叉了，这一次，我直接向山下冲，耳边风声呼呼作响，旁边的人飞速闪过，眼看就要撞上一位叔叔了，天啊，那可不是爸爸啊，“扑通”我摔倒了，屁股痛地简直要人命。但是我不灰心，在爸爸的帮助下重新站了起来。这次，我大腿夹紧，身体向前稍微弯曲，就这样练了三四次，终于能够熟练的滑雪了。后来，我和爸爸比赛看谁滑得最快，爸爸每一次都输呢！

一、掌握日记的正确格式

英语日记与汉语日记的结构相似，主要由两部分组成，即书端和正文。

1.书端（Heading） 英语日记的书端，是专门记载日期、星期和天气的，这一点与汉语日记相同，但在排列上有所不同。英语日记的书端在正文上边的左边（顶格），从左向右推进。

1）英语日期的写法有两种：

（1）先写某日，次写月份，最后写年份。某日用序数词的缩写形式；除May ， June和July三个月份外，其余各月份均可缩写；年份均用阿拉伯数字书写，但不能把“1991”缩写成“91”等。例如：

15th August 1989

（2）先写月份，次写某日，最后写年份。用这种写法比较普遍。某日用基数词，也可用序数词的缩写形式，但后边须加逗号。例如：

August 15，1989

August 15th，1989

如果在英语日记的书端里要写星期的话，可将其写在日期的前面或后面。例如：

Saturday，October 22nd，1983

October 22nd ，1983，Saturday

2）天气情况

如果书端里还要记载那天的天气，只需用少数的词，如“Fin e”“Cloud y”等形容词表示。天气写在日期之后，须用逗号隔开。如果第一行内写不完，也可以移到第二行去写，但第一行内前边要空格，不可与第二行平头。例如：

Saturday，March 4，1988，Fine but windy in the afternoon 常见的天气用语有：

fine 晴天的 rainy 下雨的 cloudy 阴天的，多云的

2．正文（Body） 日记是每日生活的记载。生活的内容广泛，但写作时应有所选择，最好是记下当天有意义，感受最深的东西、不可巨细不分地记流水帐。 记日记的手法灵活，形式多样，它常用叙述的方法，可议论、也可抒情和描写；有话则长，无话则短，甚至于三言两语亦可。

值得一提的是日记的时态选择，由于日记记载的事情通常已经发生，因此谓语动词一般用过去时态。然而，根据实际情况，也可用其他时态。例如：

注意：表示习惯性的动作，客观事实、普遍真理、名言或谚语时，常用一般现在时。

Today, I still went to my mother’s office. My mother was very busy, so was my father. They always live in Beijing. They must get up early. Because they will manage the factory. 我刚走到楼门口，就被一阵响炮声给一个激灵吓了回去，不怕大家笑话，说是去放炮，我实际上是看别人放炮。过了一会儿，妈妈也下楼了，而爸爸这时又恰好刚刚点燃了一串大响炮，你说咋就这么巧？妈妈刚把一只脚踏出楼门口，这鞭炮就“劈里啪啦”的响了起来了，吓得我妈像一阵风似的，一溜烟地蹿了，转眼间跑到了二楼，而且还捂着耳朵怪叫着。那速度绝对能赶上刘翔了，这会儿让我妈去参加奥运会，说不定能拿冠军呢。哈哈！原来妈妈也害怕这震耳欲聋的炮声呀！爸爸这时都笑得直不起腰来了。该放花炮了，爸爸点燃了几只“小蝴蝶”，“小蝴蝶”点燃后，便屁股后面冒着火花到处乱窜，有一个不听话的小家伙居然直往爸爸的怀里跑，爸爸左躲右闪，“小蝴蝶”却追着爸爸跑，这下该轮着爸爸练百米冲刺了，“忽”的一下，爸爸就钻进了楼道里。这时我和妈妈正躲在楼道里偷偷地看呢！爸爸望着我们打趣地说：“这只小蝴蝶怎么这么喜欢我呀！”
