我爱家乡，它是一片育人的沃土，又是一片育人的净土;在我心里它有着许多名胜古迹所不及的独特之处。

I love my hometown, it is a fertile ground for educating people, educating people is a piece of pure land; it has many places of historic interest and scenic beauty as unique in my heart.

My winter vacation

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 oclock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 oclock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.

But I havent bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed, because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends during the vacation, we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether. And I watched the spring festival party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 2004 year! I think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.

For every kid, they like to play computer games, but the teachers and parents are annoyed it, because the children are easy to be addicted to the games and forget to study. So the actions must be taken to reduce the times. Parents must let them know that after they finish homework they can play, or educate the disadvantages of computer games.

愉快的寒假就要开始了，你们要和老师暂时分离一个月的时间，这也是你们上学后的第一次长假，老师想通过这封信给你们几点提醒：

首先，我要提醒你们的是安全。寒假里，我们要过我们中国人最隆重的传统节日——春节，也是你们小朋友最高兴的节日。过春节，放鞭炮、放烟花是很多孩子喜欢的事情，可是你们要警惕：这是一项很危险的游戏，每年过节都有因为放鞭炮而受伤的儿童，你们如果想玩，必须在父母的陪同下才可进行。

还有，你们放假期间，爸爸妈妈可能还要上班，你们有时可能要单独在家。这是锻炼你们的机会，也是你们成长的经历，但一定要注意，不能给陌生人开门，不要动家里的开关、气阀，因为这样做很危险!千万要记住!

其次，我要提醒你们的是健康。过春节，你们要合理饮食，不能暴饮暴食，注意多吃蔬菜，多喝开水，少喝饮料，那些零食，膨化食品尽量少吃，因为它们对你们的身体发育不利。假期里，你们要坚持做一些体育锻炼，比如跳绳、踢毽子等，这样可以增强你们的体质，让自己变得更健壮!

第三，我要提醒你们的是礼貌。春节期间，你们要和爸爸妈妈一起走亲访友，你们要注意礼节，注意使用礼貌用语，比如见到叔叔阿姨要问好，走的时候要说“再见”，还有，家里来了客人要学会招待等。因为你们已经是小学生了，很快就要成为“少先队员”了，相信你们会做得很好!

第四，我要提醒你们的是理财。过春节，很多长辈都要给你们发“压岁钱”，你们会一下子变得“很有钱”。如何合理的使用自己的“这笔资金”呢?老师给你们个建议，你们现在还小，可以把压岁钱交给你们的爸爸妈妈保管，当然，你们也可以自己保管，但有一点是，不能拿着这些钱去随意乱花，需要什么一定要和爸爸妈妈商量，防止上当受骗!

最后，我要提醒你们的是学习。春节，我们要放一个月的假，你们在休息、娱乐的同时不要忘了学习。假期里，老师要求你们坚持阅读，你们要做到。因为通过阅读，不仅可以增加你们的识字量，让你们尽快摆脱拼音“拐杖”，提高阅读速度，还可以拓宽你们的视野，让你们变得更有智慧。

假期里老师要你们写博客，你们要坚持，写自己身边发生的事和阅读的书。我们不仅仅是为了“书香班级”“书香家庭”，因为通过写博客，可以让你们学会观察生活，提高语言表达能力，和父母一起写博，可以增进亲子间的交流，使家庭形成良好的书香氛围。假期里，老师还要求你们练字，因为字如其人，老师希望通过假期里的练习，你们的笔画能更规范，字形能更美观。
