So my friend has asked me to write to you... I have to confess its been

after having their moment of belief in you are wasting everyones precious time.

Because you are not for them. You are for the children. Children who need some

magic in a world where the borders between innocence and responsibility, playful

imagination and cold, adult obstacles are continually shrinking.

This is what Id like to ask you to help with. A little more time for

children to be children. Stretch the moment of magic and playfulness. Distract

them from the realities of a world gone mad so that they can laugh with their

breath rather than sob with their tears. Especially those caring for family

members, or suffering illness, hunger or poverty. Especially those hiding in

buildings as bombs rain down, or being handed shaking with fear or cold into a

boat to escape environmental disaster or war. Please help to light up their

worlds with a moment of joy and hope.

When I think about it youve got it tough this year... And when I really

think about it Im not sure that asking you for a lightsaber and getting one

(not that I ever did by the way) is equatable with controlling the space time

continuum and making the good of childhood last a little longer.

But you do inspire wonder and awe amongst those that write you letters and

go to sleep hoping there might be a new object in their possession come dawn.

You inspire good behaviour and, at least in my memory, some desperate last

minute attempts to redeem bad behaviour so as not to be overlooked. Spare a

thought too for those millions who want to write to you but through illiteracy

cant. Hear their words and help to give them the time and chance to learn how

to read and write so they can better their lives and escape their impoverished

beginnings.

I feel a little sorry for you. And I guess Ive done exactly what I said I

wouldnt... Asked you to help with adult problems and solve some of the greatest

worries we have for our children. I promise to leave some extra port and mince

pies for you!

I have never been to Shenzhen before. Many times, I dream of visiting Shenzhen because Shenzhen is a very modern,busy and beautiful city. and today, my dream has come true.

I am walking around the city center of Shenzhen and there are so many tall buildings on the sides of the streets. the streets are very big,straight and clean.I can see the buses,taxis,trains and cars on the road. people can choose their favourite way to go to work or travel. because there are a lot of department stores and supermarkets in Shenzhen,people can go shopping any where they wanted.

At night,Shenzhen becomes even more beatiful and colourful with all kinds of light. by walking on the street, you cant really tell where it is. it may be HongKong,Shanghai.

There are many scenery spots in Shenzhen.such as Folk Culture Village, Happy Valley, window of the world. but my favourite place is the window of the world.because i neednt go abroad but i can see the most of famous places in the world.

Shenzhen is an amazing city and i enjoy my visiting there so much.

A Trip to Beijing

My American friend Tom and I went to Beijing by plane last summer.

On the first day，we visited the Palace Museum and Tiananmen Square. The next day，we climbed the Great Wall. We took lots of photos. Although we felt tired，it was a fantastic experience. The third day we relaxed. Then we had the Beijing roast duck for lunch. I think it is the most delicious food in the world. Tom is interested in Chinese culture，so we drank tea and saw Beijing Opera in Lao She Teahouse in the evening. Finally，we did some shopping and flew back to Guilin.

The trip to Beijing was short，but it was wonderful. Tom said that he would never forget it.

From a middle class family， I was born in Hsin Ying， Tainan on October 10 th， 1965. My father is a civil official at Tainan City Government. My mother is a house wife good at cooking. Although I am the only child of my parents， I am by no mans a spoiled one. On the contrary， I have been expected to be a successful man with advanced education. I study hard at school. The goal of my life is living a simple happy and healthy life.

What I want is a simple life not a complicated one.Because what my job or career offers me are difficult issues which I must handle them properly, and sometimes they are so boring and tedious,but I have to do.So after a days work, I want to have a break and do some things which would provide me happiness and a harmonious life. Mukden Palace is one of Chinas two remaining palace buildings, Mukden Palace covers an area of more than 60 thousand square

meters, there are 114 ancient buildings, more than and 500, has been well preserved, is a contains rich historical and cultural connotation of the ancient ruins.

According to construction layout and construction time , it was divided into three parts East , Middle  and West . In West , there are theater, JiaYinTang, WenSuGe and YangXiZhai, they were built in 1782, the emperor often read and watch plays on there , these houses are also used to store The Si Ku Quan Shu. In middle ,there are DaQingMen, Chongzheng house, Phoenix building, Qingning house built in 1627 to 1635, they are the places where the emperor deal with government events, hold a banquet and imperial concubines live in. In east, Grand Hall and Ten King Pavilion were built by Nurhachi in 1625. They are the places where the emperor held a ceremony and the BaQi ministers office.
