在我的家乡，有一位与我的父亲同龄人。他就是全国闻名的身残志坚的农村科技铁人姜德明。他立足农田，孜孜不倦地研究着小麦、棉花如何在家乡的土地上能够有更高的总产量。当他的研究取得了初步成果时，癌症又一次地向他袭来。他没有倒下，拄着拐杖依然风里雨里地留在田头，走访在农户家中。不懈的努力，他培育出的优良品种得到了推广，种植技术得到了普及，粮食总产量大幅度提高，农民的双手欢迎这样的农技员。把他誉为“农技铁人”。他是我们老区青年的好榜样。去年，他在我市青年成人宣誓仪式上谆谆告诫我们，为老区经济的腾飞，要努力学习，掌握科学文化知识，立足本职，捧着一颗心来，不带半根草去!我们记住了这位铁人的话，我们意识到了自己的责任，我们盐阜老区的青年们都会努力的。

是的，责任放在我们每个青年的肩上，放眼新世纪，振兴中华，建设家乡，我们是不会退缩的。

星期五，是我们四年级和三年级的英语节表演。

早上八点，同学们都准时来到了流花校区的科技大楼广场，我见到所有的同学都穿得漂漂亮亮，而且都化了妆，好漂亮啊！大家排好队，老师就带我们上楼了。 到我们班表演了，我们班唱的是《冰雪奇缘》主题曲。我们排着整齐的队伍走上了舞台，同学们用响亮 的声音唱着动听歌曲。我们表演完以后，在台下家长们的掌声中慢慢地退下了舞台。

之后，我们就来到了后台坐在那儿看书，见别人班的表演，我觉得很可惜。

回到家我听妈妈说才知道，这次表演最好的是：九班和十班还有一班和二班。我想这次不是最好的没关系，正所谓“尺有所短，寸有所长”，每个人都有自己的别人的优点。我也为得奖同学感到骄傲！听说所有英语老师还一起表演了 法语歌曲，我一直觉得他们只会唱英语歌，今天见到老也暗自下决心一定要学好英语。期待下次的英语节我们班也能得 希望下次我们能亲眼看别人班的表演。 这次的英语节真的非常有意义！

我们的学校叫环山小学，是一所有一百多年历史的小学。

一起进校门，映入眼帘的是白色大理石砌成的三座高大石碑，上面有孔子、爱因斯坦、达芬奇。往前走几步就看见用玻璃砌成的玻璃台，玻璃台上有爱因斯坦和孔子不有老子的雕像，激励着我们更加努力地学习。

沿着校园的小道往前走，就会看到走廊上有一排紫滕花架，下面是一排用大理石砌成的长凳，上面是拱形的不锈钢架。春天，紫藤抽出新的枝条，长出了嫩绿的叶子。夏天，紫藤枝叶长得最茂盛，密密层层的枝叶挡着夏天火辣辣的太阳，同学们在她的怀里看书，玩耍。到了秋天，深绿色的叶子下就会长出像扁豆一样的果实。不仔细找还找不到它呢。冬天，才有一些叶子慢慢变黄，紫藤弯弯曲曲地缠绕在架子上。

紫藤花架的后面有一片石林，巨型的石柱像一把把锋利的宝剑一样直入云霄，它们大小不一，形态万千。

今天下午，阳光明媚，是我们四年级风筝比赛的时候。

首先，我们排着长长的队伍来到了学校对面的一块平地上。我们准备已久的风筝比赛终于要开始了。我先拿出风筝线，然后，我把自己最喜欢的“彩云”拿了出来，先我不一切准备做好，然后，我再拿着风筝线向远出跑去，只见“彩云”慢慢地飞上了蓝蓝的天空。在空中；我觉得我的“彩云”最漂亮了，那七彩的颜色，多鲜艳啊！红的，蓝的，黄的，绿的……我的“彩云”不但漂亮，而且飞的得高，我不得不发出一个字：“棒”，我每一次都放得很高，但这里有很多人在放，很容易把线绞在一起，我的“彩云”都被绞了三次了，最后一次，这一次往往放得非常成功，“真是工夫不负有心人”啊！

在这次比赛中我虽然没获奖但很高兴，因为我明白了一个道理：一个人只要努力向前，什么事情都能做好。
