When I was struggled about the different opinions, I saw the news report about a
man got back his money that he saved in the early 1990s, which was about 1000
RMB. People made their comment that this amount of money meant so much at that
time, which could buy a nice big house, while today it was just a big meal in
the restaurant. This news inspired me to make reasonable plan of money. The old
way to treat money is not suitable, because money will lose its value as time
goes by. I choose to spend part of money while saving another part of it.

Two weeks later, the names of the team runners were called. Joey was number six on the list. Joey had made the team. He was in seventh grade — the other six team members were all eighth—graders. We never told him he shouldnt expect to make the team. We never told him he couldnt do it. We never told him he couldnt do it...so he didnt know. He just did it.

倒(dào)春寒(英文late spring coldness)，是指初春(一般指3月)气温回升较快，而在春季后期(一般指4月或5月)气温较正常年份偏低的天气现象。气象学中，受较强冷空气频繁袭击后，气温下降较快，并持续时间长达1—2个星期以上的前暖后冷才称作“倒春寒”。“倒春寒”天气中可能产生农作物冻害，并可能引发流感、气管炎等疾病。

在一年四季中，气温、气流、气压等气象要素变化最无常的季节就是春季。经常是白天阳光和煦，让人有一种"暖风熏得游人醉"的感觉，早晚却寒气袭人，让人倍觉"春寒料峭"。这种使人难以适应的"善变"天气，就是通常所说的"倒春寒"。据历史资料显示:北京30年出现"倒春寒"的几率在57%左右。特别是早春时节，这种气候特点表现得尤为明显。例如:3月8日南郊观象台的最高气温已达到15.2℃，而最低气温只有3.3℃，早晚温差还比较大。
在春季天气回暖过程中，常因冷空气的侵入，使气温明显降低，对作物造成危害，这种"前春暖，后春寒"的天气称为倒春寒。倒春寒是南方早稻播种育秧期的主要灾害性天气，是造成早稻烂种烂秧的主要原因。常年2-4月，江南地区先后进入早稻播种育秧大忙季节。在此期间冷暖空气相互交绥，当北方冷空气南侵到江南和华南时冷暖空气势均力敌常常造成低温连阴雨天气，当日平均气温在12°C或以下，连阴雨3一5天;或在短时间内气温急剧下降，且日最低气温降到5°C以下，均可造成早稻烂秧和死苗。这样不仅损失大量种子，而且因补种延误播种季节，使早稻成熟期延迟，影响晚稻栽插，使晚稻抽穗扬花期易受低温危害。近30多年中，以1951、1969、1970、1976年的天气气候条件最差，造成严重烂秧，一般烂秧率超过30%，有的达50%。如1970年仅广西地区烂种就达1亿斤以上;1976年，仅湖南、江西、湖北三省就损失谷种达7亿斤。此外，对已播棉花、花生等喜温作物也常常造成烂种死苗;并影响油菜的开花受粉，及角果发育不正常，降低产量;有时影响小麦孕穗，造成大面积不孕或籽实质量低劣。

对人体健康的危害
心脑血管病发病增加老年人热平衡的能力较差，其循环系统很容易受到倒春寒的刺激。交感神经受寒冷刺激后，兴奋度增高，全身皮肤表层毛细血管收缩，使血流阻力增大，导致血压升高。另外，天气突变会引起地球磁场的改变，诱发人体植物神经功能紊乱。由于老年人及心脑血管病患者不能适应这种变化，可能发生血压突然升高、脑梗塞、脑出血或心肌梗死。国外一项试验表明，让一组63~70岁的老人在室温为6℃的人工气候室里静坐看电视或看书，两小时后，老年人血压普遍升高了25毫米汞柱左右。而在同样条件下，青年人血压的变化很小。这说明低温容易使老年人的血管收缩。
