三伏天是出现在小暑与立秋之间，是一年中气温最高且又潮湿、闷热的日子。伏即为潜伏的意思。“三伏天”的“伏”就是指“伏邪”。即所谓的“六邪”(指“风、寒、暑、湿、燥、火”)中的暑邪。所谓的“伏天”，就是指农历“三伏天”，即一年当中最热的一段时间。

三伏天出现在小暑和立秋之中，是一年中气温最高且又潮湿、闷热的日子。所谓的“伏天儿”，就是指农历“三伏天”，即一年当中最热的一段时间。 可以这样理解：“伏”就是天气太热了，宜伏不宜动。但是三伏天之所以称之为“伏”，是因为也有不少寒冷因素在内。三伏是中原地区在一年中最热的三、四十天，三伏是按农历计算的，大约处在阳历的7月中下旬至8月上旬间。

每年入伏的时间不固定，中伏的长短也不相同，需要查历书计算，简单地可以用“夏至三庚”这4字口诀来表示入伏的日期，即从夏至后第3个“庚”日算起，初伏为10天，中伏为10天或20天，末伏为10天。我国古代流行“干支纪日法”，用10个天干与12个地支相配而成的60组不同的名称来记日子，循环使用。每逢有庚字的日子叫庚日。庚日的“庚”字是“ 甲、乙、丙、丁、戊、己、庚、辛、壬、癸”10个天干中的第7个字，庚日每10天重复一次。从夏至开始，依照干支纪日的排列，第3个庚日为初伏，第4个庚日为中伏，立秋后第1个庚日为末伏。当夏至与立秋之间出现4个庚日时中伏为10天，出现5个庚日则为20天。看来，庚日出现的早晚将影响中伏的长短，所以，出现了有些年份伏天30天，有些年份伏天40天的情况。

中医认为“夏季暑湿，适宜清补”三伏天饮食。夏天酷热高温，人们喜冷饮，喝水多，导致湿气侵入人体，而外湿入内，使水湿固脾，引起脾胃升降，令人的消化功能产生障碍，出现积水为患，引起食欲不振等。暑湿对脾非常不利，而味苦的食物具有泻燥的功能，不宜多食，因此日常饮食中应适当多食甘凉或甘寒为宜。且夏季归心，而心喜凉，宜食酸，所以夏季应适当地多吃一些酸性的食物。

比如可常吃些小麦制品、李子、桃子、橄榄、菠萝、芹菜等。中医注重天人合一，阴阳互补，因此，在夏季人们要多吃酸甘的食物外，尽量不吃辛辣温燥食物。还要避免生食冷饮过度导致伤及人体内的正气而诱发疾病。在烹调方面，凉拌、清炒是夏季最佳吃法，能最大程度地保持蔬菜的营养;再辅以适量的醋、酱、葱、姜、蒜和芥末，可促进食欲和消化外，还抑菌、降脂、调血压。

西瓜、苦瓜、冬瓜、黄瓜、丝瓜、番茄等瓜茄类果蔬有利尿补水的作用，是首选祛暑食物。此外，入伏饮食还要注意增加营养，食物以易消化为宜，少吃油腻和辛辣的食物，少饮酒、少抽烟。此外，夏天大量流汗会引起盐分大量流失，使血液中形成胃酸所必需的氯离子储备量减少，从而影响胃液中盐酸的生成，不利于铁和钙的吸收，所以要及时补充水分和盐。补水汤茶饮料是个不错选择。汤类含有大量的水分和钠、钾、镁等有机盐，而茶水可生津提神，减轻疲劳。

不过，这些汤茶热着喝才最能起到解暑的功效，因为温热的茶饮能通过舒张汗腺将体表温度降低1～2℃，消暑效果远优于冷茶。

防暑常识

酷暑临近，连日来，医院里感冒、发烧、头疼、胃肠不适及上呼吸道感染的病人逐渐增多，有的老人还诱发了心脑血管疾病。如何防暑降温呢?在此中医院专家提供一些夏季防暑的小常识帮您安度盛夏：

一、夏天不提倡进行爬山等在室外、白天进行的剧烈活动，建议可选择游泳、早晚慢跑等体育活动。

二、要多喝白开水，并且要定时饮水，不要等口渴时再喝，口渴后不宜狂饮。应少喝果汁、汽水等饮料，其中含有较多的糖精和电解质，喝多了会对胃肠产生不良刺激，影响消化和食欲。

三、不宜过量饮酒。人体在夏季受气温影响极易积蕴湿热，而湿热过盛又是诱发皮肤发生疮痈肿毒的病因，若大量饮白酒，更会助热生湿，无异于火上浇油。

四、饮食不宜过于清淡。夏天人的活动时间长，出汗多，消耗大，应适当多吃鸡、鸭、瘦肉、鱼类、蛋类等营养食品，以满足人体代谢需要。夏天的时令蔬菜，如生菜、黄瓜、西红柿等的含水量较高;新鲜水果，如桃子、杏、西瓜、甜瓜等水分含量为80至90%，都可以用来补充水分。

五、午睡时间不宜过长。午睡时间过长，中枢神经会加深抑制，脑内血流量相对减少会减慢代谢过程，导致醒来后周身不舒服而更加困倦。

六、忌受热后“快速冷却”。炎夏，人们外出或劳动归来，喜欢不是开足电扇，就是立即去洗冷水澡，这样会使全身毛孔快速闭合，体内热量反而难以散发，还会因脑部血管迅速收缩而引起大脑供血不足，使人头晕目眩。

七、空调室内外温差不宜太大。使用空调室内外温差不超过5度为宜，即使天气再热，空调室内温度也不宜到24度以下。

八、不宜佩戴金属首饰。金属装饰品中的某些金属沾上汗水，所接触到的皮肤可能出现微红或瘙痒等症状，容易引发接触性皮炎。

九、夏天出门记得要备好防晒用具，最好不要在上午10点至下午4点时在烈日下行走。如果此时必须外出，一定要做好防护工作，如打遮阳伞、戴遮阳帽、戴太阳镜，最好涂抹防晒霜。

十、生活起居要规律，不经常熬夜，保证充分的睡眠也是预防中暑的有效措施。睡眠时注意不要躺在空调的出风口和电扇下。

十一、出门还要随身携带防暑降温药品，如十滴水、仁丹、风油精等，以防应急之用。
