我妈妈的生日快到了，我想来想去就是想不出送什么礼物。鲜花吧，时光放不长;蛋糕吧，一吃就没了……哎，真是左右为难啊!我在屋子里走来走去，看见书桌上铺满了作业，顿时一个好主意萌发了——把自我的东西整理好，帮着妈妈做家务。

说干就干，我倒了一盆清水和一块抹布。先把爸爸妈妈卧室的柜子、窗户、床头柜，里里外外仔仔细细地擦了一遍。哇，真是不做不明白，一做吓一跳啊!我刚把抹布放入清水中，水就变得黑乎乎了。房间打扫好了，接下来就开始擦书房了，就这样我把家的里里外外都搞了个大扫除，干完之后，我是上气不接下气——气喘吁吁，真是被累得够呛得。要明白爸爸妈妈每一天这么忙忙碌碌的都是为了这个家。我想到妈妈回来时那欣慰的笑容，一下子忘记了疲劳。

我们要学会感恩，感谢父母给予生命，感谢父母给予亲情，感谢父母给予关爱。俗话说得好：“鸦有反哺之意，羊有跪乳之恩。”连动物都懂得感恩，更何况是万物之灵的人类呢?让我们不要再说：“以后我会……”，感恩就从此刻开始吧!
