每当我放学回家时，总能看见阳光射进来，您正在窗户边画彩铅画呢。画的是那样逼真，那样细致。我也忍不住来试一试。我照着您的画画起来，可由于观察不仔细，阴影没了，高亮处不见了，就连渐变色也不知去了哪里。您看了我那丑陋的画，说：“嗯，你第一次画，画成这样以经佷好了。不过要再加加油，努努力才能画像我这样。妈妈小时候可比你差多了，画的这么好，也是一天一天练出来的。”之后，您又细心的给我指点，一点儿一点儿教我…几天后我的画技大有长进，那都是您的工劳啊!就连美术老师也夸我画的好。

还记的一次，在冬天，您正在洗衣服，可那水又冰又冷，把您的手冻得通红，可您没有在意，因为您知道，如果不洗衣服，家里就没干净的衣服穿。我想过来帮忙，可被您拒绝了，您说：“不要来洗，水佷冷，你会感冒的。”“那您呢?”我问道。您说：“我身体好着呢，不会感冒。”我见您执意，也就没来争。

红豆杉的感恩。

红豆杉自己也记不清了，多少年以前，他们家族有了一个传说。他只知道这个传说一定是真的。

传说，世界上本来没有红豆杉，是一只名叫“爱”的红色小鸟创造出来的。那时“爱”正沉浸在失去女儿的悲痛之中，她怀着悲伤种下了一粒种子，因为有了爱的眼泪的魔力，那粒种子长出了不一样的枝叶。这令“爱”也很兴奋。要知道她创造了一种植物！“爱”便把全部精力都投入到这棵树上，使她渐渐忘记了悲伤。而种子开始却不这么想，他认为自己本应该躺在舒适暖和的土里，却因为有魔力的爱的眼泪，自己躺在了冰冷的土里。种子因为受不了寒冷，甚至想要自行了断，可“爱”却在这时改变了他。一天早上，“爱”轻轻抚摸着种子头上的泥土，温柔的说：“谢谢你种子，你让我忘掉了一切烦恼的事。真的，谢谢！”种子的心怦然一动，似乎明白了什么，但他却嘴硬地说：“为了不让她伤心我就活下来吧。”

接着，这棵树越长越大，“爱”也从来没见过这么大的树，她简直不敢相信自己的眼睛。也不知道是什么原因，“爱”给这棵树取名叫“红豆杉”。没过多久“爱”就死了。临死前“爱”对伙伴们说：“拜托你们替我把这棵树的种子带到各地去。谢谢！”“爱”的伙伴们照做了。红豆杉依然忘不了“爱”，他认为自己要报恩！所以，当“爱”的伙伴们把种子带到各地去的时候，他总要说一句：“记住，无论遇到什么困难，都要怀着一颗感恩的心，别忘了是谁创造我们的！”红豆杉的儿女们也把这句话和这个故事讲给儿女们听，最后，它成为一个传说保留了下来。
