1621年11月下旬的星期四，清教徒们和马萨索德带来的90名印第安人欢聚一堂，庆祝美国历史上第一个感恩节。他们在黎明时鸣放礼炮，列队走进一间用作教堂的屋子，虔诚地向上帝表达谢意，然后点起篝火举行盛大宴会，将猎获的火鸡制成美味佳肴盛情款待印第安人。第二天和第三天又举行了摔跤、赛跑、唱歌、跳舞等活动 。男性清教徒外出打猎、捕捉火鸡，女人们则在家里用玉米、南瓜、红薯和果子等做成美味佳肴。就这样，白人和印第安人围着篝火，边吃边聊，还载歌载舞，整个庆祝活动持续了三天 。第一个感恩节的许多庆祝方式一直流传后代 。

[小学生感恩节书信作文：给妈妈的一封信

早晨起来，是谁早早的起来为我们烧好了美味的早餐；上学时是谁骑着难踏又缓慢的小自行车带着我们上学；放学后是谁带着我们一步又一步的走回家；晚上是谁帮我们叠好了被子，让我们早早入睡。成长中的点点滴滴又是谁养育我们的——那就是母亲！

母亲带我们走在人生的道路中，让我们不误入歧途。今天就让我们怀着一颗感恩的心来报答母亲吧!

为了报答母亲，趁母亲还在熟睡中，偷偷的为母亲烧一次美味的早餐，就轻轻的放在母亲位置的面前，母亲醒来看见桌子上热腾腾的早餐，不禁会感到惊讶；上学时我轻轻的从母亲那小小的自行车上跳下来帮母亲推着走；放学后我偷偷的帮母亲打了一辆车，让母亲不用受脚痛之苦；晚上我趁母亲转身的一瞬间，轻手轻脚的跑进母亲的房间为母亲铺好被子，让母亲睡到天明。早上美味的早餐又出现在母亲面前......

不经意间看到一句话“手是女人的第二张脸。”然而，我妈妈的手却是一双粗肿而且满是裂痕的手啊。那一刻我脑海中浮现出种种妈妈用这双手为我做过的事。

小时牵着她的手咿呀学步，后来牵着她的手走进校园，长大我越走越远，固执地挣脱她的手，追寻我所谓的自由，而当某一天我遍体鳞伤，再回头却发现那双手温暖依旧。时光夺走了妈妈的青春年华，却永远夺不走掌心里那份浓浓的爱意。

此时此刻，我想何不为妈妈洗一洗手，温柔地亦如儿时她为我洗脚一样。

我打好一盆水，端到妈妈面前说：“妈，让我为你洗一次手吧！”我仿佛看到了妈妈眼角的泪光，她点着头，哽咽地说“好。长大了，懂事了。”

握上她的手，发现时光将她的手布满“沟壑”，粗糙的质感伴着一些酸楚涌上我的心头。我不禁自问：“还记得当初那双常常牵着我去上学、过马路的细致的年轻的手吗？”我吸了吸鼻子，细细抚摸那皲裂的伤痕，我的心紧了一紧，我已经多久没有牵一牵她的手了。印象中她的手总是那样温暖、柔软，牵着我走过很多个春夏秋冬，而如今已不再依旧。捧一些水，浇在妈妈手上，看水流缓缓流过每一条纹路，这是岁月留下的印记，是为了让我从这其中体会妈妈对我这么多年的爱与温情。四目相对，千言万语涌在心间，却只能默默浸湿眼角，用很低地声音道出一句“妈，辛苦了。”然后在心里暗想：以后我来照顾你，回报你，感恩你。她眼底的波澜和脸上欣慰的笑容透着：乖孩子，懂事了，你是妈妈的骄傲。都说母女连心，确实这样，我所想的她都了然于胸，她所想的我都真真切切地感受到了。

我渐渐懂得了，琦君笔下的妈妈的手：我生病时，母亲用手揉着我火烫的额角，按摩我酸痛的四肢，我梦中都拉着她的手不放——那双粗糙而温柔的手啊！天下所有母亲的手都是这样，所有母亲的心也都是一样，将所有的苦水咽下肚子里，却炫耀被幸福撑得好饱。

生命像一条流淌的小河，岸边盛开着充满孝心的花朵，于是记忆里到处洋溢着芬芳。忙碌的我们知道日子会离去，但妈妈仍在。无论走多远，妈妈的手中总是有一根风筝一般的线，线的那头连着子女的心，时时告诫我们“父母在，不远游，游必有方。”

The Spring Festival is the first traditional festival of the Chinese people in one year. It marks the end of the old year and the new year has begun. The annual evening meal is one of the important activities of the Spring Festival, and the Chinese peoples families attach great importance to the dinner. At the beginning of the first two of the month, I went to my grandmothers house with my mom and dad to have dinner.

Today, there are a lot of people, grandmas home is very busy, the year is super strong. My aunt, uncle, and my father are talking about a hot day. They eat melon seeds, while talking off the reel. Cousin and sister in sister-in-law in the room amused baby happy, looking at the babys smiling face, they do not mention how happy. And both of me and my cousins were "unscrupulous".
