孔子名叫孔丘，是鲁国陬邑(今山东曲阜东南，)人。他父亲是个地位不高的武官。孔子三岁的时候就死了父亲，他母只好带着他搬到曲阜住下来，把他抚养成人。据说他从小很爱学礼节，没有事儿，就摆上小鹏小盘什么的，学着大人祭天祭祖的样子。

孔子到齐国后，跟齐景公谈了他的政治主张。齐景公待他很客气，想把孔子留下来。但是相国晏婴认为孔子的主张不切实际，结果齐景公没用他。

但是齐国的大夫黎鉏认为孔子留在鲁国做官对齐国不利，劝齐景公给鲁定公送一班女乐去。齐景公挑选了八十名歌女送到鲁国去。鲁定公接受了这班女乐，天天吃喝玩乐，不管国家政事。孔子对这件事感到很失望。孔子的学生说：“鲁君不办正事，咱们走吧!”

打那以后，孔子离开鲁国，带着一批学生周游列国，他先后到过卫国、曹国、宋国、郑国、陈国、蔡国、楚国。在列国奔波了七八年，希望找个机会实行他的恢复周朝初年礼乐制度的政治主张。可是，那个时候，大国都忙于争霸的战争，小国都面临着被并吞的危险，整个社会正在发生变革。这些国家的国君没有一个采纳了孔子宣传的政治主张。

最后，孔子回到鲁国，把全部的精力放到了整理古代文化典籍和教育上。孔子在晚年还整理了几种重要的古代文化典籍，像《诗经》、《尚书》、等，并把鲁国史官所记的《春秋》加以删改，成为我国第一部编年体的历史著作。在认识论和教育方面，它注重“学”与“思”的结合，提出了“学而不思则罔，思而不学则殆”和“温故而知新”等主张。他首创私人讲学的风气，门下弟子有上千人。自汉代以后孔子的学说成为了两千年封建文化的正统，影响极大。

孔子的学习精神非常好。相传，在他晚年攻读《周易》的时候，曾翻来覆去地读，竟使编联《周易》的绳子断了好几次。根据孔子苦读《周易》的故事，后人引申出“韦编三绝”这句成语。形容勤奋读书。

编联竹简的皮绳断了多次。比喻读书勤奋。此外，“韦编三绝”也可指穿联甲骨的牛皮断了多次。本义不一定是穿联竹简。

Hello everyone and good morning! I am very privileged to be given this platform by the professor and really happy to introduce myself. My name is XX, 19 years old, from XXX, which is a very beautiful place!I am very happy coming to XXX and able to study with you all for the next 4 years. We are all from every corner of the country, which is a kind of fate. I like reading, playing computer and also love the subject of maths.

But unfortunately, we dont have this subject here.My ideal is to be a director and one day be able to make my own movies.
