名流免不了常被邀请作演讲，鲁迅也不例外。他演讲时旁征博引，妙趣横生，常常被掌声和笑声包围。有一次他从上海回到北平，北师大请他去讲演，题目是《文学与武力》。有的同学已在报上看到不少攻击他的文章，很为他不平。他在讲演中说：“有人说我这次到北平，是来抢饭碗的，是‘卷土重来’;但是请放心，我马上要‘卷土重去’了。”一席话顿时引得会场上充满了笑声。

3.爱书情结

鲁迅先生从少年时代起，就和书结下了不解之缘，他一生节衣缩食，购置了多册书本。他平时很爱护图书，看书前总是先洗手，书脏了就小心翼翼地弄干净。他自己还准备了一套工具，订书、补书样样都会。一本破旧的书，经他整理后，往往面目一新。他平时不轻易把自己用过的书借给人，若有别人借书，他宁可另买一本新书借给人家。

4.标点的稿费

大家知道：标点符号虽然其貌不扬，但在文章中却起着举足轻重的作用呢。可当年的出版界对标点符号不重视，在支付稿费时，往往把它从字数中扣除，不给稿费。一次，鲁迅应约为某出版社撰写书稿，由于事先探知该出版社不支付标点符号的稿费，因此他的书稿通篇没有一个标点符号.

编辑看了书稿后，以“难以断句”为由，回信要求鲁迅加上标点符号。鲁迅回复：“既要作者加标点符号分出段落、章节，可见标点还是必不可少的。既然如此，标点也得算字数。”那家出版社没办法，只好采纳鲁迅的意见，标点符号也折算字数支付稿费了。呵呵!

5.辣椒驱寒

鲁迅先生从小认真学习。少年时，在江南水师学堂读书，第一学期成绩优异，学校奖给他一枚金质奖章。他立即拿到南京鼓楼街头卖掉，然后买了几本书，又买了一串红辣椒。每当晚上寒冷时，夜读难耐，他便摘下一颗辣椒，放在嘴里嚼着，直辣得额头冒汗。他就用这种办法驱寒坚持读书。由于苦读书，后来终于成为我国着名的文学家。

6.烟罐驱猫

鲁迅晚年来到上海专事写作，50多岁仍然童心未泯。一次，夜静更深鲁迅在写作，外面的猫不停地叫，屡屡打断他写作的思路，鲁迅随即拿起手边的五十支装铁皮的香烟罐，对着可恶的猫一一发射。

7.戏弄特务

有一次，鲁迅在上海的街头蹓跶，身后总跟着一小特务盯梢。当然这对鲁迅来说是常有的事。鲁迅故意将他当成乞丐，坦然地转过身去递过一块银元：“买饭吃吧。”
