今天被评为三八红旗手--巾帼建功标兵，我感到十分的荣幸，也很高兴能站在这里给大家演讲，回顾我所走过的环保之路。

我叫田桂荣，今年53岁，是新乡县合河乡范岭村的一位普通农村妇女。几年来，在各级妇联和广大姐妹的帮助下，从普通的农村妇女成为中外媒体竞相报道的“民间环保大使”。特别是～年6月，我作为亿万农民姐妹的代表荣获了海内外有影响力的中国妇女时代人物称号。当我从全国中央委员、全国妇联主席顾秀莲大姐手里接过证书时，泪水一下子涌了出来。我的心情是多么的激动，因为我知道，我之所以能够拿奖，是因为在我的身后有数不清的姐妹在帮我。当时我就说，拿奖了，就好比是汽车到了加油站，在以后的日子里，我还要继续拼搏，为我们妇联姐妹增光添彩。

我是怎么回收废旧电池的

在一个偶然的机会里，我得知，一节一号电池烂在地里，能使一平方土地失去使用价值；一节纽扣电池能污染6万升水，相当于一个人一辈子的用水量。废电池中含锌、镉、汞等重金属，在这几种生物累积作用下，能引起人体贫血、肾损伤、肝癌等疾病，并对神经系统造成危害。

听到了一串精心触目的文字我震撼了。大家知道，我1912年开始生产电池，是生产电池的大国，消费电池的大国。新乡是生产电池的基地。在良心的驱使下我决定回收废旧电池。我用绿布制作了3000多面三角旗，写上地址、电话，制作多个回收箱发放给商店批发电池的客户，印制万份倡议书给大中院校发放，走街串巷以每节2分的价格回收电池，在我的实际行动影响下，有一位80岁的老干部骑自行车，送来8节废电池。三个月寒风刺骨的，总算没有白跑；一个浴池搓背的女工下夜班在大街上捡废电池1000多节送过来；后来感动大学生、市民长期给我送废电池。为了加大回收量，我还在大中学校和超市设立回收箱，就这样长期宣传，也遭到社会上一部分人的冷嘲热讽，有的说我挣钱多了想捞名；有的说我想申请吉尼斯；有的说我歪嘴吹喇叭—歪劲不小；还有当面说你要是死了就成英雄了。我听到或心里很不是滋味，我不死，我要为环保而活，活着就要当一个无名的环保英雄。

渐渐的收多了，收到20吨，家里放不下了。没有想到别的办法处理，这怎么办！老范吵我，多次吵我，我也不放过他，你在大队我支持你20年，你就不能支持我两三年，实在不行，分家也可以，要不就离婚。我想干的事情，非干个名堂不可。老范吵归吵，他还帮我收废电池。儿子更恨我了，说我着迷了，不能看我。我每天晚上回家很晚，跟作案差不多。在外面人家笑话我，到了家，家人不能理解。收的多了环保部门也说我集中污染，收多了成了污染源，电池没地方放了，我到山里和老伴找个山洞也不行。真难呀！到太行山痛哭一场，以前有孟姜女哭长城，现在有田桂荣哭废电池，自劝自己不哭泣。这真是上也上不去，下也下不来，真懂骑虎难下这个词的意思了，愁的时候想喝酒也明白了什么是借酒浇愁愁更愁……

这几年做好事真难呀！儿子婚礼推了四年了，湖南小商贩远道而来，想买走废电池，但他光要里面的金属，我说：你给我一万元我也不给你，你把污染的埋到地下，到时候又成了毛主席故乡的污染源了，电池处理不了，我死都不瞑目。最后在新华社、中央电视台的关注下，省环保局拉走了，可了了我的心病，儿子结婚了，感谢政府的关怀。

在收废电池的过程中，从良心来说，是给后代留一片净土，将来变废为宝，还推动了我国废电池无害处理技术向前发展；最主要的是增强了人的环保意识。直到现在，我还在继续坚持，我还一直在大中院校宣传，让学生用环保电池、可充电池，不乱仍电池。

我是怎么建立环保网站的

为了利用现代化的宣传工具，2001年9月12日，网站开通了。自己对电脑一窍不通，边学边指导，我也可以在网上学到很多知识。经过三次该版，我的目标是在三年以后，成为全国最大的绿色网站，占领绿色空间。在网上我可以向全世界进行环保交流。许多记者都是在网上看到事迹后慕名来采访的，这更是“三个代表”重要思想的先进文化表现之一。我这个农村妇女经过几年自学电脑走上大学讲台进行演讲，向大中小学生讲授环保知识。

我是怎么建立环保协会的

2000年获得国际大奖之后，我清醒的看到一个人的力量太小，要想在民间环保领域有一番作为，就必须创办环保组织。于是奔波了200多天，费尽心血，创办了全国首家农民创办的环保组织。当时，河师大席国喜教授说：“成立协会难，成起来更难”。我不相信，我咬着呀想，中国只要有环保组织存在，我就要去拼搏，去争取。

我为了成立协会，跑到北京到梁从诫那去经，光往主管部门跑了100多趟，有时候几趟都没有收获。我记得有有一次，一个；领导说，你收的电池没法处理，收旧电池你没有办证，还想成立环保协会，说了我一大堆难吃难咽的话！我听了后，泪往肚里流。从主管部门出来，我本想找个没人的地方哭上一场，可是哭也没时间哭，自己劝自己不学孟姜女，要学花木兰！

我是一个农家妇女，在城里没有一点背景，最后跑到省环保局去咨询，省高主任说：“别跑了，找你那主管环保的市长”。我回来以后就找市长，市领导做了批示，主管部门也批下来了。

在政府、环保局和各界人士的帮助支持下，2002年5月12日，我的环保协会终于成立了，成立的那一天，搞的很隆重，我在上面讲话时，大河报记者刘新萍发现老范在一个小角落里擦泪，只有他是最了解我的。

环保协会向前发展困难比较大，资金没有。但我认为协会的成立，好像是万里长城走完了第一步，在艰难也要心甘情愿长期走下去……明知征途有艰难，越是艰难越向前！

环保协会不断发展壮大，在协会共同努力下，～年12月份，环保协会获得了全国环保生态大奖。

我是怎样保护母亲河的

从2000年，每遇暑假，我自费组织大学生考察生态，宣传环保，没有资金就徒步行走，克服种种困难，有时候想不到困难就会发生。有一年顺着黑水卫河步行，昏倒在路，大学生和我脚都磨成了泡，为了考察河流，即使累死在河边也心甘情愿。保卫母亲河活动受到上至党中央、团中央赞扬，下到市领导连书记的赞扬和大力支持，年底还获得团中央生态建设大奖。

通过这几年点点滴滴，一步一步走向了人民大会堂领奖台！多次和团中央在一起交流，我心里是多么激动！领奖杯时，我是这样想，我是代表所有支持的人去领奖的。但是成绩只能代表过去，我今后还得拼搏。有的说“我是骑虎难下了”。在座的姐妹，我就是不下了，为了环保事业，我不是女娲，要带领更多的人去补天；我虽不是大禹，大学大禹的精神来治污。大家说卫河的水清不清，新乡美不美，美！为了新乡天更蓝，水更清，为了创建优秀旅游城市，发展经济的同时，我们既要金山银山，更要绿水青山。大家要记住，保护环境，就是保护我们自己。

姐妹们！同志们！谁说女子不如男，在座的都是花木兰！姐妹们，让我们用崇高的理想激励自己，用昂扬斗志鼓舞自己，用积极乐观的心态用心去做事情，用自己的实际行动唤醒人们的环保意识。希望广大妇女姐妹用双手建设美好的家园，让我们在不同的岗位上拼搏吧！

When I was going on thirteen, I started to run my own shop. From then on, I worked hard to become a successful businessman.

One day I realized the importance of the English language in the business world and started taking night classes.

I was able to communicate well with foreign customers after two years of English study. But I started to feel that, in the long run, having a limited knowledge of English was not enough to make my business successful. I knew that only a well- rounded education could guarantee my success in the future.

When I was eighteen, I had to make a decision to continue doing business or go back to school. There was one obstacle keeping me from getting an advanced education. I had only completed elementary school up to that point. I then went back to senior high school after four months of tutoring in different subjects. Being at school for the first time after so many years was somewhat embarrassing because my classmates were at least two or three years younger than I. I concluded that my age did not matter. The important thing was getting into college.

I took the College Entrance Exams. Although my math exam result was only one point below the required score. I never gave up hope. The following year, I took it again and received the highest score in my city. Achieving such an amazing result gave me encouragement and courage necessary to continue my education to the next step.

I am now in my second year of college and know that it is never too late to learn. My passion for studying and improving myself will never come to a halt as long as I continue to live.

“Live and Learn.” is the motto I have adopted. I believe with an education I will succeed. So, if you are wondering whether education is important, don’t hesitate a moment to step up and seize the opportunity.

“啊!”我惊醒过来，原来是场梦啊!然后我在心里默默的想：我们这里可不能这样，否则我就要准备到月球去了!最后，我大声的说：“环保太重要了，我们不可以乱扔垃圾!”

你们知道吗?水资源的严重短缺正威胁着我们和后代的生存，不良的用水习惯是造成水危机的祸根之一。别小看那瞬间的流水，请改变不良的用水习惯!我们在洗手、洗脸、擦肥皂的时候，千万不要开着水龙头任清水长流，因为一分钟就会浪费10--18升水。关上水龙头再擦肥皂，你可以更安心地把手洗干净。

是呀，那我们为什么就不去做一些既能节能、又能环保的事呢?我们可以把工厂里排放出的废气收集起来，进行一定的加工处理后，把它变成煤气、液化气……再次的利用它。这样，既节约了能源，环境也不会被污染。淘完米的时候，淘米水不必倒掉，还可以用来浇花，不但节约了水，还让花儿得到了更多的营养，这不正是一举两得吗?还有，在楼道里装上一个声控灯，可以节约电量。

节能、环保，刻不容缓!从我做起，从点点滴滴做起。我们应当少用塑料袋，不乱扔废电池，不用一次性木筷……单个人的环保行动就像一盏灯，当它亮起时，周围的黑暗就会少一些。如果大家都点亮自己那盏灯，整个世界将会一片光明。

我在电视看到一则广告：也许有一天，我们只能靠沙画艺术来感受森林。看了这则广告，我心潮澎湃：我们不能让地球母亲再伤心流泪了，从现在开始，要过低碳环保的生活。

第一天：卖废纸

起床后，我偶然瞧见了一堆报纸，我刚想把他们扔进垃圾堆，突然想起了报纸可以回收，便把手缩了回来，把报纸卖给了回收站，还得了1元钱呢!真不错!

第二天：种树

今天真是个好天气，最适合骑自行车，爽啊!我美滋滋地瞪着自行车出了门。嗯?那是什么?我跑过去一看，是一棵被抛弃的小树苗!我仔细瞧了瞧，没死，种下去浇点水，应该能活!于是，我就开始忙活了!先挖个坑，把小树苗放进去，填土之后浇水，再用几根棍子和绳子做了栏杆。仔细想想，还不够满意，又用厚纸板做了个牌子，上面用红笔写着：多种一棵树，就能让地球妈妈少流一滴泪;少砍一颗树，就能换来地球妈妈一个满意的微笑!

第三天：巧用废物

我家的阳台上有许多废弃物品：玻璃瓶、绳子、没用的废纸……这天，我灵机一动，用一根绳子吊着8个小玻璃瓶，挂到门上，就成了一串风铃!接着，我用厚纸板卷起来，做了个笔筒;把鞋盒稍做裁剪就成了簸箕。多么奇妙，可以巧用物品，做出自己喜欢的东西，真是太棒了!

我演讲的题目是：保护环境，从小做起。

同学们，环保知识你们了解多少，知道多少？保护环境是人类有意识地保护自然资源并使其得到合理利用，防止自然环境受到污染和破坏。环境遭破坏的原因有许多，有人为原因，也有自然原因。不过大多数是人们乱砍乱伐，乱扔垃圾等因素。

近几年，因为人类大量砍伐树木、破坏环境，使植被遭到破坏，造成了土地沙漠化、水土流失等现象。树木也渐渐减少，于是，二氧化碳无法吸收，大量的二氧化碳使空气变得温暖，就造成了世界上目前出现的状况：气温逐渐增高。

然而，造成这个现象的原因是什么呢？我们人类为了自己的生存、为了自己生活的更好，不顾地球母亲的身体。工厂里乱排放污水，烟囱冒着浓浓黑烟，乱砍伐森林树木，浪费资源……使清澈的河水变得浑浊，茂密的森林变得狼狈不堪，蔚蓝的天空变得灰暗，碧绿的青山变得光秃秃。所以，使江河附近的水土流失，造成了洪水这个现象。泥石流、森林火灾、动物绝迹、水源严重缺乏等一连串的灾害接二连三，使我们的地球母亲难以承受。这都是人们自作自受的后果，损失了这么多，我们能怪谁呢？还不是怪我们自己，我们每一个人都有一份责任，毕竟，地球是我们大家共同的。

这些年来，我们国家也受到了严重的环境污染，特大沙尘暴在我国一次又一次发生，它将会掩埋草地、吞毁家园，严重地影响了人民的生活，使我们难以生存。绿色的草地将会变成沙漠，大树将会永远卧倒在地，而我们也不会快乐生活：幸福没有了，亲人没有了，连我们赖以生存的地球也会在茫茫宇宙中粉碎，就像玻璃摔在地上一样。然而这不仅是沙尘暴带来的灾难。

每当4月22日，这是地球的节日，至今已经30年了，就因为"三废"污染（废水、废气、废渣）和"十大污染"，每年造成了全世界部分人患病、残废、甚至死亡。然而，白色污染已经有了自由，它在天空中胡作非为，把空气和臭氧层的衣服扎破，他让沙漠上的沙子飞得永远不得停息，搅乱了人民的生活。大自然不敢与它作对，匆匆忙忙的离开了人们。

如果我们再不能够制止，白色污染会给人类严重的惩罚，到了最后，不仅是珍稀的动植物，就连我们人类，最终将会灭绝在沙漠上。

而我们，难道就只能袖手旁观吗？难道我们只能看着这美丽而脆弱的地球永远消失在人间吗？从此，我们还能看到风吹草地见牛羊，白云下面马儿跑的那种景象吗？虽然我们只是学生，但是我们能够为家乡做出一点贡献，让地球在希望中崛起

同学们，我们离不开赖以生存的地球，共同的命运把我们联系在一起，大自然多么盼望它能回到家园，地球母亲把重任托付在人类的身上，因为只有我们才能挽回地球和人类的幸福：让绿色不再叹息，大自然不再哭泣，让地球母亲的伤痕消失，让明天的地球更加美丽、坚强、可爱！

良好的自然环境，是人类存在、延续的物质基础。自然环境是指地球上有生命的范围，通常又叫生物圈。生物圈是遵循平衡法则的循环系统，有天然自净作用，如果天然自净徨遭受人为破坏，环境就会受到污染，人类自己就会受到惩罚，甚至威胁人类的生存。

保护环境是全人类的义务，因为我们只有一个地球！

我国水哉污染严重

我国江河湖泊普遍受到不同程度的污染。全国每年至少接受排放的污水300亿吨，平均每天8000万至9000万吨。而其中85%以上未经任何处理埋接流入江河。黄河、珠江、淮河、松花江、辽河、海河等流域有机污染严重。四大海区以渤海和东海污染较重，赤潮频频发生，近海海域水质恶化日趋明显。

保护我们的环境

我国建成了"三北防护林带"，有效地控制了风沙的南侵；限期治理淮河水质污染，政府下令限期沿淮河两岸的工厂企业达标排放废水，凡是在限期内达不到要求的一律关闭。目前正采用同样措施治理其他江河湖泊沿岸工厂企业的排放污水问题，这样就有效地制止水资源的污染；包兰荒漠防护网的形成，积累了人类战胜荒沙的经验；长江上游的植被重建工程，历时二十余年，取得较为显著的成效，最近又加大了重建的.力度，划定了天然森林禁止砍伐区、扩大封山育林的区域；国务院决定本世纪末投资900亿元重点重建长江、珠江、钱塘江和太湖、鄱阳湖、巢湖的环境。

闻名世界的"水俣病"

水俣湾是日本的一个风景秀丽的海湾。水俣镇上的渔民世世代代靠丰富的海产生活。1950年，镇上发生了一个奇怪的现象：有些猫猛然得了怪病，走起路来晃晃悠悠，四肢不断抽筋，最后竟自己跳进海里淹死。不久，当地居民也得了这种怪病。症状跟病猫十分相似，先是口齿不清，走路东倒西歪，继而肌肉哆嗦，身体蜷曲，发疯似地喊叫，最后在极其痛苦中死去。

这种怪病的起因，直到1969年才查清楚：原来水俣镇有一家氮肥公司，它在生产过程中采用汞作催化剂。这家公司向水俣湾排出的废水废渣中就含有汞。汞进入动物体或人体内，就会麻痹中枢神经，年深日久就会造成死亡。

水俣湾的海水被含汞的废水污染，海洋里生物中了汞毒，海洋生物组成"食物链"，一环一环的积累，到了大鱼身上，汞的浓度就比海水中的提高了一万倍到十万倍。猫和人吃了含汞量较高的水产，就得了可怕的水俣病。

The Low-Carbon Economic

Nowadays,with more and more serious problem such as the global increasing temperture,the melting ice and the rising sea-levering,people are recognizing the important of developing the low-carbon economic now.

There are many ways we can do to reach the loe-carbon economic.Fristly,discovering others fuels which is more clean and more green to instead of the using of carbon.Secondly, we should have the save-energy conscious and do something which we can make,for instance,using the bus ranther than car when you go out,re-use the thing that can be recycle used,reducing the use of plastic bags.Last but not least,we should plant more trees or other greenplants,in which way we can not only improve the environment,but also can make our home more beauty.

In my opnion, the most important thing to reach the low-carbon economic is everyone must try their best do what they can do for it.Once everyone have the sence of low-carbon economic and have the action by themselves ,it will be earlier to reach it.

我从小就爱护环境，一直到现在。这是因为在我很小的时候，有一次妈妈出差去了香格里拉，在那拍了很多张风景美丽的照片，那里的天很蓝水很清。看着照片仿佛就能闻到那里的新鲜空气。我问妈妈：“你拍照片里的地方为什么这样干净呢?”妈妈说：“因为，我和那些叔叔阿姨们都没有扔垃圾，而且还把别人扔了的空瓶子和垃圾都带了回来，这样才能保护环境，等你长大了，香格里拉就还是一个美丽干净的地方。”这句话，让我懂得了：保护环境是要从小事做起，这是每个人的好品质。只有这样我们才能拥有美丽的家园。从此我开始注意身边的环境，这也是我喜欢爱护环境起因。

爱护环境不能光想着，也要用实际行动表示出来，我就用实际行动表示出来了。记得有一次，我和我的一个好朋友出去玩，汽车在高速路上飞驰。忽然他要把一张糖纸扔出窗外，我连忙说：“你不能把这张纸扔出去，风会把它吹到旁边的河里，这会污染环境的!”我的好朋友红着脸说：“我知道了，下次再也不扔了。”到了山里，妈妈给我准备了一个塑料袋，我们把带去的零食包装袋和空的矿泉水瓶子都扔进袋子里，带下了山。路上我们还遇到了小松鼠和小喜鹊，我想我把垃圾带走了，它们家园的山就永远这么美丽、水就永远这么清澈。

还有一次，我和妈妈在人行横道上散步。我们走呀走，忽然发现一辆洒水车的水在不停地往下流。我看见后连忙跑过去告诉洒水车的司机：“叔叔，你的洒水车的后面漏水了。”司机看了看说：“知道了，是我没有把阀门关紧，真是谢谢你了!”我听到叔叔的夸奖高兴极了，妈妈也表扬了我。

我保护环境的事还有很多，我觉得爱护环境是每个人的责任，只有这样我们的地球才能永远是蔚蓝色地星球，我多希望将来在城市里就能看到银河、看到北极星和织女星啊!

Stepping into the new century, environment pollution has become more

serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as, water

pollution, air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on

a planet which is full of pollution. Where all these pollution comes from? To a

large extend, the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for

the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have

more fuel, people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for

energy are hardly to meet. Countless private cars on the street, the gas

stations are short of gasoline, even the government has raise the price so many

times in order to control the needs of gasoline, but it’s still not working.

Overusing the natural resources has already affected the ecological balance.

However, the factories still release the toxic air into the sky and the polluted

water into the rivers. People still lack of the conscious of protecting the

environment. I think it’s time for all of us to do something.

The government should put forward some more strict laws to prevent the

environment from being further polluted. And they should let people know more

about the importance of environment protection. And we should find the balance

between the economic growth and environmental protection. Plant more trees in

the deserts and stop cutting down the forest. Forbid the factories to pour the

waste water into the rivers directly. Encourage people to use public

transportations to work. Both government and ordinary people should join hands

together to make our home clean and fresh again. Only in this way, our earth

could be a better place to live in.

To save electricity,please turn off the lights when leaving the room.Save a minute when you‘re taking a shower.Switch off the water when using soap.

As a result，the Huangtu plateau which was once covered with grass and forests was turned into barrens that supported fewer plants. Another example was in several developed countries. Because many chemical factories discharged poisonous gas without filtering it, cities were covered with so much poisonous gas that people were killed by the air they breathed in. What horrible scene! What we are suffering is only a small part of what the nature once suffered. If we don’t take action to show respect to the environment, we will have to face an increasingly awful situation. Measures should be taken to protect the environment on which we are relying.

First governments should forbid destroying vegetation, rivers and lakes, oceans, as and the atmosphere as well. Second voices should be made to announce the public of the importance of protecting the environment. Third enterprises should pay special attention to the effect they have on the environment and work out solutions for the problems. Only  changing the way we treat the environment can we get along well with it. Only by saving the environment can we save ourselves.
