Almost everyone wants to live a long life, but longevity is not for all

people. It is reported that most long life people are in villages, far away from

big cities. In village, life is closer to nature. The sky there is clear and

pretty; the air is fresh; the water is clean; and the food they eat are natural,

without any chemicals. Besides, those villages are abundant in green trees,

beautiful flowers, fresh fruit, and wild animals, which can evoke peoples

passions for life. Moreover, the living pace in those villages is rather slow.

Nowadays, divorce rate has been rising sharply in China, because most

people think that its better to get divorced than stick to a bad marriage. But

for those couples who have children, they had better think over before getting

divorced. Parents divorce may have some negative effects on their children.

Firstly, the love of father is different from the love of mother. Children need

both of the love. Without each of the love, they may not grow up healthily.

Secondly, in order to raise the family, the single parents have to work harder,

so that they may have less time to accompany with their children. The children

Summer can be very hot in southern taibei where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. 我们撑着大袋子，胡老师用火钳往里夹垃圾。没过多久，人大的袋子就装满了。我们先到了一些。过了很长一段时间，坑还没有见底。好几个同学看不下去了。索性套上袋子与老师一去挖。表层上的垃圾处理干净后，下面的垃圾粘着土。还有许多西瓜虫和蚯蚓，两个字：恶心!，但大家已经顾不得这些了，张手就抓，干得不亦乐乎。

终于，坑底朝天了，另外地方的同学也陆续回来了，各种各样的垃圾堆成了一座小山。大家都成了大花脸，同学们你看看我，我看看你，都笑了。

白色污染

伴随着人类生活文明的进步，白色污染日愈严重起来。塑料袋，塑料包装等虽是我们日常生活中必不可少的东西，它价格便宜，质轻，耐用，防水的几大特点被人们所看好。在中国的市场极大，我国也是世界上十大塑料制品生产和消费国之一。但处理这些东西比想象中难得多。一般塑料垃圾在自然界停留的时间可达200~500年。所以对于塑料类制品我们要抵制使用。

汞污染

汞是唯一在常温下呈液体的金属元素。俗称朱砂。汞可溶于水，空气中。它巨大的毒性令人谈之色变。它主要来源于电池等物品。据统计1970~1979年全世界直接向水体排放的汞总量达1.6万吨！排向大气的汞量也达10万吨。当水中或空气中的汞浓度过高时，会导致树木枯死，人类患上因汞摄入过高引发的病症，如日本南部九州湾有一个叫水俣的小镇，这里居住着4万居民，以渔业为生。1939年开始，日本氮肥公司的合成醋酸厂开始生产氯乙烯，工厂的生产废水一直排放入水误湾。该公司在生产氯乙烯和醋酸乙烯时，使用了含汞的催化剂，使废水中含有大量的汞。这种汞在水体中，被水中的鱼食用，在鱼体内转化成有毒的甲基汞。人食用鱼后，汞在人体内聚集从而产生一种怪病：患者开始时，只是口齿不清，步履蹒跚，继而面部痴呆，全身麻木，耳聋眼瞎，最后变成神经失常，直至躬身狂叫而死。1972年据环境厅统计，水误镇共患水误病180人，死亡50多人，就在新线县阿赫野川亦发现100多水误病患者，8人死亡。据报到，患者人数远不止此，仅水误镇的受害居民，即达万余人。

环保事业说大很大，说小很小。往大的说，可以造成成片的水域污染。往小了说，只要我们每人从身边的小事做起，人人环保低碳，环保事业也可以是一件很小的事。如果我们少用些塑料袋，少乱丢些垃圾，那么这个世界上便会少些随风飘舞的白，多些生机勃勃的绿；也会少些乌黑肮脏的河，多些碧蓝清澈的湖······

如果我们每个人在地上看见一个塑料袋不是直接走过，而是弯腰拾起；如果我们每人不是随意乱丢垃圾，而是做到合理分类垃圾；如果我们每人都少用些塑料袋，多用些环保袋。那么我相信地球母亲会少些愤恨的泪水。。。。。。

It is reported that ten big cities in China are being  among the top twenty cities with the highest pollution index in the world. This means it is high time we did something to bring the situation under control.

Many factors are  to the deteriorating situation: industrial wastes pumped into the air, the lakes and rivers; a increasing number of automobiles crowding into the streets; the  use of plastic bags etc.

To my view, stiffer laws and regulations must be implemented to check pollution. Industries that release wastes without  should be heavily fined. Cars should be equipped to minimize the exhaust they release into the air. And the use of plastic bags and disposable meal boxes should be banned. What’s more, the media should play an important role in implanting a sense

of consciousness into people’s mind.

If everybody works toward a common goal of making the environment better, we can create a cleaner and lovelier world for us and for the coming generation.

就最近这几年来看，随着各地区的经济迅猛发展，环境污染问题也越来越严重，保护环境，维持生态平衡也成为了我们每个公民应尽的责任和义务，也是为了社会更好发展的一项重要举措!

何为环境?从哲学的角度来看，所谓环境，主要指我们所研究的主体周围的一切情况和条件。对于人来说，环境是指人生活于其中，并能影响人的一切外部条件的综合。人的生活离不开好的环境，在人类几百万年的历史进程中，环境对开创人类文明和进步发挥着巨大作用。

大气资源、水资源、土地资源等等，都是让人类得以生存的物质基础;而森林资源、矿藏资源等资源又为人类的不断发展提供物质，创造出地球上高度的人类文明。但是，人类在开发利用环境资源的同时，也对自己的生存环境产生了一系列环境问题。

现在像我们柳疃镇、青乡乡，最近电网部门纷纷撤除喷水机器的使用。喷水机的使用对环境的污染更加恶化、污染了水资源对人们的身体健康危害甚大。人类的活动会使大量的工业、农业和生活废弃物排入水中，使水受到污染。又例如说，我们北部渤海湾受到工业、印染厂的废弃物排放大量鱼虾死亡，地区农民上海捕鱼，鱼的体内含有大量化学物质对人们的身体健康造成了危害。据资料统计，目前，全世界每年约有4200多亿立方米的污水排入江河湖海，污染了5.5万亿立方米的淡水，这相当于全球径流总量的14%以上。1984年颁布的中华人民共和国水污染防治法中为“水污染”下了明确的定义，即水体因某种物质的介入，而导致其化学、物理、生物或者放射性等方面特征的改变，从而影响水的有效利用，危害人体健康或者破坏生态环境，造成水质恶化的现象称为水污染。水的污染有两类：一类是自然污染;另一类是人为污染。当前对水体危害较大的是人为污染。水污染可根据污染杂质的不同而主要分为化学性污染、物理性污染和生物性污染三大类。

最近，我发现政府部门、昌邑环卫局开始大力整治环境，沿街排查污染源，青乡街也定点安置了便民垃圾桶，替代了原来垃圾围绕街道，臭气熏天的状况。各个村庄开始整治村内环境的污染源，使街道、村庄焕然一新!而这不是主要的，更重要的是我们每个人自觉保护环境，保护我们赖以生存的家园，为了我们更为了我们的后代，树立好榜样，奠基好基础，让我们的家园更加美丽、更加丰富多彩!

所以呢!环境与我们的生活密切相关，保护环境卫生从我做起，从现在做起：不随地吐痰;不乱扔垃圾;废弃电池和塑料袋要处理好;多植树造林，不践踏草坪;不污染水源。保护环境，我们有责!看你的行动喽!

小建议：家庭生活中的塑料瓶可以做成装饰品，可回收物品可以卖出，换来金钱买实用的东西岂不很好?一次性木筷消毒清洗一下可以做成装饰品，你也能开小店赚大钱了!化废物为贵宝，让自己的心情更舒畅，让自己的心灵更纯洁，让自己的家庭更温馨!

Today I am very glad here to share my opinionsabout the protection of environment.

With the development ofscience and technology ,different kinds of pollution has been produced andcaused global concern recently.

As we know, people have beenliving on the earth for thousands of years, human activity damaged natural environment, such as excessive abuse of natural resources ,the sewage dischargedfrom factories ,the animal slaughter ,kinds of chemical fertilizers andgreen-house effect. All that is mentioned above has a bad impact on the eco-system .Now, many animals aredying out. We are suffering from unhealthy food and water, we are faced withharmful rays and global warming. It was ourselves who had made a series oftroubles. As you can see, we are the final victim.

Above all, if we human beings cannot recognize theseserious problems and try our best to solve them soon, we would finally lose theenvironment suitable for us to live. So, it is our duty to protect theenvironment ,but what should we do to protect it?

In my opinion, the first and important thing is tounite all forces ,that is to say---gather all hearts together. Next we shouldprotect and plant more trees, which can dispose of the dust in the air. As forfamilies, it is effective to ride bicycles rather than drive cars. Don’t litteranywhere as you like. In addition, sorting and recycling the rubbish also playan essential role in the protection of our earth. We’d better call on everyone aroundus to lead a low-carbon life, as it may make a difference to the environment.

Thus, it’s high time that we did something to improveour surroundings. Everybody should raise the awareness to protect our motherearth. Let’s appeal to more people to join us.

All in all ,there’s no doubt that keeping the balanceof human and nature ,we will benefit a lot.

Nowadays, peoples life has changed a lot with the development of modern technology and economy, which has put lots of negative effects on the environment.

Why this? Because, firstly, some factories are pouring wastes into rivers, lakes, seas and so forth; secondly, because of human activities, a great number of plants and animals are losing their lives; thirdly, using modern machines and chemicals is bad for the environment. Besides these, there are a lot of human activities which have done or are doing harm to our surroundings.

For this, I think, first, our government should make drastic measures to regulate human activities; second, we human beings should take pains-taking work to stop ourselves destroying the environment and try our best to protect our living space more.
