暑期的第一天，经历了五个多小时的奔波，我和妈妈还有她的同事及女儿到达了兰州，这是我们此次旅行的第一站。

还没有下飞机，我和妈妈便透过窗户左顾右盼，眼前是一片黄沙，只有靠近溪水的那一端有一片绿色。飞机又低了一点，我仿佛闻到了青草的香味，听到了绵羊的叫唤……

下了飞机，我拉着姐姐的手一起奔跑在广阔的土地上，呼吸着清新的空气。到了宾馆，稍作片刻休息，我们便前往沙洲的夜市，品尝地道的“兰州味”。

第二天，我们去了四大佛教圣地之一的塔尔寺。还没有进入寺庙大门，我们便被它的雄伟、壮观惊叹。当我们进入寺庙后，更是被栩栩如生的酥油花，精巧玲珑的堆绣，巧夺天工的壁画所吸引。

第三天，我们来到了茶卡盐湖，真可谓“水映天，天接地，人在湖中走，宛如画中游。”中国的茶卡盐湖就像是死海，湖中黑泥还能美容呢！一路走来，最美的风景非张掖丹霞莫属了，那里简直就是人间仙境，美得不像是在地球上。那连绵起伏的彩色群山就像是一位位下凡的仙女，各有各的姿态。第一个景区叫睡美人，一座高山七彩的颜色，就像是公主绝美的衣裳，流线型的石体是公主的长发。细细一看，石头上还有两条长长的空隙，那是公主紧闭的大眼睛。第二个景区叫八仙拜佛，需要爬上几层山才能看到这美景。虽然只有几层，但我还是累极了。可到山顶时，眼前景色让我惊呆了！八座高耸入云的山川齐刷刷地排成一队，另一座山却高傲地挺立在众山之前，接受众山的膜拜，真是“此景只应天上有”。除了这些，七彩飞霞等景点也十分美观，就不多写了。

如果张掖丹霞是最美的，那么鸣沙山月牙泉便是最有趣的了，因为我们的交通工具实在是太萌了！它们被称为“沙漠之舟”，有着长达五厘米的睫毛。它们就是骆驼！坐在骆驼背上的感觉可真不错，还很刺激呢。想想看，你坐在骆驼背上，它走在一道高空沙漠中，下面都是沙，小骆驼左摇一下，右摇一下，是不是很好玩呢？

旅程的最后一站是莫高窟，它承受了几千年的汗水与泪水，一个石窟，一个世界，一方洞穴，一段历史。那些色彩斑驳的洞穴记录了莫高窟几千年的历史，壁画中有舍己救虎的王子，为鸽弃身的猎人，楚楚动人的飞天……莫高窟真是一个美丽的神话。

快乐的旅行结束了，但这些美景会一直留在我心中，中国的文化也会被我发扬光大。

我的暑假过的很有意义，这个暑假我不但通过去西安游玩学到了不少历史知识，而且还去参观了在上海光大会展中心举办的书展。

爸爸利用休息天带我去了光大会展中心，走进大门首先映入眼帘的是一个个展位上摆满了各种各样的书，有工具类的书，有故事书，有科技类的书……有的书整整齐齐的摆放在书架上，有的堆砌的像旋转楼梯的形状，一层层叠上去，既美观又引人注目，走在这些书堆之间，能闻到一阵阵油墨的香味，这也许就是人们说的书香气吧！来参观的人也很多，几乎每个书架前都站满了人，人们翻阅查找着自己需要的书籍。收银台前，排起了长长的队，每个人的购物篮里都有好几本书，有的甚至推着一小推车的书。

在这众多的书中我挑选了三本我最爱的书，一本是《直播二战》、一本是《甲午战争》和一本《世界上最软最软的物理书》。

回到家我迫不及待的拿起书看起来，我用了2个小时一口气把这三本书里的《世界上最软最软的物理书》给看完了。看了这本书，我懂得了在我们身边日常生活中不为我们注意的物理知识。比如说：“过山车没有发动机，是靠势能转为动能，动能转为势能前进的，诸如此类的物理知识。而在之前，这些物理知识我是不知道的。

非常感谢书本给我带来知识的力量，让我学会了很多我不曾接触过的文化知识，让我过了一个有意义的暑假。

We had English final exam yesterday. I feelvery sad now because I think I didn’t do well in the exam. Firstly, just amoment ago I realized that my composition in the exam stayed from the point,because I misunderstood the meaning of Green Campus. I thought Green Campus isonly the color of the campus. So I totally got away from the point. Inaddition, time was not enough for me. Eventually, I wrote some answers on theanswer sheet without thinking. Thus I’m afraid I can’t pass the exam. I am nowvery anxious.

我们昨天英语期末考试。我感到很伤心，因为我觉得我没把试考好。首先，不久前我才发现我把作文写离题了，因为我把绿色校园的意思理解错了。我以为绿色校园是指校园的颜色。所以我离题了。此外，时间对我来说也是不够的。最终，有些题目我都没看就直接写答案上去了。所以我怕我会考试不及格。我现在很担心。

Nowadays, with the improvement of the people’s living standard, some people form a habit of raising small or domestic animals as pets. Some raise small dogs or cats as their pets while others raise various birds or fishes as their pets. There are still even some people raising snakes and other unusual animals as their pets.

Does anyone have the same opinion of raising animals as pets? No, some people object to the idea of raising animals as pets. To them, animals have their own right to live a natural life like human beings. On the other hand, the way people raise animals as pets have a negative influence on the surroundings such as dogs’ barking at midnight, dogs’ chasing people on the street and so on. What’s more, some animals will transmit some diseases.

In my opinion, I do not like the idea to raise animals at pets. Animals have their own right to lead a life as they like. We should not deprive them of their natural right. In this way, we will live in a peaceful world in harmony with the other living creatures.

如今，随着人们生活水平的提高，有些人养成了饲养小动物或家畜作为宠物的习惯。一些养小狗或猫作为他们的宠物，而其他人饲养各种鸟类或鱼类作为他们的宠物。甚至还有一些人饲养蛇和其他不寻常的动物作为他们的宠物。

任何人都有相同的意见，饲养动物作为宠物吗?不，有些人反对将动物作为宠物饲养。对他们，动物有他们自己的权利，生活像人类一样自然。另一方面，人们饲养动物作为宠物的方式对环境有负面影响，如狗的叫声在半夜，狗追逐人在街上等。更甚的是，有些动物会传播某些疾病。

在我看来，我不喜欢养宠物。动物有他们自己的权利，过他们喜欢的生活。我们不应该剥夺他们的自然权利。这样，我们将生活在一个和平的世界中，与其他生物和谐相处。
