假期就要结束了，爸爸妈妈今天要带我回老家，去一处景致幽雅、香火鼎盛的传统古文化旅游名胜地—安丘市石埠子镇城顶山公冶长书院!爸爸一边开车一边给我讲起了有关于书院的由来……

公冶长，春秋时齐国人，亦说鲁国人。孔子的女婿，为孔子弟子。他勤俭节约，聪颖好学，博通书礼，德才兼备，终生治学不仕禄，继承孔子遗志，教学育人，成为著名文士。因德才兼备，深为孔子赏识，后人思念先贤，在城顶山建公冶长祠……

我听得津津有味，脑海里一片书院的景象，心里盼望着车开的再快点，我有点迫不及待了。

来到山脚下，仰望去，群山环抱，绿树环绕，郁郁葱葱。深呼吸，空气是那么的清新，真是一个名不虚传的天然氧吧!

拾阶而上，一步一阶，石阶陡于脚下。爸爸此刻告诉我不管做什么事情一定要稳重、踏实，一步一个脚印!

很快我们到了祠西的青云寺，寺前两株银杏树参天比肩而立，枝干相交，是公冶长手植于此，历经了2500多年，阅尽沧桑，两树东雄西雌，东边开花，西边结果，宛如夫妻，故称为“同心树”，亦有“大树底下好乘凉、银杏树下结同心”之说!树上挂满了前来许愿的红色许愿绳!

公冶祠内立有公冶长塑像，东西耳房各一间，陈列着书画。院内碑亭内有明、清两代立的石碑，记载着修复公冶长祠的史实。院子不大，但有着深厚的历史沉淀!

公冶长的一生仁德兼备影响着后人，不愧为儒家思想之后!游完书院，感悟颇深，我们一定要学习古人刻苦勤劳，踏实虚心的精神，努力学习，不负众望!

Today the weather was terrible，so I had to stay at home.

In the afternoon，I finished some homework,then I thought that maybe today

was very boring。I stared to surf the Internet ,and I found the movie 《Ghost

Rider》which was directed by Mark Steven Johnson by accident and then I began to

watch it. The movie told us that a lover of motorcycle called Johnny signed an

agreement with a demon in order to save relatives‘’ lives .However,he lost his

spirit and had to work for the demon.Then He used his spell to fight with evil .

The movie was so exciting that I coulnt be calm 。I would never forget this

movie.

今天天气很糟糕，所以我只好呆在家里。下午，我完成我的一些作业，然后我想今天一定会很无聊吧。我便开始上网，偶然地发现了一部由马克·斯蒂文·约翰逊主导的电影《鬼面骑士》，我便开始观看。这部影片讲诉了一个名叫强尼的摩托车爱好者为了挽救他亲人的性命与恶魔签署了一份契约。但是，他因此而失去了灵魂，被迫给恶魔工作。他用他的魔力与邪恶作斗争。这部影片是如此的振奋人心以至于我不能平息我的内心。我永远都不会忘记这部电影。

The Mid-Autumn Day

August 15th in Chinese Lunar Calendar is the Mid-Autumn Day. It is one of the most important traditional festivals in China.

On that day people usually go back home to have family reunion . Each family will have the members get together to have a big dinner. The most popular food is moon cakes. They are round and look like the moon.

The moon is the brightest this night. People eat the delicious food while they are enjoying a beautiful full moon in their yard. At this time, some old people would like to tell many past events and tell the children a story about the rabbit on the moon . The children really believe that there is a rabbit on the moon. They hope to go to the moon and have a look one day.

What a great festival!

农历八月十五日是中秋节，在中国它是最重要的传统节日之一。

在那一天，人们通常回家与家人团聚，一家人聚在一起饱餐一顿。最流行的食品是月饼，它们圆圆的就像月亮。

中秋节晚上的月亮特别地圆。人们都在自家的院子里一边赏月一边吃着可口的月饼。这个时候 ，一些老人会讲述许多古老的故事，如月亮上的玉兔，孩子们信以为真，他们真想有一天登上月球看个究竟。

中秋是个美好的节日啊!

what would you do if you failed? many people may choose to give up.

however, the surest way to success is to keep your direction and stick to your

goal.

on your way to success, you must keep your direction. it is just like a

lamp, guiding you in darkness and helping you overcome obstacles on your way.

otherwise, you will easily get lost or hesitate to go ahead.

direction means objectives. you can get nowhere without an objective in

life.

you can try to write your objective on paper and make some plans to achieve

it. in this way, you will know how to arrange your time and to spend your time

properly. and you should also have a belief that you are sure to succeed as long

as you keep your direction all the time.

如果失败了你会怎么做?很多人可能会选择放弃。然而，要想成功，最可靠的方法就是坚持你的方向和目标。

在通往成功的路上，你必须坚持你的方向。它就像一盏灯，在黑暗中为你指路，帮助你度过难关。否则，你很容易就会迷失方向或犹豫不前。

方向意味着目标。人生如果没有目标，将一事无成。

It is quite usual that one meets failures, for ones life can never be

plain sailing. However, different people hold different attitudes towards

failure. Some people think it a heavy blow to fail in achieving something and

they can not endure failure. When they meet failure, they will be seriously

dejected and can never pluck up their courage to try again.

遇到失败这是很平常，因为人的生命不可能一帆风顺。然而，不同的人对失败持有不同的态度。获取某些东西失败对有些人来说是一个沉重的打击，他们不能承受失败。当他们失败，他们将非常的沮丧并且不能鼓起勇气再试一次。

However, others think it natural to meet failures in ones career.

Therefore, they are psychologically prepared. When they meet failures, they will

not be frustrated. Instead, they will continue to meet new challenges. As to me,

Im in favor of the latter view. Failure is really a terrible thing but it is

also the mother of success. If one draws lessons from failures, in most cases he

will get success in the future. Furthermore, ones life can never be smooth

sailing; it must be full of difficulies and setbacks. If one is daunted by

difficulies and frustrations, he will always be a failure. However, if one holds

a positive attitude toward failure, he will overcome difficulties and

frustrations to win victory.
