My teacher gave me an assignment experience life last week. I had been thinking how to finish it because I had never done any thing by myself before.

Mother was out today. It was a good chance to complete the assignment. Seeing the barrel was empty, I decided to fetch water from the well.

I took the empty barrel and went towards the well outside the yard. It snowed yesterday, so the alley was very slippery. A layer of thickice was frozen on the platform of the well. I was frightened by the sight, but I gathered my courage to walk towards it.

The alley was so slippery that I walked with difficultly. Suddenly, I slipped and fell down, water in the barrel totally poured down on the ground. I stepped on the platform carefully. After standing steadily and squatting down slowly, I hooked the barrel at the end of the rope and put the rope down slowly. I made an effort to drag the barrel up after it was filled with water. 紧张了一学期的学生们迎来了寒假。但对初三的考生们来说，距中考还有短短的几个月，寒假是一个查漏补缺的好机会。在这短短的三周时间里，怎样制定复习计划，怎样在有限的时间里提高效率?

通过这学期的几次月考，发现了学生们普遍存在的一些问题，针对这些问题在寒假里进行针对性的训练是很有必要的。

1、单词掌握得不错，却不会在填单词的句子中运用，失分很多。

2、能记住重点句型，但不会灵活变换句式。

3、了解语法，却不会做时态填空。

4、能读懂短文，却做不对选项。

5、知道如何写作文，却在写作时漏洞百出。

6、选择填空马马虎虎。

7、听力很差，失分很高，尤其是分析题。

所以，针对存在的问题，为避免以后重现类似错误，为复习考试奠定一个好的基础，特做计划如下：

1、加强听力训练。希望同学们每天听一套跟中考要求一样的听力材料。就像中考听力一样要求自己。听完后核对答案。看看失分在什么地方。然后合上书再听一遍，锻炼自己的听力。坚持听上一假期，肯定有收获。

2、培养良好的写作习惯。每天背上一篇好的范文，写上一篇类似的作文，用上里边的好词好句，对于连词成句部分，不妨每天写上5个连词成句，摸索里边的规律，在做这个题的时候，先看看里边有什么词组，什么句型，这样写起来就不会摸不着头绪了，集中练上一段时间会有提高的。

3、养成阅读的好习惯。由于阅读在考试中的比重很大，所以要加大阅读的力度。每天都要练习两个阅读两个完形。做完后核对答案，对做错的题分析原因，对里边出现的生词或短语要记录下来，有必要的要背过，以此来扩大自己的词汇量。此外，要限定时间以此来提高阅读的速度和能力。

4、强化重点题型训练。针对单选题和完形填空题错误较多的情况，同学们最好在寒假里把老师上课讲的专项练习好好看一遍，把老师讲的重点例题弄懂弄明白。每个学校都有一本复习指导的书，把书吃透了，里边的题弄明白了就可以了。题要精不要太多。把自己常错的题写在一个纠错本上，经常看看巩固巩固。

5、增加词汇量。有的学生平常的词汇量很少，在做阅读完形的时候看不懂文章，短时间增大词汇量不太容易。但假期是个好机会，可以集中来记忆。可以把几本书拿来把上边重要的黑体字部分的四会单词分期分批地记忆，每单元的重要词组也要背过。再配合着题做一些词型变换的题，学会灵活运用。

6、做几套中考模拟题。要重视往年中考题，在假期里给自己规定时间来做几套中考模拟题，做做往年的中考题有特别的作用。因为每年的中考命题难度相对稳定，风格相对一致，做中考题有助于同学们摸清中考命题的“套路”，明确复习方向，最后找出自己的不足之处，作为下一次的努力目标。

A Friend of Mine

I have several friends. Wang Lin is my best friend. He is eleven years old. He comes from Beijing.

Wang Lin came here three years ago. He came with his parents. His father is an engineer and his mother is a middle school teacher. He has no brothers or sisters. He is the only child of his parents.

一个陌生人，我并不知道他的名字。可他是冬日里一道亮丽的风景线，一直在我的脑海里挥之不去，温暖着我的心灵。

冬日的星期天，北风凛冽，在这寒冷的天气里，路上的行人都行色匆匆。我在戚城公园的门口碰见了一个乞讨的老人，他年纪大约六七十岁的样子，花白杂乱的头发，衣衫褴褛，手脸有些肮脏。驼着背，腿有残疾，蜷坐在地上。身体前面放着一只掉瓷的破瓷碗，碗里零星有几个硬币。

“现在的乞丐听说很多都是假装的。”本想给他一点零钱的我就打消了这个念头。公园门口来往的人很多，有些人匆忙而过，根本不肖看这个乞丐一眼。也有的人会瞥一下他，却没给他施舍钱。偶尔有人出于同情会扔几个硬币到他的碗里，在空旷的冬日里发出几声刺耳的叮当回音。看着这个可怜的乞丐，我心里有些同情他，便想把手里的5元钱给他。正在这时，我突然看到他颤颤巍巍地站起来，拿起那个碗艰难地向前面走去。我很纳闷，顺着他去的方向一看，原来那里有一群青年志愿者在为患白血病的孤儿募捐。我心里想：“这个老乞丐肯定是看那里人多，想去那里乞讨。”正想着的时候，只见那个乞丐走到募捐箱前，把他碗里的所有钱都投入到里面去了。我非常意外，那些志愿者大概也非常意外，都在感谢这位老人。但老人只是轻轻地说了一句：“别人帮助了我，我也应该帮助别人。”听到老人的话，我的心灵受到了极大震撼，仿佛冬日里的一道夏日骄阳照射的我浑身冒汗，使我一下子长大了许多。这个乞讨的残疾老人却有一颗金子般的灵魂，他才是真正道德高尚的人!

他像冬日里一道灿烂的阳光，给我们带来了挥之不去的冬日温情，永驻心间。他让我感动，让我同情，更让我敬佩。他使今年的冬天变得温暖，不再寒冷!
