到现在为止，许多国家都提倡保护环境、保护动物、不滥吃野味、预防sars病毒……等许多保护措施，以免污染环境，但是还有一部分国家对环境好像不太重视，所以，我们要向保护环境的国家学习，这样才可以减少病毒对我们的侵犯，另外，我们还要想办法让那些污染环境的国家停止污染环境，让那些国家也开始保护环境。噢，对了！听妈妈说，新加坡是一个极为干净的国家，污染很少，为什么呢？因为新加坡的人从小就养成了爱护环境的好习惯，所以他们很少污染环境。如果有新加坡的人污染了那里的环境，马上就会有人来罚款，如果没有人看见是谁扔的垃圾，马上就会有人自觉地把垃圾扔进垃圾桶，所以新加坡基本上没有什么垃圾污染。像这样的国家还有日本、澳大利亚、加拿大等。这些国家的公民都有很强的环保意识，而且他（她）的环保好习惯都是从小养成的，所以，我们也要从小养成爱护公物、讲卫生等好习惯，将来也为世界环保出一分力。

想一想，如果我们从现在开始，注意环保，以后的地球会是一个什么样子呢？或许以后真的没有“生病”这个词了，空气也变得像恐龙时代那样清新，地球上没有半点儿污染，人们用的东西都是一级环保的，世界上到处鸟语花香，汽车也用的是无铅汽油，再也不排废气了。相反，如果人类继续这样糟蹋下去的话，地球又会是什么样子呢？我们可以想象，在不久的将来，要想在地球上找到除了人以外的动物，可能比淘金还难，树木也会剩的没几棵了，幸存的那几棵也只不过是几棵快要干枯的小树，每天还要下几场酸雨或大暴雨，三天两头就要刮一次八~十二级的台风，或是下十几场十二级沙尘暴，每天都有十万到一百多万的人死于地震、海啸，地球简直快要爆炸了！

听到冰冷的电子音响起，我的心再一次沉到了谷底。

公元2099年，地球臭氧层遭到严重破坏，地球温度大幅跃升。南北极的冰川在以飞速融化，威尼斯还是变成了第二个亚特兰蒂斯，陆地在以肉眼可见的速度被淹没，横行的紫外线大大提高了患皮肤癌的机率，随处可见动物和人的尸体，空气中弥漫着绝望的腐臭味……

人类终于害怕了，他们放下了种族与国家的偏见，放弃了敌对与迫害，倾尽了各国之力，终于在欧、亚、美、非四大洲上建起了四座名为“保护伞”的通天建筑。

保护伞的外观似乎并不突出，与人类的早期建筑无二，只是采用了中国古典建筑工艺中最稳固的一种，以至于他在高度不断增加的情况下，不会发生地基不稳的情况。它的建筑一律采用人类最新研发的混合钢，坚硬廉价，且防腐蚀，抗氧化。再加上防爆的感光玻璃隔绝紫外线，倒也能凑合着生活。

唯一让人感到不安的就是，它的高度仍在不断增加……

To begin with, modern lifestyle has contributed greatly to the increasing amount of waste and garbage we produce everyday. In other words, we have turned into a materialistic and mass-consumption society where we use more and throw away more than ever before.
