communicate with other people.

A great deal of communicating is performed on a person-to-person basis by

the simple means of speech.

If we travel in buses, buy things in shops, or eat in restaurants, we are

likely to have conversations where we give information or opinions, receive news

or comment, and very likely have our views challenged by other members of

society.

Face-to-face contact is by no means the only form of communication and

during the last two hundred years the art of mass communication has become one

of the dominating factors of contemporary society.

Firstly, inventiveness has led to advances in printing, telecommunications,

photography, radio and television.

Secondly, speed has revolutionized the transmission and reception of

communications so that local news often takes a back seat to national news,

which itself is often almost eclipsed by international news.

No longer is the possession of information confined to a privileged

minority.

In the last century the wealthy man with his own library was indeed

fortunate, but today there are public libraries.

I remember once upon a time, when I was running 800meters, I felt there

seemed to be the impossible mission for me, I wanted to give up, then my teacher

told me that I should not think about the 800meters, I should set up 100meters

In the afternoon, we went to see monkeys, pandas, snakes and big sharks. And I took many photos from them. I also rode a horse and painted a mask for fun.

When we back home, it almost got drak. But I’m very happy, because I had a good time at the zoo that day

小时候哭着哭着就笑了，长大后笑着笑着就哭了。小的时候，总想赶紧长大，让自己独立起来，因为觉得自己长大了就会获得很多的自由，但长大之后，才知道成长的路上要经历很多的困难与挫折。 When I was a kid, I cried and laughed. When I grew up, I smiled and cried.When I was young, I always wanted to grow up quickly and make myself independent, because I felt that I would get a lot of freedom when I grew up, but when I grew up, I learned that I had to experience a lot of difficulties and setbacks on the way to grow.

上小学一二三年级时，我在一个寄宿制的学校上学，十二天才能回一趟家，所以我经常哭泣，原因就一个想家，想爸爸妈妈。但是当老师给我一只棒棒糖告诉我不要想家时，我又突然笑了。哎，小时候就这样，哭着哭着就笑了。

读六年级时，我换了一个学校，在那里我拼命的学习，真的如那句名言:皇天不负苦心人，我很幸运的考上了全县最好的初中，当我收到录取通知书时，我特别的喜悦，那种喜悦是我从未体验过的，在那时，我体会到了成长的喜悦，我告诉自己，我没有辜负自己的六年，我快要成为一个初中生了。就在我高兴的大笑时，我又突然想哭，或者这就是长大的一种表现吧。

初中生活并没有向我想象的那样美好，毕竟是全县最好的初中，老师对我们的要求可谓是严上加严，说一句不夸张的，这个学校被外人称作“地狱”。但让我最头疼的是我的学习成绩。

初中和小学学习的内容很不一样，不仅量变的多了，而且难度也增大了很多。另外小学的时候基本上只有期中和期末考试，但是初中是五天一小考，十天一大考，再加上还有月考，期中和期末考试，我觉得自己很迷茫，我再也找不到小学的那种成就感了，每天晚自习下课回宿舍的路上，我都会偷偷的抹眼泪，我无时不刻不在担心着考试，那时候我也明白了成长是要经历很多烦恼的。

也去成长就是这样吧，既有喜悦，又有烦恼。

这一天我们家有点不一样，选择去田地里收花生。有的人可能会觉得这是一件非常累的事情，但我们感到非常开心，这是为什么呢?现在，就让我从头到尾给大家讲一下吧。

我生长在城市，对庄稼一无所知，妈妈为了让我认识庄稼，体验农民的不易和劳动的快乐，今年春天，妈妈特意让她同事给了我们家一块田地种花生，我们也像农民伯伯一样进行了耕田和播种。花生发芽以后，爸爸妈妈经常带我去给花生浇水、除草。

夏天里的一天，我和爸爸妈妈再去除草时，发现花生地里的草比花生长得还茂盛，我们顶着炎炎烈日，赶紧把草一棵一棵拔得干干净净。看着田地里满眼绿油油的花生苗，我们笑了，花生似乎也笑了。

终于到了秋天，到了花生收获的季节，我们一家人利用中秋节放假的机会，迫不急待地来到花生地里收花生。爸爸用铲子把花生从田地里铲出来，我和妈妈用手把花生的果实从它的根部一颗一颗地摘下来。哇，让我们没有想到的是，最终，竟然摘了满满一大袋花生，全家人心中别提有多高兴了，这可是我们亲手栽培的果实呀，每个人脸上都写满了丰收的喜悦。
