一天，小汪和小白路过一家镜子店，就决定去照照镜子，认识一下真正的自己。它们进了镜子店，小汪来到了一面凹镜前，而小白站到了一面凸镜前。小汪一抬头，只见镜子中的自己高大、强壮，显得十分威武。小汪心里又惊又喜，心想：原来我长得这么高大强壮啊！我还不知道呢！想到这里，它高兴地转起圈来。小白往镜子里一看，吓了一跳，镜子中的自己那么矮小、瘦弱，和只小耗子差不多大！这时它想：我怎么可能只有这点点大？难道我连只耗子都不如！它揉揉眼睛再看，镜子中的它真的只有那么大。小白一下子像泄了气的皮球，低下了头。

自从照了镜子以后，它们完全变了个样。小汪每天趾高气扬地走在街上。它昂着头，挺着胸，嘴里叼着香烟，看见谁都不理不睬的。而小白每天都怕见人，走路把身子缩成一团，还不停地发抖。只要一遇到什么猫呀、狗呀，就吓得赶紧躲起来。

这次照镜子不但没有让它们认识自己，还使它们迷失了自己！唉！
