Everyone should have a belief in his heart about life, beauty, and noble humanity. This is what Gump told me, who is a true man full of courage ,love, and sincerity in my mind.

Life is a box of chocolate and we can never know what it is inside before we open it. Just as Mrs Forrest put it, everyone has a destiny. As for Gump, he was thought to be a perfect fool since he was young. While, after watching the movie, I can not help but admire this young guy because of his braveness to deal with obstacles, his consistence to love and his devotion to friendship. Stupid he might seem to be, Gump gave a meaningful lesson to us who are what called more intelligent people.

Born as a boy with natural defects, Gump eventually accomplished plenty of achievements which we ordinary people can not approach. With a plain thought and natural optimism, Gump just did what he was good at, running as fast as he could, struggling toughly against destiny with all the facilities he had been given. despite i‘ve not in my childhood yet, i still prefer reading fairy-tale stories. the tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. this summer i‘ve review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940. it‘s the world-famous fairy-tale by the french author, antoine de st-exupery, the little prince.

as many other fairy-tales, the outline of the little prince is not very complex. ―i‖, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the sahara. in this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the asteroid b612. the little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. in that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids.

Reading books which can make people understand the author expresses feelings, also can make the person feel the beauty of meticulous and meaningful language, reading, is the mentor of mankind. But knowledge is limited, after all of the book is a must to insight into practice, so the reading practice be short of one cannot, can only be the temple to the ideal complement each other, then knowledge will shine as you shine.

好曲不厌百回唱，好书不厌百回读。初读好书如获良友，重读好书如逢故知。读书是人类精神上的食物是精神的支柱，但是我认为读书实践是缺一不可的。

“纸上得来终觉浅，绝知此事要躬行”。这首诗是宋代诗人陆游的一首诗我认为一个即有书本知识，又有实践经验的人才称的上有学问，一个人如果只有书本知识，那他一定是一个书呆子，而如果一个人只有实践经验，没有书本知识，那他也称不上有学问，所以读书与实践是缺一不可的是相辅相成的。而现代的儿童大部分都是玩电脑看电视，虽然足不出户就可以了解许多事，但是比读书实践可差多了。读书能让人了解作者想抒发的感情。实践能让人了解大自然的奥秘。只有多读书，多实践才是通往知识大殿的金钥匙，到时你就好像插上了两只强健的翅膀，知识的天空任你飞翔，宇宙的奥秘任你探索，到时你就成为了知识的主人。

读书即能使人了解作者所抒发的感情，又能使人感受到细致隽永的语言文字之美，读书，是人类的良师益友。但是书中的知识终归是有限的，要想深入了解必须实践才行，所以读书实践缺一不可，只有相辅相成才能通往理想的圣殿，到时知识才会为你闪烁耀眼的光芒。

The story includes three parts. They are respectively talking about:Gulliverin Lilliput, in Brobdingnag, and in Houyhnms.

Gulliver travels to the South Seas. On their way to the East Indies, a strong wind carried them to the wrong way. Most of the people died. Some days later, he comes to Lilliput, everything is small there. Three days later, he comes to Brobdingnag. This country is opposite from Lilliput, the thing are huge, very huge! Then he travels to a place called Houyhnms, which is also very interesting.

My favorite subject is English,because it is a useful and interesting language.With the 2010 World Expo drawing near, English is certain to be very useful then,as it can help us communicate with foreign guests.Now,in order to improve my English level,I read English 30 for minutes every day.. Also,at school, the teacher will help us to learn new words and explain the English text,and I always listen to my teacher carefully .Whats more, I often do adequent amounts of English exercises to improve my grammar.As the saying goes: no pains, no gains. I believe if I keep working hard both at school and at home,I will have a good commmand of English when the Expo arrive.

We all know that reading has a lot of benefits .First of all,from reading some kinds of extra readings,we can horizon our outlook,we can know this world in a better way.Secondly,as for a student we can rich in knowledge from reading a large number of books ,such as history,geography,physical books.Thirdly,reading can cultivate the habit of thinking which makes us smarter.Reading has a great many of other advantages of course ,it is wise for us to develop the habit of reading.

我们都知道,阅读有很多好处。首先,通过阅读一些额外的阅读,我们可以地平线前景,我们可以知道这个世界上一个更好的方法。其次,作为一个学生我们可以丰富知识通过阅读大量的书籍,如历史,地理,物理书。第三,阅读可以培养思考的习惯使我们更聪明。阅读有许多其他优点当然,明智的做法是让我们养成阅读的习惯。

First of all, reading is not normally read in generalities, but read. So, we want to make a commitment when we read a book, find fun, it can study to achieve the best effect. "Its own gold room in the book, the book has its own treasure to." The benefits of reading are well known, but that is a good book, but our life is not only a good book, choose what book is also an important link, so we not only better reading, also want to read good books. Reading should be combined with life, to life, not light theory, it is also necessary for reading.

高尔基说：“书，是人类进步的阶梯，一语道出了书的深刻内涵”法国哲学家巴罗深有体会地说：“一个爱读书的人，他必定不会缺少一个忠实的朋友，一个良好的导师，一个可爱的伴侣，一个幽婉的安慰者”，这全部道出了读书的真谛。

首先，读书不是平时泛泛地朗读，而是阅读。通过读，分析材料要表达的中心，揭示的道理;通过读，找出材料中最能诱发感慨的方面，及感点;通过读，体会作者要表达的思想感情，尽量使自己的感情与作品产生共鸣，这就是所谓的理解。

并不是光读书就能理解，而是要真正做到以上几点。有些书，我们对它不感兴趣，也是不能体会到它的真谛。所以，我们读书时要全身心的投入道书里，找到乐趣，这才能达到读书最好的效果。“书中自有黄金屋，书中自有颜如玉。”读书的好处是众所周知的，可是那是针对好书来说的，可是我们的生活中并不是只有好书的，选什么书也是一个重要的环节，正所谓我们不仅要好读书，也要读好书。读书要与生活相结合，落实到生活中去，不能光纸上谈兵，这也是读书的必要条件。
