The usage of Internet becomes one of the most controversial topics in the society. As a student, I believe Internet is beneficial to me more than the way it harms me. There are many advantages for using Internet.

First, I can best use my time to find information online instead of going to different libraries. Also, the information can be dated back in decades ago. It is very helpful to use those information as reference and historical proof. In the library, it is hard to find so much "old" information. Another advantage to use Internet is that I can stay home and have a lecture online. It is much more convenience to me because I can stay warm to have class in the winter time instead of spending two hours on the bus and physically attend class. Also, there is a chance that I am cheated because of the Internet purchasing. Last, Internet has lots of information, both helpful and harmful. There might be too much tempatation that I will access some of the harmful information I can on the Internet.Even though the usage of Internet has both positive and negative effect to me, I still consider Internet is a symbol of technology development. I believe I can use the Internet very well as long as I know how to control myself.

In order to make our city cleaner and more beautiful, the young volunteers of our school went to the Peoples Park this morning and offered our help.

At eight, the head of the park met us at the gate. After being divided into groups, we set out to work at once. Some tidied up the parking area and had motorbikes paiked in the right place. Some took care of the flowers and bushes, and persuaded people to keep off the grass. Around the tiger den, one group kept order to prevent accidents from happening. Nowadays playing computer games is a very common hobbies, especially among young people and teenagers. However there are many arguements on whether computer games are advantageous to people or not.

Although many people doubt the advantages of computer games, if used wisely computer games can actually be used in educational purposes, for example typing games to allow students to learn typing English or Chinese. Also another advantage of computer game is that the games may be played together among friends or family members, which may improve the relationship between family members and allow parents to know more about their children on their hobbies and interests.

However computer games if misused can also have very bad effects on human beings. Firstly spending long time in front of the computer screen will bring to various health problems, such as eye sore, back pain and headache. Many people, and children in particular, enjoy playing computer games. While I accept that these games can sometimes have a positive effect on the user, I believe that they are more likely to have a harmful impact.

From an educational perspective, these games encourage imagination and creativity, as well as concentration, logical thinking and problem solving, all of which are useful skills outside the gaming context. This phenomenon has caused much worry from the teachers and parents.

However, some others argue that online games are not always harmful. They can train the ability of youngsters to respond to things quickly. Moreover, they can stimulate their imagination and their interest in computer science. More importantly, it does bring college students much pleasure and release their pressure greatly.

From my point of view, online games are a wonderful entertainment if you play them in a clever way. When they interfere too much with your study, it is better for you to give them up at once. But if you have enough self-control over them, you can certainly obtain real pleasure and benefit a lot from them.

我们都知道，现在科技发达了，就有了网络。网络有许多好处：它是一个资料库，如果有不懂的问题，可以向它请教;当你觉得无聊时，能上网玩游戏、看电影;如果你在别的城市工作，可以上QQ和亲朋好友聊天······可以说，网络是一个百宝箱。

但是，网络也有许多坏处，会把人推进无底深渊。有的人整天跟网络打交道，眼睛受不了，结果导致近视甚至失明;有的人沉迷于网络，学习成绩直线下降;还有的人因为网络走上了犯罪的道路，赔上了自己的性命。

几年前，有三个学生，他们的学习成绩很差，还经常一起去网吧玩游戏。有一天，他们逃课去网吧。他们在网吧玩了两个小时，正当准备离开的时候，突然发现三个人身上的钱一共也只有两元五角。他们想偷偷溜走，可是被网吧的老板逮了个正着。那位老板知道他们只带了两元五角时，非常气愤。于是立刻把网吧里所有的人都赶了出去，关上大门，叫了几个打手，在里面对三个学生拳打脚踢。三个人就这样失去了生命。

同学们，网络是一个乐于助人的天使，同时也是一个逼人走上绝路的恶魔。请大家选择善良的天使，不要浪费美好的花样年华。

如今是信息社会、网络时代。丰富、多样、快捷、共享等都是网络的特点，对于我们来言，最有吸引力的莫过于网络游戏，当然，其中有利也有弊。在网络游戏的虚拟世界中，大多数人都会暂时忘却了现实中的“角色规则”，总想着自己不需要面对现实中的挫折，不需要接受社会规范和他人的督促，可以随心所欲地宣泄情感。这样天长日久后，就会淡忘现实生活规范的要求，对以后发展的路途中，埋下了隐患。

玩网络游戏对我们也有利。玩网络游戏可以锻炼和提高我们的反应能力和是手脑的快速配合能力，可以帮助我们了解电脑、认识电脑、学习电脑，可以令我们得到学习压力的释放和心灵上的放松，可以让我们活得快乐、荣誉和成就感。

有些游戏是开发的源泉，例如：《节奏大师》，锻炼我们对音乐的享受;《开心宝贝》，培养我照顾宠物的能力；《成语大赛》，使我们能在短时间内拼出正确的成语……这样的有利游戏对我们有极大的益处。同时，网络游戏的坏处也是众所周知的一大危害。首先是网网络游戏的所需时间，有很多人都因为网络游戏造成的视觉疲劳，，让自己患上了近视，给自己的眼镜找到了“朋友”——眼镜。我们玩的时间久了，学习的时间自然也变短、变少了，成绩也因此一落千丈。

其次，玩不良的网络游戏会抹黑我们纯洁而美好的心灵。有的人为了达到目标，采用不择手段去达成目标，试想一下，这与教育我们高尚情操根本是南辕北辙，互不相干的。而一个样样底下的人又怎能成为优秀人才呢？网络游戏的害处数不胜数，一些不讲康的网络游戏可能就是让人走向无底洞的“指使者“，身为栋梁的我们，一定要控制和注意。来吧，同学们！为了美好的未来，让自己的人生走得更精彩，一起手拉手，心连心，共同携手当”公益天使“，建新网络游戏终究弊大于利，控制自己，远离网络游戏，就是为自己的未来人生而活。
