No, my height is 1.55 meters long, and I can become stronger in the transverse direction. The weight has reached 90 Jin. I have not even participated in the sports meeting. I think there is a bad habit of writing homework. Its too close to posture. Because my eyes cant bear it. I also become a "four eye family". The doctor told me that I still have a low degree now, it is false myopia, if it is correct posture, pay attention to eye use, or can remove glasses. Oh, good hope, I want to get rid of the bad habit of sitting in the new year, glasses, you wait, I will soon be with you to worship.

My family is about half an hours walk from the school. Before, my mother was not at ease, and I was afraid of wasting time. She was transported by battery car to me, which was neither electricity nor environmental protection. In the new year, Im going to school they go, because this section of the road to school early are familiar with the road, and also met with my classmates, not what to fear; and I do a lot of small cards at home, write English words, can walk in the back, time will not be waste.

Skiing is a desirable activity fro’ young people. It provides the excitement that theyouth is commonly seeking. Often, with split second tinting, they must dodge trees, stumps, and rocks——or find themselves suddenly sprawling in the snow. If they have more than average skill, they can sall through the air in breathtaking leaps and jumps that bring excitement to the onlookers as well. True, there is danger in this excitement, but that is a risk the youth enjoys. Furthermore, skiing is healthful. The best of skiers know that they need strong muscles to successfully control their skis, so they exercise to keep themselves physically fit. Another desirable feature is thecompanionship that usually develops wherever skiers gather. Friendships grow quickly on the slopes and in the usual nearby

shelter where the skiers find food, warmth, and rest. Their experiences of the day and their youthfulness easily draw these people together in happy fellowship.

Dear Sir,

I understand your well-respected college offers a number of places to

overseas students every year, and I am writing to enquire about the application

procedure.

I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been

studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of

Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and

credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are

History, Economics and English Literature. In addition to these subjects, "Use

of English" is also a compulsory subject because a pass in English is a minimum

requirement for admission to most faculties of the University of Hong Kong.

Apart from academic work, I have been actively involved in extra-curricular

activities. I am Chairman of the English Club and I have represented my school

in many inter-school contests.

On the advice of my friends, I have decided to further my studies in

England because I wish to widen my horizons and benefit from the scholarly

heritage of your country.

I wish to continue to study the above-mentioned subjects at your college in

the 2006/7 academic year before I sit the Advanced-level Examinations in

England.

As regards my character, Mrs. Chen, my Principal, and Mr. Huang, my English

master, have agreed to act as my references.

As I come from a family of fairly limited means, I would like to know if

there is any financial assistance available for overseas students.

Attached is a summary of my qualifications for your reference.

I should be grateful if you would kindly consider my application and notify

me of the result at your earliest convenience.

Should you require any further information, please feel free to contact me

or my references.

Yours faithfully,

Lily Chen

One possible version:

The problem of “white pollution” caused by used plastic is becoming increasingly serious, in which plastic shopping bags play an important role. In China about three billion plastic shopping bags are consumed every day, which results in a great waste of resources and heavy environmental pollution. Luckily, The government has put a nationwide ban on the use of free plastic bags, demanding that all stores and supermarkets not provide customers with free plastic bags after June 1. The rule will undoubtedly reduce the use of plastic bags and enhance the awareness of environmental protection. It is highly advocated that we should turn to cloth bags and shopping baskets from now on.

Christmas Day falls on the twenty-fifth of December. It is a very happy day

for many boys and girls .Before the term ends in some schools ,the children act

a nativity or “birth” play, showing how Jesus was born in a stable.

On the twenty-fourth of December, all children are very excited.Usually they

are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready. The

younger children think that Father Christmas will come down the chimney or

fireplace ,so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in.The greedy ones

even hang up a pillow-case or a sack to try to get more presents.Later that

night,Father or Mother will put presents in the sock, and leave others at the

side of the bed.

On Christmas morning, the children wake up very early. Some even turn on the

light at two oclock, and most of them are awake by six oclock although it is

not light in England for another hour or two at this time of the year.Children

look for their presents, and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared. At

about one oclock in the afternoon, the Christmas dinner is brought in.The turkey

or chicken is quickly eaten.Children search in their Christmas pudding for new

coins which are hidden in it.The rest of the day is full of games and eating

until the happiest of all Christmas hollidays comes to an end.

Dear Father Christmas,

So my friend has asked me to write to you... I have to confess its been

hard to know what to say. Mainly because like most adults I feel preposterous

asking anything of you because our time with you is surely done. Now we get our

own presents, control our own fates, take responsibility for our own actions,

and live in the world we have created... so its not for us to turn around and

plead for your help with the environment, the migrant crisis, the NHS,

education, food banks, human rights, fundamentalism and wars. Though God knows

we need all the help we can get with all these man-made problems and more.

And its not that you arent compassionate and full of joy. Youre great.

In spite of you being changed into different colours for corporations and being

bastardised to represent materialism gone mad - despite probably originating in

some season based pagan druid ritual a million thought miles from requests for

spontaneously combusting hoverboards... Kidadults cynically pointing this out

after having their moment of belief in you are wasting everyones precious time.

Because you are not for them. You are for the children. Children who need some

magic in a world where the borders between innocence and responsibility, playful

imagination and cold, adult obstacles are continually shrinking.

This is what Id like to ask you to help with. A little more time for

children to be children. Stretch the moment of magic and playfulness. Distract

them from the realities of a world gone mad so that they can laugh with their

breath rather than sob with their tears. Especially those caring for family

members, or suffering illness, hunger or poverty. Especially those hiding in

buildings as bombs rain down, or being handed shaking with fear or cold into a

boat to escape environmental disaster or war. Please help to light up their

worlds with a moment of joy and hope.

When I think about it youve got it tough this year... And when I really

think about it Im not sure that asking you for a lightsaber and getting one

(not that I ever did by the way) is equatable with controlling the space time

continuum and making the good of childhood last a little longer.

But you do inspire wonder and awe amongst those that write you letters and

go to sleep hoping there might be a new object in their possession come dawn.

You inspire good behaviour and, at least in my memory, some desperate last

minute attempts to redeem bad behaviour so as not to be overlooked. Spare a

thought too for those millions who want to write to you but through illiteracy

cant. Hear their words and help to give them the time and chance to learn how

to read and write so they can better their lives and escape their impoverished

beginnings.

I feel a little sorry for you. And I guess Ive done exactly what I said I

wouldnt... Asked you to help with adult problems and solve some of the greatest

worries we have for our children. I promise to leave some extra port and mince

pies for you!

Lots of love

Benedict
