The Value of Reading Books

People often say that gold and silver are the most valuable things in the world.ButI don‘t think so. In my opinion, to read books is more valuable than anything else.

The old saying "To open a book is always helpful" clearly tells us how good it is to read a book.

Books are our friends. They introduce us different kinds of knowledge. They lead us down the road to success.

Books are our teachers. They teach us troth, science, literature, and philosophy of life. Besides, they increase our knowledge, enlarge our experience,strengthen our character and do many other things which we can not do without them.

Books tell us what is good and what is evil. And only books can tell the good from the bad.

Therefore to read more books is the best policy for our young students.

读书的价值

人们常说金子和银子是世界上最有价值的东西，但我不这样认为。在我看来，读书比任何其他事情更有价值。

“开卷有益”清楚地告诉了我们读书有多好。

书是我们的朋友。它们向我们介绍不同种类的知识，它指导我们沿着成功之路前行。

候老师是我的英语老师，她28岁，我们都很喜欢她。我的英语一开始真的很不好，我怕上候老师的课，当她发现了，她并没有责备我，她告诉我唯一能学好英语的方法就是喜欢上英语，她叫我去看英语电影，这起作用了。候老师是我最喜欢的老师。

我是唐天舜，唐天舜就是我，于20__年在常德某地出生。

幼年的我是十分容易生病的，听妈妈说，我时不时的就高烧40度，还是在夜里，并且一烧就退不下来，弄得医生差点儿就给我判白血病了。但还是让我挺了过来，也许正因为小时候病多，长大后反而没什么病了。

小时候，我也算是十分不用心的人，写作业喜欢拖，每次我写作业时，喜欢边玩边写，结果一次写50个字花了一天，这个“习惯”直到上初中后才改正。

小时候我还干过一件蠢事，那就是偷，一次我的一个朋友和我一起在校小卖部拿了东西没给钱就跑了，没有被抓住，当然也没有受罚。有了第一次，就会有第二次，结果有次被抓了个现场，回家后被狠狠的“教育”了一顿，当然，如果没有那次“教育”，我的人生也许会因此截然不同。

上初中后，我的性格有了几乎翻天覆地的变化，比如我原本喜欢热闹，现在喜欢安静，原本喜欢好动，现在懒得运动，唯一不变的就只有：毅力和脾气。

没有毅力是我最大的缺点，所以我很干净，不是身上干净，而是因为我什么事都可以推得干干净净，虽然我不停在心里说：“明日复明日，明日何其多”，却还是把事都推倒明天，这个缺点我不知怎样克服。

我的脾气，用班上的同学的话来说就是喜怒无常。并且好气好冲动，有一有点就是不记仇，让我发现恨一个人很难。

我妈妈说我像爸，别人说我像外公，我认为我就像我，不像别人。

有这样一个普通的不能再普通的男孩，每个男孩数学都很好，他也同样；每个男孩英语总能考很好，他也同样；可有几点他不同——语文和体育，每个男孩似乎体育都不错——可他不好；每个男孩语文多少都会不好——可他的语文还可以。总而言之，他就是这样普通而又不同的一个男孩。

这个男孩有个特点：自尊心强、不服输——从他幼年时到现在的经历，就可看出。

妈妈送他去上围棋班。入班第一盘棋，他执黑与一个大个子厮杀，棋盘上一片浑沌，黑白交错，杀得天昏地暗，日月无光，但由于缺乏谋略，他大败，自尊心驱动他的泪腺降下“倾盆大雨”。但他并未屈服，而是熟读“兵书”，当然，他也不会仅仅“纸上谈兵”，还要“实战演习”……终于，在一个闷热的夏日，他再战大个子，执白大胜。

转眼间几度春秋，昔日棋场上痛哭流涕的小男孩，如今已成为四年级的小学生了。围棋也不再上，倒是经常听到他的房间里传出琴声。他的老师给他留了一首曲子，要求拉会、拉熟，第一次，他向曲子的挑战失败了，但他花了一个星期的时间，卷土重来，终于攻克了难关，赢得了老师的称赞。

如今，他已经六年级了，学习任务更加紧迫。有一次，老师让他参加一个演讲比赛，他太轻敌，结果却连稿子都背不下来，站到讲台上，他讲得磕磕绊绊，下台时，自尊心的压力又迫使他的眼睛含满了耻辱的泪水……这是他五年级时。时隔大概一年，就是不久前，六年级的他要参加一次演讲比赛，这次他不敢轻视，为了超越自己，他努力地背稿，让妈妈帮他录音，指出错误，他不断地修改，有时甚至不停地一直弄到晚上十一、二点，到了比赛那天，他刚上去有些紧张，但后来，他越来越放松，最后滔滔不绝……下台时，他的眼睛里充满喜悦，不是因为他取得了多好的成绩，而是因为他超越了自己……

那个男孩就是我——自尊心强，不服输。很快就要升初中了，我不知道那时是否会迎来新的挑战……

余姓皇甫，名昕豫，出生于东方之珠，成长于广东顺德。家居东平河畔，余母乃本地人也，父乃湖南人氏。家有一妹，尚幼，未能行走。余今就读于南海实验中学，学业尚可以。平日爱好颇多，难以计数，故不一一列举。

童年尚是美好。有一姨母，甚爱余，善烹饪。每至周末，便宴开两席，邀至亲好友，一饱口福。闻余喜蘑菇，便每每为余烹煮，味美鲜腴，至今难忘。童年记忆之美味，多半为其所留下。余六岁上学堂，仍于周末相聚于姨母家，但不及从前之频繁。入读中学，虽聚少离多，也偶有相聚，其饭食鲜美，不改从前。

童年玩伴甚多，五岁前居旧居，便有邻居伙伴数个，共同嬉戏。后移至新居，倒也有志趣相投者，嬉戏玩闹，乐此不疲。余父有一共事者，其女祉霏与余甚近乎，自幼稚园至中学，皆为学友，与其他学友，也尚有联系。如今在中学，更是结识新友颇多。

初上学堂，余父母崇尚自由生长，多有引导，却鲜少管束。前三年嬉戏时光，学习不甚努力，学业不甚突出。时至四年级，换了新先生，姓张名霞号一横。张先生语言幽默风趣，旁征博引，善激励，余为之入迷，学业一再突破，其教诲，余受益终身。若先生在此，必会推辞“先生”名号。余心中，张先生完胜此名号。

入读南海实验中学前，余母甚焦虑，因闻该校学业繁重，压力甚大，故一再劝说，再三考虑该否报读，却不曾想余与父亲不改初衷。余曰：“既已定，再犹豫，意义何在乎？”余母无言，弃游说，曰：“汝之决心，余深感震撼，亦感自愧不如”。

如今甚喜学校生活，学业繁重，却也活出个滋味，不亦乐乎？

There has been a long time since I came back from Hainan―wowhainan is such a wonderful place that I will never forget it .It‘s really a good place where gave me a rather good impression. I feel so wonderful during the journey as I have experienced a lot of things for the first time.

In January 7th ---the first day of my journey the fluttering snowflakes diffused over Changzhou. I first took the train to shanghai then took the plane to Hainan in Pudong airport. Although it’s my second time to take plane I felt even more excited than the first time. When flying I found that I was flying over the cloud of different types and colors. The sky is also brighter and clearer than that I had ever seen. Soon we arrived in Meilan airport in Haikou the climate is totally different from that in Changzhou It was warm there and we could see coconut trees everywhere.

After 3 days competition I went to BoAo where is famous for its forum. It was my first time to experience the sea and the beach in the sunshine. When sitting on the cruise I could clearly see the ocean waves pushing the windows of the cruise. It seemed that I was surrounded by the waves and the crystal water. I felt as if a fish which had been living in the sea happily. Then we land on the beach. The sand on the beach was so soft that it was cosy to lie on the beach. I tried searching for the shells on the beach but failed. The beach was totally different from what I heard before as there was nothing except footsteps on the beach. In the afternoon I played football on beach and scored a goal with my new friends from all around China. It was really interesting and challenging.

The next day I went to Haikou. I first visited the tomb of Hairui an officer in Qing dynasty who was famous for rectitude. I think he should be the role model of every person. In the afternoon I went to the geological park of volcano. A lot of stones of different shapes came into views. When arriving the top of the park it seemed that the while city was under my view. Also I had seen plenty of interesting and rare types of the plants. I also got into a small hole in the park it is said that the hold was exactly the original hole where maqma came from. But the volcano had stopped from erupting for thousands of years.

I can’t forget this trip not only does it give me a lot of joy knowledge and good memory but also it give me a chance to make friends with people from different fart in China. By enjoying the excellent scenery I think I have fallen in love with this beautiful city. I will cherish this experience.

As we all know， the environmentaround us is getting worse and worse . In

some places we can’t see fishswimming in the river or trees on the hills. Not

only does it affect our lives and health， but also has a great affection in the

future. So I thinkwe must do something to protect the environment. .But what can

we do?

Now green commuting and a low-carbon life are more and morepopular in the

society .For example，we can go to school on foot or by bike ， we can use

shopping baskets notplastic bags when we go shopping and we can use both sides

of the paper when wewrite .

In a word ，if everyonepays more attention to(makes a contribution to) our

environment ，there will be less pollution and our lives will be better.

Free Admission to Parks

To encourage people to go outside and relax, a mounting number of parks offer free admission now. People benefit from it, especially during these tough economic times. With free entry, more people will have the opportunity for affordable vacations for families, taking pleasure in the natural landscape.

Fresh air and landscapes in parks are good for people. However, too many people

flocking into parks might not be so good for the parks.

For example, some visitors leave their garbage behind, which may cause environmental pollution. And people’s barbeques and stamping will also bring damage to the grassland and other greeneries in parks.

As a university student, I’m in favor of free admission to parks. Free entry to parks not only saves people’s expenditure, but also makes things fairer — people like the poor and students can go to parks frequently as well. On the other hand, visitors should be informed to preserve the environment while enjoying the beauty of the nature.

公元2006年7月的盛夏，随着一声响亮的哭啼声，我降临到这个世界上，对于结婚多年无子的父母来说，我的到来给家庭带来了无尽的欢喜和无限的期望。于是他们专门请大师给我取了“婉乔”这一名字，意为“智谋奇略，财丰物盈”。

在父母的宠溺下，我的童年过得无忧无虑，天真浪漫，性格要比现在开朗活泼的多。每逢亲戚朋友办事业时，我都要踊跃上台参与一下，会用稚声稚气的童声高歌一曲或者来一段简单的舞蹈，为赢得了阵阵掌声而陶醉和自豪。

像大多数同学一样，小时候我也参加过很多兴趣班，但随着学业繁重，慢慢就都放弃了。对于我来说或多或少都有一些遗憾。

谈起兴趣爱好，最喜欢的莫过于旅游啦，我从小便秉承“读万卷书，行万里路，”的原则，从很小的时候起。在父母的陪伴下，从山海相连的大连，到拥有“东方夏威夷”之称的椰城三亚，从不同角度感受大海的魅力。从十三朝古都西安，到“人间天堂”的九寨沟在欣赏不同自然风景的同时，也体验不同的风土人情。

升入初中，我有幸成为九班的一员。老师们刚柔并济、认真负责，同学们更是人才济济，各有所长，一向成绩平平的我更感压力甚大，虽然也曾发愤图强，秉烛夜读，但收获甚微，令我徘徊忧伤。但值得欣慰的是，我在班里也交了几位好友，畅谈甚欢，给枯燥的学习生活增添了不少色彩。

希望在以后的学习生活中能够扬长避短，更好地提升自我，更希望在未来的日子中会有所成就。

嗨，大家好，我是来自中国的国宝大熊猫。我是中国特有的动物，是大家公认的好朋友。

我长着一对“黑眼圈”，喜欢穿一件黑白相间的衣服，我觉得这样很酷，很神气，走起路来都精神了不少。我走起路来屁股一扭一扭的，很是可爱。

我的祖先已经在地球上至少生存了800万年了，被大家称为“活化石”。我的祖先是吃肉动物，不过现在我喜欢吃的是竹子。我喜欢吃大箭竹、华西竹等七种竹子。我比别的动物多一根手指，可以帮助我牢牢地抓住竹子，啊呜，啊呜，竹子真好吃！

我是一种很温驯的动物，与别人初次见面时，我总是用前掌蒙面或把头低下，可害羞了。不过，你要是胆敢伤害我的小宝宝，那真不好意思，我可对你不客气了！

我喜欢睡大觉，除了吃东西的时间以外，我几乎都在睡觉。你可别看我似乎不喜欢运动，爬起树来，我都可以和猴子比拼呢！我爬树的时候很灵活，像一阵风似的，可快了！

不知不觉，我已走过十一个年头，童年已经接近尾声。现在我就来回顾一下自己的成长过程。

初生的难忘时光

2000年3月8日上午九点四十二分，伴随着升起的朝阳，一声惊天地、泣鬼神的哭声从洛石化医院中传出。我仿佛是断翼的天使，看到了人间的痛苦，因此不停哭泣，一靠近我就会感受到这如同大海一般深沉的悲伤。我大概一出生就没有安全感，睁着小眼睛扫视着四周，好像怕有贼来偷东西似的。听老妈说，我一出生就不太喜欢动，整天除了吃，就是睡，心特别宽，跟乌龟似的，不过我不太喜欢晒太阳哦。我还不知道，伴随着我的来临，我就要走过一个或精彩、或平凡，但却独一无二的人生。

有点“衰”的幼年

小时候，我真是好吃好玩不好做，天天都喜欢去河阳广场玩耍。那时候我还有一怕——怕打针。家里人都特别奇怪，再苦的中药，再难喝的西药，别人连闻都闻不下去，我却能够吃下去，还一点事都没有，真是稳若泰山。有时候生了病，需要去输液，我也是毫不惧怕。唯一让我恐惧的就是打针了，一听到打针，我立马变得十分焦躁，恐惧感渐渐浮上我的心头，于是开始默念：“阿弥陀佛保佑我，保我度过此劫此难。阿弥陀佛，阿弥陀佛，阿尔卑斯……”

可是，老妈就跟法西斯似的带我去打针。三岁的一天，我又要去打针了，真是泪光涟涟，针还没落下来，我就开始惨叫，跟狼嚎似的。医院里的大小病号们都被我这凄厉的惨叫吓得瑟瑟发抖。最后护士急了，对我阴森森地说道：“小朋友，再闹我就给你多来几针。”我吓得一下闭上了嘴，暗道护士老巫婆。只听“哎呦”一声大叫，不是我叫的，而是护士。原来，我不知深浅的一脚蹬到了护士阿姨。

在我童年时期还发生了一件很悲催的事情。四岁那年我去洛阳婆婆家玩。吃完晚饭了，我给一条狗带出来一根骨头。我拿着骨头顺手扔给了那条邻家的白狗，小狗津津有味地吃完了，还恶狠狠地盯着我。还没等我做什么，这条狗就冲过来对着我的手就是一下。我吓得魂不附体，一脚把白狗踹飞了就跑回家。为此，我还打了五针，防止落下狂犬病。这怕狗就成了我的第二怕。

开心的小学时光

一眨眼，我就六岁了，来到了洛阳市教育局直属第五小学上学。这里的同学都十分热情，我和几位男同学更是打成了一片，甚至结成了“死党”。在小学中，我真是吃嘛嘛香，一切都好。唯有一点倒是令我有点恐惧，那就是女生残酷无情的大追捕。不知道怎么回事，有的女生就是特别喜欢欺负我们。因此一下课，就能看到我们一些男生被女生无情地追捕了。

话说前两天，我和丁一笑正在散步。忽见恶风不善，有一女生袭来。我微笑着对丁一笑说：“同志，这个艰巨的任务就交给你了！”然后，我立刻脚底抹油。哪知道丁一笑同学更是阴险，对着女生高呼：“投降！”然后还指出了我的逃跑路线。我呢，就被女生十面埋伏，忽然从左边冲出一位女生，吓得我拼命逃窜，结果被堵截的女生给堵住，真是惊险极了。虽然有着惊险的事件，但这也丝毫阻碍不了小学成为我的开心时光。毕竟，有那么多热心的同学、有耐心教育我们的老师，这样的时光怎能不快活？

这就是我走过的十一年的生活，相信随着我的成长，我以后我的人生会更加精彩！

I’m writing to tell you how us use computers in our daily lives.Most of us

use computers to search for more information about the interesting problems on

the textbooks, about Iraqi wars and about Oscar. Some of us use computers to do

some drawings, to make up interesting flashes. And some of us use them to play

games. If we are tired and want to take a short rest, playing games for a while

is OK. But it’s forbidden that we spend hours and hours on the games. There is

also someone using computers to talk with people in the Internet and even

falling in love with him or her. The Internet is not a real world and we can’t

tell lies from truths. So falling in love with somebody on the Internet is not

safe and is bad for our study. We should keep ourselves out of it.That’s all I

她，个子高高的，一张普通的脸上有着和普通人一样的眼睛，鼻子和嘴，当然，要是与别人不一样不就成了怪物了吗?她缺点很多，但也不是没有优点;只是优点永远被缺点覆盖，但越是这样，她越是高兴，她因自己缺点产生战斗力，并不断改正、提高。

她很多变，时常骄傲，又时常谦虚的不得了。但这也是有针对性的。对于自己比较擅长的科目，她总会以胜利者的姿态面对，这样的性格使她就像掌拓者一样，掌握的好，她就大获全胜，一切顺利，而掌握不好时，那可就倒大霉了，但不管多少倒霉对她都是无用的，因为在六年的成长中太多的失败使她锻炼成一个不怕挫折，坚强的女孩。都说“男儿有泪不轻弹”，在她这却摇身一变成了“女儿流汗、流血、不流泪。”虽然挺荒唐的，可这却是她向所有人诠释的内心世界。

她爱书。尽管她的书不能存放的崭新如初，但是却绝不会让书受一点磨损，因为她认为书是生命。那是一个小王国，她不忍心让任何一本“王国”发生“战争”。她爱写作，但她绝不会让敷衍的作文出自她笔下，因为这是对自己，对这篇文章，更是对读者最起码的尊重。

她，有自己独特的思想。虽然是班长，但却讨厌别人因为这一职务而讨好自己，因为她认为同窗之间要的是真正的同学之谊，而不是一种威慑。

幼时经历

本人姓李，名嘉诚，属猴，2004年8月7日晚上，我“齐天大圣”降临到这个世界上，来体验一下人间的生活。

听我的父母说，婴儿时期的我曾经做了一件大“傻事”。

那是一个中午，父母出去赚钱，爷爷奶奶在家哄我睡觉。没想到我没睡着，爷爷奶奶却先睡着了。于是我爬出了被窝，来到了妈妈的房间，拿起她的化妆品，然后……

黄昏时分，爸爸妈妈下班回来，只看到熟睡的爷爷奶奶，而不见我的踪迹。爸爸妈妈赶紧唤醒了爷爷奶奶，满屋子地找我。

最后他们找到了妈妈的房间，只见一个涂满化妆品的“小花猫”躺在地上睡着了。

每当看到外婆家的墙壁，我就会想起自己幼年时期做的趣事。

某个下午，外婆在楼下和邻居们聊着天，而我独自在楼上看电视。看着看着，我就有点无聊了，开始搜索新鲜事物。突然，我发现了桌上的一支笔，于是毫不犹豫地拿起笔，在那一片空白的墙壁上增加一些东西。

正当我画得津津有味的时候，外婆上来了。外婆一愣，只见雪白的墙壁上已满是涂鸦，再看看我，满脸乌黑。外婆当时真是哭笑不得。

小学时期的我非常喜欢打篮球，可是由于运动过度，结果扭伤了脚，自那以后，打球的次数也少了许多。

转眼，我的童年就这样结束了，初中崭新的生活正向我迎来。

姓唐，名吉菲儿，正值豆蔻年华。小眼睛塌鼻梁，黑皮肤，实是不标致。生于鹿城，有一美满幸福家庭实乃我幸。父母经商，奔波多年也稍有起色。

公元2011年夏，喜得一弟。自此，收起顽劣，一夜长大，颇有长姐风范。自那时起，接触功夫，欲保护幼弟，兼顾强身健体。

倒推一年，带着喜悦踏入三中，加入九班集体。遇良师梁超乃三生有幸，结识各位同窗亦为吾幸。一年以来，不断成长，啦啦操足球赛绽放自我，课代表班长培养自我。学习成绩仍有提升空间，体育成绩仍需不间断锻炼，闲时仍热衷功夫，每周练习。

舍弟成长，亦愿与吾一同练习，彼此守护。如是而已，只愿两年后成就更好的自己！

Tourism in China

Recent years have seen a tency in China that tourism is growing faster. According to a recent survey made by some experts, about 47% urban resits travel regularly, and 28% rural resits also make their tour across the country. The survey also shows that more people are interested in tourism, and will join the army in the future.

Facing this tency, we can&’t help exploring some underlying factors that are responsible. In the very first place, with the policy of reform and opening up, Chinese people&’s living standard has been greatly improved, and therefore, most of them can afford to travel around. What&’s more, it is believed that people now take a more positive attitude to tourism, and regard it as a life style. In addition, tourism facilities are becoming better and better. For example, transportation develops fast, and many scenic spots are available now.

最近几年，在中国的趋势，旅游业增长较快。根据最近的一项调查显示一些专家认为，约47%城镇居民定期作出旅行，28%的农村居民，也使他们的全国巡演。该调查还显示，更多的人在旅游有兴趣，并会在将来加入军队。

面对这一趋势，我们不能不说是负责任的开发一些潜在因素。在第一个地方，随着改革开放政策，对中国人民的生活水平有了很大提高，因此，他们大多数都不能周游。更重要的是，它相信，人们现在更积极的态度，旅游业，把它作为一种生活方式。此外，旅游设施正在变得越来越好。例如，交通运输发展迅速，许多景点都已经上市。
