Agricultural practices, mainly irrigation, account for 67% of world water consumption. Over one billion people worldwide dont have access to clean drinking water. So it is incumbent upon all to respect every drop of water and avoid the generation of waste.

The greed of human beings is using up the plants and animals. Tigers once roamed over most of Asia and we can only see them in the zoo. We must stop harvesting natural resources to excess and bring them back from the brink of extinction. If we take from the wild we must do it in ways that allow natural populations to recover and last long into the future.

The earth is not the human’s planet, it is our planet. It’s time to take measures to improve the environment for both humans and other creatures. A safe, clean and sustainable environment depends on more than lip service. Both the government and individuals have the responsibility to minimize direct impacts against the environment. All of us can start planting plants in our home, limiting the use of private cars and using public transportations. And the government should impose necessary standards upon the whole society. The beautiful and vigorous earth will come back soon.

We live in the beautiful earth, its a pity that the earth is every day under the various odor, chemical items, poison, carrion, automobile exhaust, living garbage, factories and so on dirty garbage pollution, make our lovely earth gradually degradation. So to protect the environment is the duty of every man.

Plants and trees is human natural oxygen "manufacturer". But the deforestation, the destruction of the ecological balance of nature; Sand dunes to gobble up the fertile land, white; Floods can be our lovely home. Relentless stuff we clear the river becomes cloudy. Dense forests become sparse clutter, the blue sky become dark, green mountains become bald. Mud-rock flow, dust storm, flood... How to protect the environment? First of all, cant litter, saw rubbish pick up, is the environment become clean and beautiful. Second, do not arbitrarily trample flowers and plants trees. To plant trees, a variety of flowers and plants.

Electricity, bring us all kinds of convenience, especially gives us light, lit up the colorful world. But we want to save electricity, because electricity is mostly produced by burning coal. Save electricity is to save from coal, less waste, and only enough storage of coal mining in our country in one hundred years! We think, more than one hundred years later, our children and grandchildren to do? So we should save electricity, the usual lamp, use energy-saving light whenever possible.

如何才能保护环境呢?首先，不能乱扔垃圾，看到垃圾就捡，是环境变得整洁优美。其次，不要任意践踏花草树木。要多植树，多种花草。

电，给我们带来各种便利，特别是给我们带来了光明，照亮了五彩缤纷的世界。但是我们要节约用电，因为电大多是烧煤产生的。节约用电就是节约用煤，少排废气，而在我国储藏的煤只够开采一百多年了!大家想想，一百多年以后，我们的子孙后代该怎么办?所以我们要节约用电，平时的照明灯，尽可能用节能灯。

保护环境，人人有责。让我们从我做起，从现在做起，从身边的点点滴滴做起。

在农村，人们垦荒造田，许许多多的树木就这样失去了生命，然而，这些宝贵的土地有因为使用不当，又被沦为荒田野土。就这样，一大片一大片的土地被荒废了，年复一年，日复一日，昔日那茂密的森林总有一天会一反长态，变成一片另人讨厌的茫茫的戈壁沙滩!

大家应该都知道五河沱湖吧，那儿的生物品种繁多，特别是那儿的大闸蟹，，以个大肉嫩、黄多而倍受人们的青睐。而现在呢，沱湖水面上皆被水藻覆盖满了，水竟然变成了黃褐色!而且湖水中还漂浮的死鱼、垃圾、还有黑乎乎的水草，真是惨不忍

糊涂的人类啊，你们醒醒吧，我们赖以生存的地球已经承受不了了，地球上的森林在急剧的减少，沙漠和荒野却奇迹般的增加。干净的淡水资源在不断的减少，然而，肮脏的臭水河却在不断的增加，难道，这些都是假的吗?

希望人们听我的一句劝告：请不要因贪图利益而砍树，请不要因为贪玩而而浪费水。虽然这些只是一些小事，但是一件件累计起来，就是一件大事。我相信，不久的将来，我们的世界将会变的更加美好。

Last Sunday my father and I went fishing along a river. We found the water so dirty that we could hardly catch fish in it.

A lot of factories along the river always poured their waste water and rubbish straight into the river which made the river water polluted. In this way most of the fish in the river were killed.

If the river water all over the country is polluted like this， no living things will exist in the water. As we all know， environmental pollution does great harm to living things and human beings. Now more and more people have come to realize how serious this problem is. Our government is doing her best to take measures to fight against pollution. We expect that the water in every river will be made cleaner and cleaner before long.

上个星期日我和爸爸一起去钓鱼。我们发现水太脏了，我们几乎不能在它的鱼。

沿着这条河的许多工厂总是把废水和垃圾倒进河里，使河水受到污染。这样，河里的大部分鱼都被杀死了。

如果这个国家的河水都被污染了，水里就不存在生物。我们都知道，环境污染对生物和人类都有很大的危害。现在越来越多的人开始意识到这个问题有多严重。我国政府正在尽最大努力采取措施打击污染。我们期望在每一条河流中的水将在长时间内变得更清洁，更清洁。

As we all know, pollution is harmful to living beings. There are many different types of pollutions in this world. For instance, water pollution, air pollution, noise pollution and so on. Water pollution cause many kinds of disease that have negative effects on human beings, sometimes the diseases will take people’s life away. Dirty air will increase the rate of getting lung cancer. While the noise pollution will cause insomnia. People’s health condition will be damaged.

In my humble opinion, people should take measures to control the pollution. Recently, not only the government, but also individual has taken part in the action of protecting the environment. This is a good sign. Rivers are being cleaned, air is purified, and the people come to realize that the importance of protecting the environment.

However, this is not enough, the problems are still exist. Not all of them have been solved. Some factories are still pouring dirty water into the rivers or give off the toxic gas into the sky. We should know that protecting the environment needs everybody’s effort.
