the option of refusing to hear the sonic boom produced by a supersonic

aircraft-flying overhead; we do not have the option of refusing to breathe

polluted air. Unlike science, progress in technology must be our slave and not

the reverse. The legitimate purpose of technology is to serve peopie--people in

general, not merely some people; and future generations, not merely those who

presently wish to gain advantage for themselves.

We are all familiar with the abuses of technology. Many people blame

technology itself for widespread pollution, resource depletion and even social

decay in general--so much so that the promise of technology is obscured. That

promise is a cleaner and healthier world. If wise applications of science and

technology do not lead to a better world, what else will?

I think all of them have a dream! Maybe this dream is not big, but always give yourself a decision, that is, to complete the dream.

My dream is not for me, for my family. Because in my small time total people in front of my parents always say that their sons and daughters how powerful, a long time. Since I come to college, I feel so excited about the new life. Before I go

to college, I have pictured the wonderful life here, but now I find I have many

problems and the campus life is not as wonderful as I think. I need to adjust my

lifestyle.

In high school, in order to inspire students to study hard, teachers always

picture the amazing life in college, so most students treat college as the

paradise. But when they start the new life, they find the difference between
