My home town is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is

rich in fish and rice.

But in the old days it was a poor and backward little town. Many people had

no work. They lived a hard life.

In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken

place there. The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals,

cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is

greatly improved.

I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard

so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.

近期以来，班上忽然出现了一个专有名词：“嗨，看我的飞铲！”这到底是怎么回事呢？请听我一一说来。

从那以后，班上的走廊里便出现了一连串的飞铲动作：男生互铲；几人群铲，背后暗铲……搞得走廊里鸡犬不宁，人声鼎沸，时不时地传来几声男生的大喝声与女生的尖叫声，最后竟还有人专门拿着摄像机拍他们的飞铲动作，然后再拿给班主任老师看。那时我们班男生真是风光无限，处处都能看到我们活跃的身影，而我这种不爱飞铲的人，只好用来被他们“无情”地铲倒在地，然后和他们一起哈哈大笑。因为老是被铲，所以我最后竟也学上了飞铲，开始了铲别人的乐趣校园生活，天天都笑容满面。

可惜好景不长，一天，班主任老师来到班上，向我们宣布了一个晴天霹雳：“今后，不准再有人做飞铲动作，否则，一律按违纪处理！”此话一出，众座皆惊，男生们异口同声地问：“为什么啊！”老师笑笑说：“因为它很危险，用英语来说就是Dangerous,对吧。”

唉，我们可怜的飞铲游戏就这样结束了，但我相信，新的游戏还将继续下去……

在我的心中有一处美景，那就是黄果树瀑布。

它美在何处呢？

美在震撼。离瀑布很远，轰隆隆的流水声早已传来，吸引着我们疾步向它走去。不久，轰隆隆的声音越来越大，空气也越来越湿润了，我朝着水声飞奔而去，哇，好大的瀑啊！我情不自禁地赞叹道。只见瀑布一泻千里，水声撼动着大地，犹如天河崩塌，我不由自主地想起李白的千古名句飞流直下三千尺，疑是银河落九天。忽然，一阵微风吹来，把空气中漂浮着的小水滴尽数带来，落在游人的头上。衣服上。脖子上，顿时一丝凉意流遍全身，游人无不感觉到舒服。惬意。

美在活力。瀑布飞溅出千万颗水珠，好像一颗颗美丽无瑕的珍珠在天空中飞舞，又想活泼可爱的小精灵在空中蹦跳着。欢笑着，直飞到远方。空中一团团的水雾，在阳光温和的照耀下，显现出一条条五光十色的彩带，在天际间无忧无虑地飞舞。

今天我可真高兴，因为我学会了滑滑板。

前几天，我看到楼下有许多小朋友在玩滑板，他们站在滑板上自由自在的在小区里飞来飞去我羡慕极了，心想，什么时候我也能像他们一样就好了。周末我缠着妈妈给我买了一个滑板，紫色的滑板中间用不锈钢杆连接，轮子上还有彩灯装饰，夜晚还能亮起七彩的光芒，漂亮极了。

傍晚，吃过晚饭，我扛着滑板来到楼下练习，我看到别人都是左脚先踏上板子，右脚点几下地面，飞快的一跳就上板了，随后身子轻轻扭动。我也学着他们的样子，一跳，没想到刚上板我就失去了平衡，摔了一个大跟头，腿都磕破了，我疼得龇牙咧嘴。忍着疼痛我又试了几次，都失败了，看起来容易没想到学起来这么难，整整一晚我都没有学会上板。我快泄气了，妈妈走过来心疼的说：不要心急，喝点水休息一下，学什么都要有个过程，慢慢学。妈妈扶着我转了几圈，在妈妈的鼓励和帮助下，我一遍又一遍的学习上板，一遍又一遍的摔跤。两个膝盖都磨破了。晚上疼得睡不着觉。但是我不灰心，我下定决心一定要学会滑板！

第二天，一大早，我写完作业，又来到楼下苦练，这次我不着急上板了，而是坐在板上一边休息，一边偷偷观察别人是怎么上板的，看了一会记住要领，我来到一面墙边，用手扶着墙慢慢练习，一整天就这样很快过去了，我终于有了一点进步，能用手扶着墙跳上滑板，轻轻往前滑一小段路了。这个进步让我非常高兴。

接下来的几天里，我每天晚上都要到楼下练习。慢慢的，我可以不用扶墙在马路上轻松上板，并且能向前滑行一段，只是还不能很好的掌握平衡。一天晚上，我正在练习，一个小孩飞快的跑过来，我急中生智，灵巧的躲了过去，竟然没有掉下来，我高兴极了。不知不觉我居然能很好的掌握平衡了，我终于学会滑滑板了。

通过这件事，我明白了一个道理：学什么都要有耐心，遇到困难不要灰心丧气，只要坚持勤学苦练，就一定能够成功。

从那以后在小区里，每天都能看到我快乐的身影，我滑着我心爱的滑板在小区里自由自在的飞来飞去，像一只灵巧的小燕子。我真想大声呼喊：我学会滑滑板了！

In recent years our life is becoming better and better. But our environment is becoming worse and worse. Its very bad for our life. Now many people have air-conditioners and cars, they produce (give off ) waste gas. More and more trees are being cut down. There are so much sand on the earth (leaving only sand ) . We often see factories pour waste into rivers or lakes. Water in the river is quite dirty. We havent enough clean water to drink in cities. Now we are in danger. Its very necessary and important to protect the environment well. 今天我在玩时，突然发现有一只绿乎乎的东西在爬动，我以为是蚱蜢，急忙去捉，可细细一看，原来是只螳螂。

这只螳螂个头有一寸长，样子很可爱，它有苗条的身材，朴实而优美的服饰，细长的颈上顶着一个能四面转动的锥形的头，头上有一对丝状的触角，额下长着一对褐色的利牙，扛着一对有力的锯齿形“大刀”。它的腹部是嫩绿色的，被浅绿色裙纱似的长翅覆盖着，腹部前方便是四条细长而灵活的腿，能曲，能伸，对捕食很有利。

我查过资料，螳螂是有益的昆虫。它最喜欢吃害虫。我特意捉来一只飞蛾放在它的面前。起初，它用“大刀”碰了碰飞蛾，然后退一步，觉得没有危险后，猛地一扑，用“刀”死死地夹住蛾子，飞蛾紧蹬后腿，拼命挣扎，螳螂一口咬住，死不松口，待蛾子动不了时，就狼吞虎咽地吃起来。它吃食物挺有趣，先把蛾子最肥美的胸部吃掉，然后再吃头，不一会儿，就只剩下两片翅膀了。

Failure exists in every stage for everybody. As students, I think the most

common failure would be failing in the exam. Yes, I have failed in the exam for

many times. It is very common, because on one can keep the name of

ever-victorious generals forever. But some students do not figure out this. When

they fail in the exam, they need a long time to recover, even have directly

negative effect on their inner heart. This is not the right way to deal with

this problem. We need to figure out the reason why we don’t do well in the exam.
