The Spring Festival is our traditional festival, people called the Spring Festival, Chinese New Year. In my hometown of chaozhou, there are some special New Year customs.

春节是我国的传统节日，人们把春节叫做过年。在我的家乡潮州，过年就有一些特别的风俗。

在除夕之前，人们都要忙着四件事：谢神、备料做粿、扫舍和买年货。潮俗，每年冬至过后，家里要谢神。备料做“红桃发粿”。是将大米和糯米分别浸于水中几小时，使米质松疏，捞干后于石臼中打成细粉，晒干。这就是做“红桃法粿”的主料。扫舍要选择吉日，是一件不寻常的事。是日，各家主妇最忙，把屋子的里里外外打扫干净，对一些长年少用之物都要清洗。

十二月二十四日，就是传说中的“神上天”之期。是日，家家户户都要拜“糖桃”。一方红纸，上面用软糖摆成一粒桃子的形态，成为“糖桃”。此物沾住“杜王爷”的嘴，让其“上天说好话，落地保平安”。过年还要拜“老爷”，也就是祭神。祭神的祭品有三样：“红桃发粿”、“鼠壳粿”、“菜头粿”。“红桃发粿”就是用绿豆去壳，然后把豆磨成粉，接着蒸熟，做粿馅料。“菜头粿”就是萝卜糕。

过年祭祖，要到除夕日下午。过年，家里已成年有收入的小辈，要给长辈送“压岁钱”，长辈也要对未成年的小辈给“压岁钱”，户户如此，体现了尊老惜幼的美德。

在正月里，潮汕地区都游神祈福的活动，就是把庙里面的神座抬到大街上游行，人们要放鞭炮、烧香、接福。这就是潮州春节的习俗。

一年一度的《春节联欢晚会》播出了。为什么是一年一度的《春节联欢晚会》呢?因为一年只有一次春节，春节只有一个晚上，就好像清明节、国庆节、中秋节都只有一天，而且只有一个晚上。我爸爸妈妈都会在这一年一度的春节的晚上看《春节联欢晚会》，所以我也看了《春节联欢晚会》。

《春节联欢晚会》上有很多名人，有刘谦、有“毕老师”、有董卿……他们各有各的职责：有的主持节目，有的表演魔术，还有的唱歌跳舞说相声……其中，我最喜欢刘谦表演的两个神奇的魔术。

刘谦在《春节联欢晚会》上一共表演了4个魔术，第一个是：在一个杯子里放一个球，然后再放一个球在口袋里，然后取出杯子里的球，让其中一个嘉宾猜猜看，本来杯子里的球在刘谦手上还是杯子里?当然，嘉宾们永远的不会才对的。然后，又问另一个嘉宾，原本口袋里的球是在杯子里还是在口袋?当然，这个嘉宾也是永远都不会才对的。接着，刘谦取出杯子里的球，在杯子里变出了一个橙子，然后取出那个橙子，于是又变出了一个苹果。

第二个魔术是：现在一张空白的扑克牌上面写上“刘谦”，再将卡片上下对调，并且照在镜子前。于是慢慢地，卡片上的“刘谦”开始缓缓的移动，知道反过来为止，也就是镜子里面的那张扑克牌就慢慢地左右对调，上下对调：卡片上的“刘谦”左右反过来了。

第三个魔术是：先将一杯咖啡倒进一杯装有冰块的杯子里，接招放在镜子前面，然后拿出一根吸管，对准“镜子里的冰咖啡”开始慢慢地喝起来，于是，吸管里就有了咖啡，而那个装有冰咖啡的咖啡杯里面的咖啡被刘谦慢慢地喝光了。

第四个魔术是：先把一个黄色的好吃的点心放进一名镜子里，接着盖上一层布，然后刘谦吹一口气，镜子前面的布就突出来一块!接着又吹了一口气，然后将镜子前面的布拉开——镜子中竟然伸出了一只手，还拿着一个红色的好吃的点心。——刘谦把点心拿了出来，又不知道从哪里忽然变出了一朵玫瑰花放进了“鬼手”的手心中，然后用布盖上，又吹了一口气，于是“鬼手”又消失了。

这一次的《春节联欢晚会》还有其他许多精彩的表演，说也说说不尽，真好看!

一会儿，我和妈妈到了外婆家，我看见外婆，连忙走过去说：“外婆，祝你健康长寿。”外婆笑了，摸摸我的头说：“你真懂事，真有礼貌。”说完，外婆从口袋里拿出一个红包给我，我双手接红包，高兴地说：“谢谢你外婆。”然后我和表兄弟表姐妹们去玩，妈妈和爸爸进外婆家的房子里聊天。我们去外婆的空地去玩放鞭炮，我还带来了一架赛车，我控制赛车一边跑一边叫，一不小心摔了一跤，逗得表兄弟、表姐妹捧腹大笑。直玩到中午，吃了团圆饭才回家。我对爸爸说：“今天我玩得很高兴，还逗得表兄弟、表姐妹捧腹大笑呢，今天我很高兴。”

啊!过年可真好呀，我喜欢过春节。
