efforts to preserve intangible heritages because, without their physical form of

existence, they are in greater risk of extinction.

According to UNESCO’s Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible

Cultural Heritage (2003), all forms of social customs and habits, folklore,

performing arts, rituals, oral traditions, festivals, traditional crafts and

various knowledge and practices about nature and universe can be classified as

intangible cultural heritages. As a country consisting of a great diversity of

ethnic groups and with time-honored history and civilization, China abounds in

intangible cultural heritages. Cultural heritages connect modern people with the

historical past, allowing them to acquire a cultural and historical identity.

Without cultural heritages, we would be rendered absolutely rootless and we

would find it hard to cope with challenges at present and in the future.

However, the modernization process poses mounting threats to intangible

heritages. Many people have a blind faith in the latest electronic devices. It

is also pathetic to see elderly people in possession of such legacies pass away

without transmitting them to the younger generation. Faced with those

challenges, we should both preserve and renovate our ancestral heritages so that

we can help contribute to the cultural diversity of the world and return to our

spiritual homeland in this age of impersonal science and technology.

Your enthusiasm, your both hands, can help others ; Your sincerity, your smile, can move others ; Your compliment, your blessing, can reciprocate others ……This, are all what you should do . Because you are accepting others help all the time , you should reciprocate them. No matter the friend or enemy, no matter the one that is familiar w-ith or strange one, whether he is a rich man or beggar. Help to be not to choose the target , choose time , choose the place. Go , make others warm with heart of you , g-o , help others with hand of you , go , persuade someone else with your action. This is what you should do . I like to see American TV series so much, because not only the plot

attracts me so much, but also I can learn the English spoken language. Recently,

I fall in love with Two Broke Girls, it is so funny and makes me laugh happily.

Besides the humorous plot, I am also inspired by the characters’ spirit. Though

the two girls are poor and work as the waitress in the small restaurant, they

never give up their dreams. They make the plans for their dreams, even they meet

all kinds of difficulties, they are still positive about their future. I learn

things from them, I keep the positive attitude towards life.

my holiday was very wonderful.and it was very busy. in the morning.i went to the park with my parents.im very happy. at noon.i went to the restaurant with my parents. the food was very delicious. in the evening.i was watch tv.then i did my homework.last,i went to bed at10 oclock.

oh! it was winter holiday. i was very happy. i read my favourite books. i have many wonderful books. but i could not read these books too much. i also had a lot of homework to do. i like playing computer games, too. it”s very interesting. but i could not play it too much. i wear glasses, i”m very sad. it”s not good for my eyes to play computer games too much.
