枣树是倔强的。记得小时候，有一年冬天，我和妈妈去姥姥家。那时候的冬天冷到大地都被冻裂，那时候也没有可以防寒的羽绒服，无论老少，从头到脚都是棉帽、棉袄、棉裤和棉鞋。另外，那时候也没有自行车，所以“11路公交车”是最普遍的交通工具。走在乡间的羊肠小路上，周围没有什么可以欣赏的风景，因为田地里没有任何庄稼，望向远方，只能看到远处的静寂的村落。突然，矗立在地里的枣树让我怦然心动。它们一动不动地屹立在寒冷中，就像守卫这家园的士兵，傲然站立。我禁不住驻足多看了它们几眼。人，一定要像它们一样坚强地活着，即使环境无比恶劣，我们也要坚守，坚守到来年的花开。

过去家乡有很多枣树，所以家里有枣木做成的小板凳，很结实。有一个枣木板凳，板凳面中间有一个圆圈，那是用来纺线的，已经用了多年，我奶奶那一代人就用。现在回到家，我们还能安心地坐在它的上面，还是多年前的样子，很亲切，仿佛过去的生活又回来了。

秋天，枣树上挂满了枣儿。枣儿稍微有一点红的时候，小孩子就开始摘食。那时候的枣儿又甜又脆，也不打药，也不抹甜蜜素，也不抹让它们变红的添加剂。“七月十五枣红圈，八月十五落枣杆”。到了打枣的时候了，家长扛着很长很长的杆子，小孩子背着筐儿。大人打枣，小孩在地上捡枣，一会就一筐，一会就一堆，有些调皮的男孩甚至在枣堆里打滚。一堆堆的枣装在袋子里，运到家里，背到房顶。站在房顶上，四周一望，家家户户房顶上都是红通通的枣，真让人陶醉。

现在，回到家乡，地里没有一颗枣树。可能人们嫌弃它影响其他农作物的产量，可能枣树使联合收割机作业时不顺畅，也可能……不知何故，枣树从家乡的地里消失了。
