我首先介绍一下美丽的云山吧，云山由七十二峰组成，以云闻名。山中云彩四时各异，步云亭如履云中，观云台观云海日出，山中云彩伸手可摘，云姿变幻无穷，美不胜收。走进云山，一棵棵郁郁葱葱的树木挺立着，像一位位战士守卫着我们的家园。绵绵起伏的山上，流着淙淙的溪水，如果你阴天上云山，你就会看到云雾缭绕，云一会儿从你的头上飘过，一会儿从你的脚下穿过，它们好像是有什么急事似的。山上的景色若隐若现，让你感觉如在人间仙境一般。夏天，这里可是个避暑的好地方，溪水淙淙，脱掉鞋子，把脚浸入溪水中，冰凉冰凉的，让你觉得好舒服。如果口渴了，喝口溪水，又凉又甜。

云山的景点很多，我最喜欢的是“水帘洞”，洞里的瀑布一泄而下，让人想起李白的诗句“飞流直下三千尺，疑是银河落九天”，洞中雕刻的猴子千姿百态，有的叉着腰，向远处张望，像是在看美景;有的用手遮住头，好像是怕太阳晒;有的目不转睛地望着瀑布，像是对瀑布的赞美;还有的看着山，好像是在说：“云山真美啊!”洞中的水从上而下，鱼儿在水中欢快的游着。

我的家乡休闲娱乐的地方也不少，我最喜欢的是武冈新广场。听爸爸说，这可是邵阳西南五县最大的广场，广场的四周种满了花草树木，枝繁叶茂，像一把把绿色的大伞，为我们遮风挡雨。一走进广场的大道，只见大道两旁的路灯上挂着美丽的中国结，像一排排卫士护卫着我们的家园。广场的正前方是一个宽阔的舞台，台子上有一个很大的电子屏幕，介绍武冈的水土风情。舞台的正对面是一个升旗台，竖立着三根银光闪闪的旗杆，红旗飘扬。以舞台与升旗台为轴线，两边对称地竖立着十六根汉白玉石柱，一排十二根汉白玉石柱上雕刻着栩栩如生、活灵活现的十二生肖图，另外四根柱上分别雕刻着：古老的城墙、历史悠久的宣风楼、山清水秀的云山、有名的铜鹅。

夜晚的广场热闹非凡，有爷爷奶奶、叔叔阿姨在跳舞，还有的在打羽毛球和乒乓球。这里也是孩子们玩耍的好地方，你瞧，大哥哥、大姐姐在那里玩打气球比赛，小弟弟、小妹妹坐着充气车，相互追逐着，不时发出一阵阵欢笑声。

最后，我给大家介绍一下武冈的美食，武冈是中国的卤菜之都，美食卤菜是武冈的特色，有卤铜鹅、卤豆腐、卤牛肉、卤猪耳等，还有武冈风味小吃：南门口的米粉、水南桥的米豆腐、旱西门的蕨粑粑、骧龙桥的油炸粑、高庙下的发糕等。

这就是我可爱的家乡——武冈。
