Australia is one of the famous Oceanian country. The country is famous for its wool production and seashore tour. As the climate there is warm and comfortable, many people spend vocations there every year. I’m a super fan of water entertainment, so I choose it as my destination.

In Australia, the sky is bluer than blue, the clouds are whiter than white, all the local people enjoy an optimistic and active life. They also show their kindness and enthusiasm to the tourists.

The first step should be Sydney Opera which is among the most brilliant and splendid architectures in the world. Many world-class plays are put on in it .The surface and shape of it is like a seashell with glory decorations inside.

Then Melbourne is a good choice to be as the next step. In Melbourne, skin screen is a must to take with as the sunshine is upset and may burn your skin. The most attractive thing to me is the Australia Open, which is one of the biggest world-class tennis competition. Many great players such as Roddick Federer and its local player Hewitt etc. gather to compete. It’s really a feast for the eyes.

Australia is also home to one of the most challenging and exciting surfing and diving projects. As we know, it is always called “a country riding on the back of sheep”. From the interesting saying ,we can know something about the rich wool-production country. If you love animals, kangaroos and kaolas are good company to you .

So don’t forget Australia when you plan a trip.

Today, more and more young people are crazy about western festivals. When western festivals come, they usually go to restaurants or shopping malls to have fun.

如今，越来越多的年轻人都对西方的节日着迷。当西方节日到来的时候，他们常常去餐厅或是商场娱乐。

Why do the young enjoy western festivals so much? Since they worship everything new, and they can’t resist the temptation. In their opinions, western festivals symbolize the fashion, while our Chinese traditional festivals are out of date. No wonder we always feel so boring during our traditional holidays. If we still turn a blind eye to our traditional festivals, our culture and civilization will disappear someday. Accordingly, it is high time for us to pay close attention to our Chinese festivals.

为什么年轻人这么喜爱西方节日呢?大抵是因为他们喜爱新鲜事物，抗拒不了诱惑。在他们看来，西方节日代表着时尚，而中国传统节日则太土了。这也难怪我们也觉得我们的传统节日太过无聊了。如果我们对传统节日漠然置之，那么某天我们的文化文明终会消失。因此，我们该多多关注我们中国自己的节日了。

As a Chinese, we have the obligation to protect our culture and custom. So I think we should celebrate our Chinese festivals by doing some traditional activities. As for western festivals, we needn’t to be too excited about them. We can just send our best wishes to our best friends during those festivals.

作为一名中国人，我们有责任保护自己的文化习俗。所以我认为应当在庆祝中国传统节日时候举办一些传统活动。而对于西方节日，我们不需要太过激动。在这些节日里我们应该只需简单的送上祝福就好。

My hometown is abundant, beautiful scenery, known as "prairie pearl", this place is beautiful in Inner Mongolia. It is a prairie town, though not nearly as great cities, like Beijing and Shanghai but with rare there is clean and beautiful. There are famous aobao mountain, the mountain have past temple, as if in a tin to introduce people to the history of the event. The grassland here is the most beautiful, green grassland, vast grasslands dotted with white sheep, herdsmen riding a horse on the grass singing aloud, all of which constitute a beautiful picture in the grassland. The herders in here are friendly and hospitable, honest is good, whenever a guest comes, they will take out the most delicious dairy products, entertaining and delicious koumiss, and grassland peoples warm wishes. The spring snow melt, all things recovery, everywhere a vibrant scene. The hot sun hot summer here, the water dried up; And the tall trees, leaving only a shade of such as cover, let people try to have a rest. The autumn grass fair here, the tea fragrance, golden leaves like a butterfly dancing in the woods. Here in winter snow, snow mountains everywhere and a piece of white. The children snowball fights, make a snowman and play with joy.

我的家乡物产丰富、风景秀丽，被人们称为“草原明珠”，这个地方就是美丽内蒙古。它是一座草原小城，虽然比不上北京、上海那样的大城市，但却有着那里难得的洁净与美丽。这里有远近闻名的敖包山，山上有一座座古庙，仿佛在向人们介绍锡林浩特的历史。这里的草原最美丽，碧绿的草原一望无际，草原上点缀着洁白的羊群，牧民在草地上骑着骏马放声高歌，所有的一切构成了草原上一幅美丽的画卷。这里的牧民热情好客、淳朴善良，每当有客人来临，他们就会拿出最美味的奶食、可口的马奶酒招待客人，并且献上草原人民温暖的祝福。这里的春天冰雪融化、万物复苏，到处一片生机勃勃的景象。这里的夏天烈日炎炎，水干涸了;还有那高大挺拔的树木，只留下一片如盖的绿荫，让人们纳凉休憩。这里的秋天水草肥美，奶茶飘香，金黄的落叶像蝴蝶一样在林间飞舞。这里的冬天白雪皑皑，到处银装素裹，一片洁白。小朋友们有的打雪仗，有的堆雪人，玩儿的不亦乐乎。

这就是我的家乡——美丽的内蒙古。

Newspapers and websites are two major new media in the world today, both of which can provide us with lots of news and information. But they’re different in some ways.

Newspapers enjoy a longer history and often come out daily with more reliable news and information. They can be carried and read almost anywhere you like. So many people like reading them. But they can only contain texts and photos.

On the other hand, websites are quite new and popular, especially among young people. Websites have not only texts with pictures but also audios and videos, which makes stories more interesting. What’s more, they are updated from time to time. So the latest news is always seen on websites instead of in newspapers. But it is not quite convenient for people without a computer connected with the Internet to get information from websites.
