成吉思汗

Genghis Khan, "Khan of Khans", was the great leader of Mongolians. At the

end of 12th century, he united Mongolian tribes and challenged other powers to

expand his huge Mongolian empire, which extended from South China to the Caspian

Sea.

In 1277, Khan attacked the West Xia Kingdom (presently Ningxia) and

encountered strong resistance. He died of disease and age. The great emperor was

later buried secretly according to Mongolian custom. It says that after the

burial 2,000 men were slaughtered by some 800 soldiers who were in turn executed

so that the location of the real tomb remains a secret.

There are four sacrifice ceremonies held annually to commemorate the great

hero and leader of the Mongolian people. The ceremony, held on March 21st on

lunar calendar, is the grandest. After the ceremony, horse racing, archery and

wrestling are held as entertainment.

English is a very improtant subject，so we are going to learn English very

Today, early in the morning, I go out of my house with my grandma. She

walks to the square and then dances with her friends. The sky is so clean and

beautiful. The sun is shining with red color. The scenery catches my attention.

Dear President,

I’m a second year student of your university writing to tell you about my

humble opinions of the learning environment in our school.

Although we’re enjoying the modernized buildings equipped with advanced

computers sufficient lights and well-installed desks and chairs we do find it

hard for us to concentrate on study when we’re in the classrooms. For one thing

the annoying noise made by the vans and cars disturbs our studies. For another

the classrooms which are supposed to be used for self-study are unavailable for

they are usually occupied for meetings by various kinds of associations.

Faced with such a hard nut we should find ways to crack it. I suggest that

our school should construct some special lanes for the traffic and provide

associations with specific rooms to have their meetings in order to provide a

better learning environment for us.

时光荏苒，岁月如梭。在那个初秋我与你相识，转眼间六个年头过去了，我与您又将在栀子花盛开的盛夏分别。在这个毕业季里又有许多您的孩子将与您分别，我就是其中的一员。与您分别，我是那么的不舍，但是我又无法改变这一事实，所以我想把想对您说的话都在我的指尖流落，说与您听。

从第一天走进校门口，时至今日，映入眼帘的是那看了数百次却又看不厌的几个大字─瑞安市马鞍山实验小学，我以是您的其中一员而倍感骄傲。

进入校园，首先看到的是那高大的综合楼，不知道您还记不记得我在那里上了上百次的多功能课，在那里玩了不知多少次捉迷藏，给我的童年生活留下了许多难忘的时光。

穿过地理园，来到了一至四年级的教学楼，在那里不仅有朗朗书声，还有欢声笑语，并不会感到一丝紧张的气氛。中间的趣园是我以前与好朋友嬉戏打闹的地方，也是我第一次参加冬令营玩真人CS的地方，那次我真的很高兴，也感谢您给了我参与的机会，让我增长了见识。

在教学楼的旁边便是操场，在操场上有多少次我因嬉戏打闹而在那摔倒，可每次您仿佛告诉我：“一定要自己坚强的站起来，不要老想着会有人来帮你，这样你以后就再也无法自己站起来了!”是您的话鼓励了我，使我勇敢地站了起来，感谢您!

往前走便是体育馆，您知道吗?我去那里搬椅子的次数要比在那里上体育课的次数还要多。我在那里流过汗，也曾抱怨过，但尽管如此，我依旧很喜欢这个地方，您让我体会到劳动的辛劳，让我懂得要尊重劳动成果。

再往前走就是教导处所在的办公楼了，我曾在那里上过一年的社团课，尽管我并不是很喜欢那个课，但我还是坚持学完，感谢您让我懂的学习知识要全面性。

教导处的南边就是五六年级的教学楼，那里与整个校园的气氛截然不同，那里每年都要经历一场没有硝烟的“战争”，毕业班的竞争十分的激烈，大到整个瑞安市的竞争，小到同学之间的你追我赶，到处都能闻到一丝丝“战火”的气息。

六年与您相伴的日子里，您教会了我知识，教会了如何做人与处事，让我从一个懵懂的小孩成长为一个懂事的少年。我走遍了母校的每一个角落，在这六年里留下了许许多多美好的童年回忆。

The Stilwell Scholarship she founded helps support deserving students from China who have come to the Monterey Institute to pursue professional degrees in translation and interpretation, international policy studies, language teaching and business management.

Liu Kai is my classmate. He is a good student and always ready to help

others.

One day on his way to school，he saw a little girl crossing the road. A car

was coming towards her quickly and the girl was too frightened to move. The car

nearly hit her. Just then LiuKai rushed up to her and caught her by the arm. The

little girl was saved. She told him where she lived，and he took her home. When

LiuKai hurried into the classroom，the teacher had already begun his lesson. He

There is a lovely teacher in our class. We like him as our friends. We
