Wuthering Heights is a well-written tragedy of love. After reading the whole story, I would like to talk about the main characters of the story—Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff. 著名作家海明威在《老人与海》中塑造的那位老人就是一个敢与失败作斗争的例子。

《老人与海》主要讲了一位名叫桑地亚哥的老渔翁一次特别的打鱼经过。在连续八十四天没有打到一条鱼后，但在第二天，他非常幸运地捕获到了一条巨大的大马林鱼。那条马林鱼是他平生捕到的最大的一条鱼，那条鱼比他的小船还要长2英尺呢!马林鱼的身体大，力气自然也大。它拖着老人和小船在海上漂流了两天两夜。老人在这两天两夜中经历(了)从来没有经历过的艰难考验。大马林鱼在大海上奋力挣扎，企图逃回大海。老人为了制服马林鱼，精疲力竭，皮开肉绽，但他并没有向大马林鱼屈服。他凭着顽强的意志，终于把大马林鱼扎死，拴在了船头。然而，幸运并没有出现，等待老人的是更大的考验。一群嗅着血腥味而来的大鲨鱼与已经皮开肉绽的老人展开了殊死博斗。最后老人的命虽然保住了，但鲨鱼们吃光了大马林鱼，老人拖回去的最终是一副光秃秃的骨架……

人生的道路是曲折坎坷的，遇到失败是再平常不过的事，我们应该时时刻刻拥有一颗坚强、不屈服的心来面对失败，成功就一定会向我们走来。

昨天，早上我上厕所的时候起来一看我问：“妈妈我是不是起早了，”妈妈说：“不是你起早了，而是天被雾霾挡住了，”我疑惑不解的想着今天不会又看不见吧。

然后我就急急忙忙的拿了一盒饼干去作文班上学，我刚一下电梯，还没来得及戴上口罩我就闻到了一种刺鼻的味道，我就立马戴上口罩，出去一看，整个天黑乎乎的，连树叶上面都灰，转了我们小区的花园，我才知道天气是被人们污染、鞭炮的浓烟污染、尘土污染、汽车的浓烟污染的，然后我就骑上自行车，很快的赶往作文学校，这一路上我发现路上的行人很少，大多都是开车的，前面的车把浓烟喷射到后面的车玻璃上，车玻璃直接没法擦了，我们今天的作文是没法写了，但是我们见天可以玩了，我们就给各自的家长打了电话让他们接我回家，只有我一个人孤零零的骑着自行车回家。

Since the winter last year，the haze has occurred a lot of times.Haze is air pollution in which is mixed up with dust， smoke and other dry particles ，and it obscure the clarity of the sky and interacts with the natural environment.This kind of air pollutant come from a variety of natural and manmade sources. Natural sources can include windblown dust， and soot from wildfires. Manmade sources can include motor vehicles， and industrial fuel burning， and manufacturing operations. The one of the main cause that touches off haze is manufacturing operations. Many factories were over measure produced the smog that had over the standard and the smog seriously influence the air become air pollution.

it has done great harm to our daily life.many traffic accidents happened just because of the heavy haze weather，more and more people have to go to see the doctor because the serious disease caused by the haze，quite a lot of flights have to be put off，a great number of people have to stay at home for fear of the poisonous air caused by the haze.

People have realized the great harm caused by the smog and the importance of protecting the environment.people all over the country are taking measures to reduce the smog weather.the government suggests people go to work or school with the public traffic， such as the bus and the underground.Also we should plant more trees.One of effective solutions to help eliminate haze is to make some chemistry changes during the manufacturing process，so it could reduce harmful emissions which are produced by manufacturing operations According to me， I will go to school by bike or on foot， and I won’t throw the waste anywhere.in addition， I will tell the people I meet to protect the environment as possible as they can.would you like to tell me some good ideas?i’m looking forward to your reply. During the 15 days from New Year’s Eve to Lantern Festival， Beijing was affected by smog for more than half the time， because of which people suffered a lot. On the road people drove slowly because they could not see clearly. People also suffered from many illnesses caused by smog.

The smog in Beijing has been caused by many factors， in which the increase of cars in the city area plays an important role. The cars send off a lot of poisonous gases， which in turn adds to the already serious air pollution.

In my opinion， the number of cars should be limited. We should call on the people to use more public transport. Only in this way can we expect to have more sunny days.

老人圣地亚哥是一位老渔民，老人与海就讲述了他在连续八十四天都没有捕到一条鱼的情况下，终于独自一人钓上了一条大马林鱼，但这条鱼庞大的像一座山丘，所以将老渔民圣地亚哥的小渔船整整拖了几天几夜叉筋疲力尽，被老人杀死绑在了小船的一头。老人返航的时候却遇到了鲨鱼，他应用的抵抗鲨鱼的攻击。可最后回到港湾的时候，大鱼只剩下鱼头、鱼尾和一条脊骨。

这篇小说描写了老人在中亚紫霞仍保持着优雅的风度。作者这样写突出了老人威严冷静的性格特点，就像我们小学五年级的一篇课文《桥》中的老支书一样。面对鲨鱼的攻击，老人并没有吓呆了，而是沉着的应对鲨鱼疯狂的攻击才保住了自己的性命。如果老人并没有沉着的应对鲨鱼的攻击，那老人将会一无所有（宝货老人的生命）这篇小说主要告诉我名字一个人应用有的最宝贵的精神—人可以被毁灭，却不可以被打败。圣地亚哥也因此而成为了文学史上最着名的“硬汉”之一

所以在生活上我们要学习老渔民圣地亚哥的品格与精神，才能成为对住过有用的人。

He lives on a young star.One day he left the star which he lives,starts to travel.He passed though various stars,afterward,he arrived the Earth.And finally returned to his star.In the traveling,the little prince saw the of all forms person in the society confused:king,which loves the vanity person.The drunkard,for put behind ashamed drinks.The industrialist who only likes calculating the astronomy number typemoney.T

《雾都孤儿》这本书讲的是主人翁奥利弗尔·退斯特是在济贫院里出生，后来在弃婴堂里生活了九年，然后又被警官带回济贫院，像奴隶一样拍卖，最后被棺材店老板领走，过了一个月左右，奥利弗尔·退斯特独自前往伦敦，在路上遇到一个小偷，之后他就进入了贼窝。后来，有一次偷窃活动，他的同伙把一个老先生的包抢走了，奥利弗尔·退斯特被抓住了，奥利弗尔·退斯特向老先生说了自己的处境，然后这个老先生就收留了他。让他过上了一段幸福美好的时光。有一次，他去给人送钱，半路被那同一个贼劫去，被参加一次入室抢劫，被子弹击中，抢劫失败后，半路被扔在路边。第二天，被被抢劫的那一家救去。最后，主人翁的两家联合，还有警察，用正义力量击败贼窝。

这本书让我懂得了世界上存在的邪恶比正义多，最终正义能击败邪恶。

Let me just start by saying that I had been put off reading Thomas Hardye by Dickens. Having really struggled with Dickens and resorted to audio I had wrongly assumed that all 19C liturature was the same. How wrong I could be. From the first paragraph where the opening character farmer Gabriel Oak is desribed smiling, ‘the corners of his mouth spread till they were an unimportant distance from his ears‘ I fell in love with Hardy‘s narrative. His ability to use words that lift the description off the page and into the reader‘s imagination are not just outstanding but incredibly enjoyable.

I went into this book blindly, knowing little about the plot that lay ahead or even the genre. It has been described by some as romantic fiction. But I think this is too simplistic a title and and maybe slightly off-putting to some. Hardye steps into Greek Tragedy when the unwitting and churlish actions of our young protagonist, Bathsheba Everdene, result in a love tryst between three suitors with tragic consequenses.

The book is essentially a journey for Bathsheba into womanhood not unlike the journey that Scarlett O‘Hara makes in Gone with the Wind who also has to overcome great tragedy in order to realise her own strength. Unlike this heroin, however, Bathsheba is more the instrument of chaos and indecion and part of her journey is that she accepts what she has caused and tries to make it right.

Hardye avoids making this into moral stricture but deviates from the Greek Tragedy model by giving us a happy ending not atypical of 19C serialised fiction.

Quite often an author‘s voice creeps into their writing and the reader becomes aware that they are not in fact walking the hills and dales of fictional Wessex but are at the pen nib of a writ

I am convinced that few books are as good as this one. To be honest, I hadn’t maintained that this book would appeal me before I read it. However, I was absorbed in the book from the first chapter to the last one. Why this book has appealed to me that much? I asked myself. This book is not my type of reading for only romantic books could draw my attention successfully. Then I came into a conclusion that it is the friendship and familyship fascinated me.

To the world you are one person, but to the person who loves you, you are the world. Amir was Hassan’s world. Amir’s name had been the first word Hassan spoke. Hassan threatened brutal Assef for the sake of Amir. Hassan never failed to run the kite to please Amir. Hassan sacrificed himself for Amir’s house. These are more than a friend would do. Only those who loves you so much could challenge himself to do what Hassan did to Amir.To Hassan, Amir was not only a mere friend but a brother. He loved Amir more than anything else. Even after Amir betrayed him, he still told his son proudly“Agan Amir is my best friend”.Maybe for Hassan “for you, a thousand times over” has another meaning, which is not just kite running for Amir but he will do anything for Amir.

If Hassan could be described as an angel, then Amir was just a person. I did hate Amir for he watched Hassan be raped and did nothing, for he made Hassan leave his born-place, for he aimed Hassan with fruit(even though he actually tried to make himself get punished). Amir didn’t deserve what Hassan did to him. I thought his meanness caused Hassan’s tragedy. But after I finished the book, I realized it is not Hassan’s tragedy, it is Amir’s. For what he had done to Hassan, he had led a live with regret and suffered endless sleepless nights. His going back to Afghanistan is not only a journey physically but a journey to atonement. Hassan’s son, his nephew saved, Amir’s sin was finally washed. Like the life of circle, Amir ran kite for his miserable nephew.As Hassan did to him, he said “for you , a thousand times over” to Sohrab.Though the book doesn’t give us an accurate ending whether Sohrab came into life again. I am sure love can cure everything. Only when Sohrab lives a happy life as Hassan hoped can Amir’s sin washed up.

The friendship between Hassan and Amir moved me. I believe All the people who read it is going to be touched just as I am. This book does make me think the good and the bad ,what’s wrong and what’s right, the cruelty of war . Few books can exert an influence on people nowadays, this book sure does.
