腊八节又称腊日祭、腊八祭、王侯腊或佛成道日，原来古代欢庆丰收、感谢祖先和神灵的祭祀仪式，除祭祖敬神的活动外，人们还要逐疫。这项活动于古代的傩。史前时代的医疗方法之一即驱鬼治疾。作为巫术活动的腊月击鼓驱疫之俗，今在湖南新化等地区仍有留存。 后演化成纪念佛祖释伽牟尼成道的宗教节日。夏代称腊日为“嘉平”，商代为“清祀”，周代为“大蜡”;因在十二月举行，故称该月为腊月，称腊祭这一天为腊日。先秦的腊日在冬至后的第三个戌日，南北朝开始才固定在腊月初八。

“腊者，逐疫迎春”，腊八节又谓之“佛成道节”，亦名“成道会”，实际上可以说是十二月初八为腊日之由来。据传，佛教创始人释迦牟尼修行深山，静坐六年，饿得骨瘦如柴，曾欲弃此苦，恰遇一牧羊女，送他乳糜，他食罢盘腿坐于菩提树下，于十二月初八之日悟道成佛，为了纪念而始兴“佛成道节”。中国信徒出自虔诚，遂与“腊日”融合，方成“腊八节”，并同样举行隆重的仪礼活动。

It is very important to deal with the rubbish in cities. For one thing, rubbish may cause a lot of pollution. It may pollute the air, the water and the places we live in. For another, it may do harm to peoples health.

So in our city, rubbish is well dealt with. First, it is sorted. Then old newspapers and glass are recycled. The harmful wastes are buried and the waste water is cleaned before it goes into the river. The government has already made laws against pollution caused by rubbish.

But thats not enough. We must all try our. best to prevent rubbish from polluting the environment so as to. save our city and our living place.

是非常重要的处理城市垃圾。首先,垃圾会导致污染。它可能会污染空气、水和我们居住的地方。另一方面,它会危害人们的健康。

所以我们在城市中,垃圾得到了妥善处理。首先,它是排序。然后旧报纸和玻璃回收利用。有害的废物要被掩埋,污水要在净化后才排入河流。政府已经制定了规章,禁止垃圾污染。

In the morning, it is very fine! Then I climb the mountain with family, the

air on the mountain is very fresh, the flowers plants and trees on the mountain

all seem extremely beautiful. In the afternoon, I go to friends home to play,

the friend entertains me warmly, show me a lot of books of his , has listened to

his CD for me , then also ask me to eat a sumptuous dinner. Coming back home in

the evening, family and I sat and watched TV together, we are returning and

eating the fruit while chatting, the whole family is happy and harmonious!

早上，天气非常好!于是我和家人一起去登山，山上的空气非常清新，花草树木在山上都显得格外美丽。在下午，我去了朋友家玩，朋友热情地招待我，给我看了他的很多书，给我听了他的CD，然后还请我吃了一顿丰盛的晚餐。晚上回到家，我与家人坐在一起看电视，我们还一边聊天一边吃着水果，全家其乐融融。
