My hometown Nanchang City , capital of Jiangxi province, southeastern China. An old walled city on the right bank of the Gan River, it was founded in 201 BC. In AD 959 it became the capital of the Southern Tang dynasty. At the end of the Mongol period it was a battleground between the founder of the Ming dynasty and local warlords. In the early 16th century a rebellion was launched against the Ming regime. Nanchang suffered severely during the Taiping Rebellion (1850 – 64). My home town is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is

rich in fish and rice.

But in the old days it was a poor and backward little town. Many people had

In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken

I think Mid-Autumn Day is an old traditional festival in China。 Everybody likes it because its a family get-together。 You see it is called"Mid-Autumn Day"， so it often es in September or October。 It is on the 15th of the 8th of the lunar month。 Now， lets say something about this interesting festival。

Firstly， Id like to say something about the moon。 I like it very much because I want to be an astronaut in the future。 That day the moon is round， big， just like a beautiful plate hanging on the blue cloth。 When I see the moon， I will remember the ancient myths——the godess Chang Er and her little rabbit are playing under the tree which Wu Gang grows。 I will also think about Armstrongs first moonwalk。 I will also miss the friends in Tai-wan island， in Macao and Chinese people who are abroad。 I know they are missing us very much， too。

Secondly， I11 say something about the tradition on Mid-Autumn Day。 Look!Theres a big tree in a garden of a Chinese fami-ly。 All the family members are sitting around a big table under the tree in the open air。 They are eating the mooncakes and admiring the full moon in the sky。 That is a family reunion dinner。 The mooncakes and the moon represent the love from a family。 I think this is one of the most valuable things in the world。

Thirdly，it is a very good opportunity to make three wishes on Mid-Autumn Day。 My wishes are: the first， I， an astronaut in the future， would like to go to the moon one day， and stay with the sky and stars; the second， I hope every person in the world will stay with family， share love from the family forever; the third， I hope everybodys dream will e true。

That is the Mid-Autumn Day in my mind。 I will always re-member: East or West， home is best。

我认为中秋节是中国古老的传统节日。每个人都喜欢它，因为它是一个家庭聚会。你看它被称为“中秋节”，所以通常在九月或十月。这是在农历八月十五日。现在，让我们谈谈这个有趣的节日。

那是我心中的中秋节。我将永远重新成员：东方或西方，家是最好的。

一缕金色的阳光透过窗隙缓缓的照射进来，撒在地面上。弟弟忙用手去接，当他的手上出现一道光影时，惊呼道:“好暖和呀！”我推开窗户轻轻一嗅——嗯，春天的气息!

走进老家的院子，哇，一棵棵苹果树上冒出了点点嫩芽儿，左边的一排核桃树上也已充满绿意。这些可爱的小树经历了一个冬天风霜雨雪的洗礼，现在已经生机勃勃。如一个个可爱的小士兵站成整齐的一列欢迎我的到来。可是不能光注意眼前也要看到脚边。闷了一个寒冬的小草小花儿早都耐不住性子，急切地要钻出土来了。不过它们还太稚嫩，轻轻一碰就倒，让人心生怜爱。“嘘——”听，什么在叫？啊，原来是几只漂亮的小鸟，停息在枝头，叽叽喳喳地唱歌呢!

走上山坡，微风吹拂，如同妈妈的手，轻轻抚摸着我的脸。带着新翻的泥土气息，混着青草香，都在微微湿润的空气中酝酿。再往前走，就是花的世界。有些树枝上开满了花朵，红的像火，粉的像霞，白的像雪。花里带着甜味儿，闭了眼，轻轻嗅闻，仿佛在于花的海洋中徜徉。女孩儿爱美，摘下几朵来别在衣服上，头夹上，仿佛星星点缀，如花仙子般陶醉。

走进小河，河面上的冰霜已逐渐消融。人不能再踩上去了，它轻轻一碰，就碎成了好多的小冰渣。再仔细看，清澈的河水中，几条小鱼儿摆动着尾巴，像是在舒展筋骨。当你刚要伸手抓它们，它们便“倏”地不见了。水依旧冰冷，但已经开始了流动。开始像一个顽皮的孩子，快步向前跑去，发出“哗哗哗”的声音。待你走远后看它，又像是一条流动的蓝色水晶带，缓缓的向前飘去。

春，万物复苏，到处是生机勃勃的景象。哦，家乡的春，你怎么这么美呢！

我的故乡周村是一座古老美丽的现代化城市。人们称她为“天下第一村”。

她拥有千百年的历史，有许许多多的历史名迹，有古大街，旱码头，大染坊，还有千佛阁等。妈妈告诉我，周村还是丝绸的故乡，现在建有一个全国着名的周村丝绸城。

我眼中的周村是美丽的现代化城市。宽阔的公路两旁绿树成阴。街道上的车辆，来来往往，川流不息。步行街两旁高楼座座，各大商场里人来人往，欢声笑语，一片繁华。晚上，在各式各样的路灯和霓虹灯的照耀下，周村就显得更加美丽啦。

周村的土特产烧饼，薄脆如纸，满是芝麻，好吃极了。每年元宵节的时候，这里还有花灯和芯子，吸引了不少游客来游玩。

我爱我的故乡——周村。

天地的灵气蕴育着勤劳的人民，历史文化名城——罗江，正唤发出勃勃生机。闻名遐迩的太平桥、摘星楼常常在梦里萦绕;而时尚的宇隆广场、碧波荡漾的凯江河又以崭新的姿态展现在人们的眼前。

太平桥又叫“东大桥”，座落在县城的东面，横跨于凯江河上。太平桥始建于清朝末年，距今已有二百多年历史。桥长约200米，宽约50米，桥的两侧有二百多根望柱，经过工匠们精心雕琢，上面的虫、鱼、鸟、兽栩栩如生，呼之欲出。每当华灯初放时，那微波粼粼的河面，霎时洒遍了多彩的星星在跳跃;五光十色的彩灯与古老的石桥相互辉映，让人置身于梦幻般的境地。而那桥墩上高昂的龙头，虽然岁月的苍桑让它爬满了皱纹，历史的变迁让它经历了苦难，但它依然坚守在岗位上，给人们带来太平。

瞧，那摘星楼雄踞在玉京山山顶，显得是那么美丽壮观。那是一座宝塔状，四角有金色纹线的琉璃建筑。在纹线中间有一朵朵柳条形的“彩云”，仿佛是那美丽的晚霞。特别是那摘星楼顶部那颗耀眼的明珠，给勤劳的人民指示着前进的方向。摘生楼下是四尊沿山雕刻的高大石像，或坐，或立，或手握书卷，或挥毫疾写，或指点江山，那就是“一门四进士，叔侄三翰林”的李调元叔侄。

1997年7月罗江复县以来，古老的县城在勤劳的人民建设下又唤发了青春。时尚的宇隆广场不正是最好的写照吗?四周风格各异的建筑群，多彩的板材路，不仅奠定了现代化城市的格局，又注入了古典的韵味。每当夜幕降临进，绚丽多彩的华，像璀璨的明珠，光芒四射。听，舒缓的音乐又在耳边响起，在夜的静谧下是那么和谐。此时一家人悠闲的慢步，看看老人们优美的舞蹈，心里是多么惬意。
