Last week, my friend asked me to go to visit his hometown with him. I felt so excited and wanted to have a look at the scenery. My parents allowed and I planned to play for a week. The Laba Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the eighth day of the twelfth month of the lunar Chinese calendar. "La" is the name given to the 12th lunar month and 8 is pronounced as "ba" in Chinese, which translated is "Laba." There are several legends about the origin of this festivity and we could not tell which one is true. But what we know today is that this festival started as a sacrificial offering to ancestors. It was also a time for the ancient Chinese to pray to heaven and earth that there would be a bountiful harvest. Many people hoped for good luck as well for the coming year.

Traditionally, the Laba rice porridge is the most important element of the festival. Generally, the porridge contains eight ingredients which can include glutinous rice, red beans, millet, Chinese sorghum, peas, dried lotus seeds and some other ingredients, such as dried dates, chestnut meat, walnut meat, almond, peanut, etc. The porridge must be boiled for many hours and then offered as a sacrifice to the ancestors. 有一次上课，讲单词分类的时候，老师让我们把桌子上的文具、生活用品等分类、围成一个圈。很多同学都把本子、橡皮擦、笔等等归为文具一类，把水杯、纸巾、饭盒等归为生活用品一类。有一个同学把橡皮擦放到了生活用品那一部分了。Joe老师走过来，她看了看这个“显眼”的橡皮擦，打趣道：“不知道这位大哥是要拿橡皮擦来洗脸呢还是用来洗手呢？”顿时教室里笑得人仰马翻，连Joe也忍俊不禁。那位同学“刷”地一声脸红了起来，赶紧把橡皮擦放到正确的位置。从此以后，Joe老师上课都充满了欢声笑语。

Joe就是这样“野蛮无理”，但她诙谐风趣的课堂又是时时吸引着我们，不愧是我们的人气老师！

我有很多新老师，今天就选一个给我们上第一节课的数学老师吧。

当数学老师跨进教室的时侯，把我吓了个半死，哇，那么高，教训起人来可不是开玩笑的，大概还没从前那为数学老师的阴影下走出来吧!脑海中一下跳出了板子打人的声音，想想就恐怖。人不过没想到数学老师对人还蛮好的，从开学到现在还没怎么骂过人呢，不过是不是装的还不能证实，想想以前开学，那个新老师不这样，到后来还不是个个都原形毕露了，还一个比一个凶呢!过了几天后，我开学的恐惧没有了，更多的是课堂上的欢笑。

我还记得刚学的那几堂课，那可真是够死气沉沉的，数学老师每次问一个问题后，教室里不光没人举手，还更加沉闷，反正除了沉默就剩沉默了，我想那时数学老师应该很郁闷，上别的课都举手，偏偏上他的课是沉闷的。作文

在这几天里，有一个老师给我留下了深刻的老师。

这位老师就是我的英语老师。她的鼻梁高高的，眼睛乌黑发光，长睫毛；金色的卷发从太阳穴下面垂下来，美丽极了。老师在课上，认真讲课，详细给我们大家讲一些重点和难题，还让我们现场进行对话表演。

有一次，老师叫我起来和他进行一次问候语的对话，就只是打几个招呼，问候一下他人而已，很简单。只要听清楚老师说的是什么意思，根据意思来回答就可以了。我就是这个样子去做的。老师还说我做的很好。very good!使我感到了学习英语也不困难。

老师还会自己想一些，有趣、好玩的学习方法，来增加我们的记忆力。在前几天，我们学习了英语26个字母中的5个元音字母，这五个元音字母分别是：A E I O U老师让我们把这五个元音字母写在左手的第一关节上面，大拇指——A，食指——E，中指——I，无名指——O，小拇指—— U，这样老师让我们看着左手上写的五个元音字母，教我们一个一个的读，等我们大家都读熟了以后，老师让我们看着手的另一面，老师随便读一个元音字母，我们就把字母对应的那个手指头伸出来。就这个样子我把这五个元音字母记得牢牢的。

老师还教我们怎样更快的记住单词地方法，用单词的音和意思来记住这个单词。还有教了我们一些字母组合，通过这些字母组合 ，可以很快地读出这些单词的读音，方便极了。

我喜欢这一位英语老师，我原来不太喜欢英语，通过这几天老师的指教，我渐渐对英语产生了兴趣。我还要对英语老师说几句话：“谢谢您老师，我一定不会辜负您对我的期望。”

这就是我的英语老师。

ive got some suggestions for you. it seems that we students have got few chances to participate in discussion during the class time. most of the time, we are listening. seldom did we express our own ideas. i suggest that teachers should interact with students more frequently in the class. besides, id like to practice writing more, so would you please leave us more assignments?

Boundless sea to look forward to, give people the beauty, give a person

warm motherly love.

The sea is like a poem; it jumps; like a picture, rich in meaning; and like

a symphony, vast and mighty...... It is like a mirror; sometimes calm, sometimes

filled with rage, overwhelming, to sail the boat overturned. In my mind, the sea

is blue world, is also the cradle of life. Pregnant with many free and small

life. The sea is so mysterious, so charming!

Now the sea has changed. The sea is no longer clear, it becomes muddy and

dirty. Washed up on the beach, left is no longer alive and kicking the fish

shrimp, instead of the piles of rubbish, but also mixed with a lot of dead fish

shrimp, stinking. Why is that? Its all because of us. When people admire the

beauty of the seaside, they throw the foul rubbish into the sea. There are also
