阴历五月初五为‘端午节’,‘端午节’本名为‘端五’,端是初的意思‘五’和‘午’相互通用。端午节是我国一个古老的节日,其中有一个故事。

我国古代有一位爱国诗人叫屈原,他遭谗言被放逐后,无力拯救危亡的国家,悲愤过度,于是投江自尽,以生殉国。正是因为他不要吃鱼和虾的尸体,一个接一个的各种各样的饼子投入江中,用来喂饱水中的动物,有的划着船在水兽。这便成为现在端午节,吃粽子、炸糕点、赛龙舟的由来。

已经说过,我想我的家人端午节现场。奶奶捏一种不同类型的饼子,有小花,小,小海星,真是不同的形式。快点去购物角,爸爸不慌不忙地拉着我去买粽子。排着长长的队,好似一条长龙,我们好不容易才买到了粽子。我们可以看到,每个家庭都重视这个节日,人们用这种方式来表达他们的想法和崇敬元。

我要热爱祖国,努力学习,做一个对国家有用的人,比如屈原,和之前一样,受到人民的尊敬和爱戴。

据了解，去年“三月三”期间，近千名来自广西各地、各民族的歌手、民间艺人、非物质文化遗产传承人聚集在广西民族博物馆，唱起了各民族原生态的山歌，吸引了众多游客。而2016广西三月三放假安排时间表也已经出来了，通过万年历我们可以清楚的看出，2016广西三月三是4月8号(星期四)、4月9号(星期五)这两天。根据广西壮族自治区人民政府办公厅2月22日下发的通知，2016年“壮族三月三”全区放假2天，4月9日(周六)、10(周日)(即农历三月初三、初四)放假，4月8日(周五)、11日(周一)补休。

根据自治区第十二届人民政府第98号政府令精神，经自治区人民政府同意，2016年“壮族三月三”期间，本自治区内全体公民放假2天，放假时间为4月9日(周六)、10日(周日)，即农历三月初三、初四。因为今年“三月三”放假时间正逢周末，所以4月8日(周五)、11日(周一)补休，这意味着广西人将可以享受一个四天的小长假。

这个节日的由来逝代中国有一位博学多闻的官吏屈原，他是一位爱民而且又受到尊崇的官吏，但是由於一位充满嫉妒的官吏陷害，从此在朝廷中被皇帝所冷落。由於无法获得皇帝的重视，屈原在忧郁的情况下投汨罗江自尽。

由於对屈原的爱戴，汨罗江畔的居民匆忙的划船在江内寻找屈原，并且将米丢入汨罗江中，以平息汨罗江中的蛟龙。即使他们当时并没有找到屈原，但是他们的行为，直到今天在端午节的时候，仍然被人们传颂纪念著。

The origin of this summer festival centers around a scholarly government official named Chu Yuan. He was a good and respected man，but because of the misdeeds of jealous rivals he eventually fell into disfavor in the emperors court.

Unable to regain the respect of the emperor，in his sorrow Chu Yuan threw himself into the Mi Low river. Because of their admiration for Chu Yuan， the local people living adjacent to the Mi Lo River rushed into their boats to search for him while throwing rice into the waters to appease the river dragons.

Although they were unable to find Chu Yuan，their efforts are still commemorated today during the Dragon Boat Festival.

Duanwu Festival is a traditional Chinese festival held on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar. It is also known as the Double Fifth.citation needed] It has since been celebrated, in various ways, in other parts of East Asia as well. In the West, its commonly known as Dragon Boat Festival.

The exact origins of Duan Wu are unclear, but one traditional view holds that the festival memorializes the Chinese poet Qu Yuan of the Warring States Period. He committed suicide by drowning himself in a river because he was disgusted by the corruption of the Chu government. The local people, knowing him to be a good man, decided to throw food into the river to feed the fish so they would not eat Qus body. They also sat on long, narrow paddle boats called dragon boats, and tried to scare the fish away by the thundering sound of drums aboard the boat and the fierce looking carved dragon head on the boats prow(船头)。

In the early years of the Chinese Republic, Duan Wu was also celebrated as "Poets Day," due to Qu Yuans status as Chinas first poet of personal renown(名声名望)。

Today, people eat bamboo-wrapped steamed glutinous(粘的) rice dumplings called zongzi (the food originally intended to feed the fish) and race dragon boats in memory of Qus dramatic death.
