Furthermore, I still remember during the spring vocation in May, due to the break-down of my mail box, I missed her mails to discussing some questions. But the following week during the course time, she asked me directly. Her zeal for knowledge and the spirit to explore answers really leave me a deep impression. Finally, she was among the few students who got almost full marks in every test in class which showed her exceeding grasp of every chapter. Thus, I gave her 98/100 for the excellent performance in my course.

In 1882 a baby girl caught a fever that was so fierce she nearly died. She survived but the fever left its mark she could no longer see or hear. Because she could not hear she also found it very difficult to speak.

By the age of seven she had invented over 60 different signs by which she could talk to her family, If she wanted bread for example, she would pretend to cut a loaf and butter the slices. If she wanted ice cream she wrapped her arms around herself and pretended to shiver.

Eventually it became clear that something had to be done. So, just before her seventh birthday, the family hired a private tutor Anne Sullivan.

Anne was careful to teach Helen especially those subjects in which she was interested. As a result Helen became gentler and she soon learnt to read and write in Braille. This method is called Tadoma and it is a skill that very, very few people manage to acquire. She also learnt to speak, a major achievement for someone who could not hear at all.

Helen proved to be a remarkable scholar, graduating with honours from Radcliffe College in 1904. She had phenomenal powers of concentration and memory, as well as a dogged determination to succeed. While she was still at college she wrote ‘The Story of My Life. This was an immediate success and earned her enough money to buy her own house.

The world changed when James Watt invented the first steam engine, when Isaac Newton discovered the universal gravitation after hit by an apple, when Karl Marx wrote The Communist Manifesto, when Chairman Mao solemnly declared the establishment of the Peoples Republic of China on the Tiananmen Rostrum, when Martin Luther King cried out “I have a dream”. The world was changed by something called dream, which is invisible, untouchable but strong enough.

I can assure that every child have written a composition titled My Dream. They have already written down their longing for the future. Some of them want to become scientists; some of them hope to become teachers or doctors. Maybe they didn’t know how many difficulties they will face before their dream come true. But the dreams are like small seeds planted in their hearts; like the beacon in the sea that lead them to their destinations.

Dream is the fountain of strength. Dream is the support of faith. Dream is the Polaris. Dream reminds us to move forward, to struggle, to strive all the time. there are a couple of principal factors for this issue .most importantly ,it is because the young are so engaged with their work and study that it is difficult for them to find time visiting their old generations .furthermore, the unemployment of old people is another influential ground for their loneness since they may have too much free time and dont know what to do .

since the old generations have made great contribution to the society ,so,they should be respected ,accepted and cared .as for me ,they are at leats two ways to resolve this problem. first ,the old ones can raise pets like dogs or cats to have a accompany ,also, they can have a walk in the park,last, the young should care them and find time together with them as possible .

I like to watch movie, I had watched many movies,Jackie Chen is my favorite male actor.

When I was small, I watched Jackie Chen’s actionmovie, he can beat many guys at the same time, heis many teenagers’ hero.

In July xx, I began work for a small private company as a technical support engineer in QingDao city.Because Im capable of more responsibilities, so I decided to change my job. I like little sparrows best. The sparrow is brown and reddish brown in color! They love together, stop singing in the branches, chirp, like a chorus! It is small and exquisite, a pair of transparent, flexible eyes, with a pointed mouth below.

Its pointed mouth is very clever, like to eat small insects, small insects hide behind the leaves, but it can not escape the little sparrow sharp eyes, small sparrows flying like an arrow, catch bugs, and fly away!
