这是我第一次投稿，是第一篇我向网络写下的文章。说好听点，这是我到达梦想之路的起点——成为一个作家的开始；说难听点，这就是一次试水。毕竟，自己这几两肉，自己还是知道的。

我之所以将标题起做“起点？终点？”，是因为有人都问我同一个问题：“孩子，你长大以后想干什么啊？”

我虽然嘴上说不知道。可是回到家躺到床上，一闭上眼睛，这个声音就不住地在我的耳边徘徊。于是，我心里就琢磨：“这，是个不小的问题。我已然是高一新生，离成年，走向社会也不远了。我人生事业真正的起点在哪里呢？”

那晚，其实是无眠的暗，我眼皮子根本没有闭严实。

第二天早上，我从床上坐起来，瞥见床头那本没读完的书。我把它拿来只是想随便看几眼就放回去，不想却看到这么一句话：“若，万事不先有一个起头；那，你如何才能知晓其终点是怎样一帆风景。”这句话是一位垂危的父亲在病床上，对着自己胆小的小儿子说的。读完，我不仅没有得到满意的答案，反而又开始忧伤起来：我的终点在哪里？我知道，所有人的终点就是死亡，我纵使有着富可敌国的金银，一人之下万人之上的权杖，也走不出死亡的影子。原来我们每个都在死亡的影子下长大。

我想了很久很久，忘了学习和生活。

Our bus stopped at Stanford university, and I saw an antique building. 我默默地低着头，心像是被撕裂了一般难受。三个同窗好友中，我的成绩是最差的。在班级中也一直是可有可无的，无论我如何想要努力改变，也依旧没有办法改变的事实就血淋淋地摆在眼前：我就是再努力，也不会取得成绩，我就是灰蒙蒙的土，那么不起眼，那么卑微。

下午是英语老师的课，我沉默地坐在座位上，等待着命运无情的碾压。我低着头，一直这样，不敢抬头看老师，也不敢看两个朋友，更不敢看其他同学。我害怕他们嘲笑我，却更害怕他们完全不嘲笑我而遗忘了我。

然而就在老师开口时，我却听到了和想象中截然不同的话：“本次考试的第一名，这位同学非常努力，这次的结果也很喜人，达到了97分。”

我看到老师在看我。

居然是我?我并不是79分，而是97分?

就在这时，身边的他也突然低声说道：“哦对，我记错了，你是97分呢……”那一刻，我觉得，之前的努力没有白费，真是太好了。就好像一瞬间知道了自己存在的意义，自己也可以散发出光和热，原来我也有属于自己的光芒。
