How I Spent My Summer Vacation The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running rowing, to keep me physically strong. I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional festival of the han. It is a very important festival in our hometown, so every year the Dragon Boat Festival is very busy.

The Dragon Boat Festival is the most indispensable, nature is zongzi, every year the grandmother of the Dragon Boat Festival and everyone will pack hundreds of big dumplings! There are many kinds of dumplings, such as reed leaves, bamboo shoots, wild leaves and lotus leaves. But our hometown is a lot of reeds, so most of them are wrapped in reeds. 当然，最好玩的时候还是包粽子的时候。包粽子时，男人负责把肉切成不大不小的块儿;女人负责洗红豆、糯米之类的;小孩负责把大盆洗干净，再把大人加工好的东西装在大盆里;而老人们则负责指挥。一切准备好之后，就开始包粽子了。大人们干得格外卖力，而小孩们呢?却在一旁玩着，总是在大人们不注意时，偷一两颗蜜枣往嘴里塞，表面上似乎一点儿事都没做，可心里却暗暗自喜——因为蜜枣太好吃了!

最后一步就是煮粽子，烧火的外公总是把火候把握的很好，味道很香、很浓，如果在第一时间内吃粽子，你看到的肉粽子总是嫩地流油，看到的蜜枣粽子总是金黄柔嫩;看到的八宝粽子总是很可口，我们可爱吃了。

去年，要不是为了去盐城替舅舅、舅妈照顾表哥，外公外婆可能在包粽子哩。我突然有些“厌恶”舅舅、舅妈，他们家的经济条件不错，为什么不找个保姆?把我的欢乐端午节和粽子都“夺走了”，我好生气呀!也好怀念那味香色美的粽子呀!

I always think there is not enoughTime. For example, I have just taken a

小白兔连睡觉也十分机警，有点声音就会惊醒过来，就算你蹑手蹑脚地经过它的身旁，它也会忽然睁开它的红眼睛。它睡觉的样子十分有趣，你看，它的毛一上一下的，好像在轻轻打鼾，长耳朵一晃一晃的。仔细一看，它居然是蹲着睡觉的！

With the harsh competition in todays society, more and more people

complain about their stress in their daily life. Stress mainly comes from our

work, study and families. When we feel stressed, we often have bad moods on the

day and cant sleep well at night. Thats too bad for our health. To help ease

stress, some good ways are suggested. Firstly, we can chat with our parents and

friends. Maybe they can give us some good advice. Secondly, we ought to do some

exercise, which can help us have a nice sleep at night. Moreover, we are

supposed to balance our life with more outdoor activities, so as to make our

life more colorful and vivid.

山不解释自己的高度，并不影响它的耸立云端；海不解释自己的深度，并不影响它容纳百川；地不解释自己的厚度，但没有谁能取代她作为万物的地位……

人生在世，我们常常产生想解释点什么的想法。然而，一旦解释起来，却发现任何人解释都是那样的苍白无力，甚至还会越抹越黑。因此，做人不需要解释，便成为智者的选择。那么在当今社会，与人相处，我认为关键是要学会低调！

低调做人，是一种品格，一种姿态，一种风度，一种修养，一种胸襟，一种智慧，一种谋略，是做人的最佳姿态。欲成事者必须要宽容于人，进而为人们所悦纳、所 赞赏、所钦佩，这正是人能立世的根基。根基坚固，才有繁枝茂叶，硕果累累；倘若根基浅薄，便难免枝衰叶弱，不禁风雨。而低调做人就是在社会上加固立世根基 的绝好姿态。低调做人，不仅可以保护自己、融入人群，与人和谐相处，也可以让人暗蓄力量、悄然潜行，在不显山不露水中成就事业。

学会低调做人，就是要不喧闹、不娇柔、不造作、不假惺惺、不卷进是非、不招人嫌、不招人嫉，即使你认为自己满腹才华，能力比别人强，也要学会藏拙。而抱怨自己怀才不遇，那只是肤浅的行为。

低调做人，就是用平和的心态来看待时间的一切，修炼到此种境界，为人便能善始善终，既可以让人在卑微时安贫乐道，豁达大度，也可以让人在显赫时盈若亏，不娇不狂。

低调也许只是针对为人而已，如果对人生，对事业太低调，会埋没人才。对于事业，应该有崇高的追求和执着的创新，同时，要创造机会展示自己的才华，自己的智慧，。。。。。为人低调并非是妥协、退让、懦弱，而是一种智慧，一种远见，是一种对人的尊重。

时光匆匆，转眼间，我将要告别六年的小学生活，心中有些暗暗的不舍……

青青草地

走进校园，那一排排高大而又笔直的杨柳使我难以忘怀;小花园中，那一簇簇粉红的满天星使我难以忘怀;操场上，那草地，还像六年前我刚踏进校园的一样，依旧那倔强地生长着，依旧充满了勃勃生机。如今即将离开母校，这里的一草一木怎么能让人忘怀呢?

声声笑语

还记得五年级的那次趣味运动会上，我们全班参加了集体项目：拔河比赛。起初我使出了全部的力气，放手一搏，可惜对方实力太强，我们还是不相上下。在我几乎就要放弃的时候，我后面的同学突然大声地对大家说：“加油啊!我们马上就要胜利了!”大家听了这句话，又斗志满满，我们团结一心，双手紧握生字，一、二、三拉，终于，那红红的彩带过了我们的河界——我们胜利了!我们如同夺得了奥运会金牌一般，抱在一起欢呼着、说笑着，这声声笑语

谆谆教诲

六年中是老师倾注了心血，把我们从一个个年幼无知的孩子培养成为一名有知识，懂道理的少年。老师就是我们前进路上的导航。记得那是六年级的一次月考，我只考了九十二分，老师把我叫到了办公室，她拿着我们的卷子，面色严肃地对我说：“错在哪了?”我如实地回答着：“以为马虎，所以得数错了。”老师又语重心长地说：“孩子，今后道路你要自己走，马虎是学习上的大敌，不能因为马虎毁了前程。”我听了老师的话，不禁潸然泪下，老师为我擦去了眼泪，我又破涕为笑。

校园的青青草地

Last week, my cousin was back at home from his trip. He had been away for

more than a month and he was a backpacker. I felt so envious, because he could

live the life he wanted. I listened to him and was so attractive by the scenery

he saw. The people he met also caught my attention. I made up my mind. When I

earned money in the future, I would do the things as my cousin do now. So the

first thing for me was to be more independent. I should learn to do the things

by myself, such as cleaned my own stuff instead of asking my mother to wash.

Secondly, I needed to study hard, so as to find a good job. I needed money to

support my dream. I believe that I can realize my dream and live my own

life.
