this in every human endeavor. Outstanding sportsmen spend all their time

Teachers Day

September 10 is our Teachers’ Day. In the afternoon, Zhonghua school held a celebration meeting, at which more than twenty old teachers each were praised with a medal for their over thirty years of teaching. Our principal made an enthusiastic speech at the meeting, and then the representative of the teachers and students gave a talk to us. After the meeting, we started performances played by some teachers and students, which were very interesting and instructive. We all had a wonderful time. you to improve your communication skills.

First of all, listen and respond thoughtfully to others. You should spend

more time listening to others instead of boasting yourself. Some of us are very

egocentric, which means self-focused. If you spend too much time talking about

your own stuff, the people around you may think you are a tedious and annoying

person. So, the best way to do is to consider our friends’ thoughts and

feelings. Try to be a good listener, when you express yourself, thinks about it

Second, appropriately adapt messages to others. It is not enough to be

sensitive and accurately understand others; when your send out your message, you

pick up the best ways and respond to others to achieve your communication goals.

would be unethical. Appropriately adapt messages to others means carefully

editing and shaping your responses so that your messages can be understood by

others and you can achieve your goals.

Last but not least, try to interpret nonverbal messages. As we all know,

unspoken messages can express powerful ideas or emotions with greater impact

than mere words. You should try to observe others facial expressions or

movements and give correct responds to others. You can see the emotions or

attitude from one’s gesture stops. Be sensitive and appropriate interpreting

I have experienced a lot of interesting things in this winter holiday, and the most interesting of them is the Spring Festival.

In the evening of February 17th, aunt and uncle went to our home and spent the Spring Festival with my family. My aunt and aunt came here, and I went up to them to greet them. 我睡不着时，我会在床上大叫一声：“妈！”，妈妈便会走进我的房间，坐在我的床沿，有节奏的，轻轻的，缓缓的拍着我，不一会儿我便安然的进入了梦乡有时我实在不愿被周公唤去，爸爸会狠狠的批评我。我不理他，一扭头，在这枯燥的指责声中睡着了。

我开始怀念妈妈的抚摸，爸爸的责骂，即使被骂的狗血淋头。我开始懂得他们的好，懂得他们为什么愿意在萧瑟的冷风中等我好几个小时，我叫他们走他们却不同意，只因他们爱我。

我开始怀想我对他们的付出有多少。很少，远远不及爸爸妈妈对我的一半。爸爸用肩膀为我扛起了七年的书包，我做了什么？妈妈用双手为我泡了七年的茶水，我又做了什么？

很多人在忙着收集许多鹅卵石时，才发现自己丢了一颗钻石。想想从前真可笑，不懂父母对我的爱，不懂他们有多重要。

我爱你们，因为你们是我最重要的家人。

暑期难忘的一件事

It was a sunny day today,when I got up in the morning, I decided to see my grandparents. So I took the bus and got there at noon,they were happy to see me, and I was very happy, too.

今天天气不错,太阳天.当我早上醒来,我决定去看看爷爷奶奶,所以我乘巴士中午到了那里,爷爷奶奶看到我很开心,而且我也很开心。

In the afternoon, my farther asked me to help him water the plant, and I was happy to see the flowers smiling in the wind.

下午爸爸叫我帮他给植物浇水,看到那些在风中微笑的花儿我很开心。

In a word, today is a unforgetive day. because I saw my relatives and helped people.

总的说来,今天是难忘的一天.因为我去看了亲戚也帮助了他人。

More and more people makes the traffic busier and busier.

Most people keen to live in the big cities where are more convenient and the children can receive better education.But the problem is the heavy traffic create too much pollution which does great harm to humans health.

So,to keep ourselves safe,I think we should do at least two things like below.

Firstly,we should obey the traffic rules whenever we are and even when we are in a deadly hurry.If everyone can do so,everything on the road will be in turn well.

Secondly,we should ask ourselves and our relatives and friends to walk instead of riding or driving if possible,when the time is no enough,we must try to take a bus rather than drive a car.More vehicles will of course cause more traffic problems.Thats my ideas,I hope it is acceptable.

Water is one of the most valuable resource in the world, is the ideal liquid to sustain life. Mammals in vivo is between 60% and 65% water, two-thirds of the human body weight, 99% of the brain, bones are about 44% water. Lack of water, the human and the earth will not survive, forests will disappear, the plant will perish, the earth will appear the boundless desert, signs of life will disappear.

Currently the worlds fresh water accounts for only 2.5% of the total water resources, of which more than 70% is frozen in the arctic and Antarctic ice sheets, and it is difficult to use the snow on the mountain glaciers and permafrost, 87% of the fresh water resources is difficult to use. Humans really able to take advantage of the freshwater resources is part of the rivers and lakes, and groundwater, accounts for about 0.26% of the earths water.

Given the global freshwater resources shortage, not only will soon fall into the predicament of the water shortage in many countries, economic development will be limited, on January 18, 1993, the 47th United Nations general assembly resolution, determine the annual March 22 as "world water day". 鉴于全球淡水资源不仅短缺、许多国家将很快陷入缺水的困境，经济发展将受到限制，1993年1月18日，第47届联合国大会作出决议，确定每年的3月22日为“世界水日”。1988年《中华人民共和国水法》颁布后，水利部即确定每年的7月1日至7日为“中国水周”，考虑到“世界水日”与“中国水周”的主旨和内容基本相同，故从1994年开始，把“中国水周”的时间改为每年的3月22日至28日，时间重合，使宣传活动更加突出“世界水日”的主题。
