Summer can be very hot in southern taibei where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. Low-carbon life is good for everyone. To help with the environment，I always walk or ride a bike to school instead of taking a car. 乡村之行

“咯咯咯??”随着一声公鸡的叫声，一缕阳光洒进了我的房间，随着微风吹来，像是在跟我打招呼。

我起来一看，乡村的早晨可真是太美了！山上的森林郁郁葱葱，村前的河水清澈见底，天空湛蓝深远，空气也清新甜润。这时，我忽然闻到了一阵清香，我便赶紧跑了出去，一看，原来是河水里面的荷花开了。那亭亭玉立，高雅清香的荷花，可真是令人赞不绝口呀！

荷花已经开了不少了。荷叶挨挨挤挤的，像一个个碧绿的大圆盘。荷花在这些大圆盘里冒出来。荷花的颜色有粉红的，也有乳白的。它们多么像是一个个小娃娃正在跟你热情地打招呼啊，而你也在用微笑来向它们问好。而且到了夜晚的时候，你还会听到青蛙在歌唱。

我的家乡在农村，且不提农村那古朴的

小桥流水，也不提那引人入胜的青松苍柏，单是这农家小院，就极富诗情画意。

夏天到了，那株挨着墙角的桃树，已掩

How time flies! It has been about two years since I came to the University of Education. Every coin has two sides. On the one hand, I am quite satisfied with my university life. On the other hand, life in my university is not as satisfactory as what we had expected.
