Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough， most people will not buy private cars. And the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly.

中元节，我的作业做得差不多了，就回奶奶家住。

第一天早晨，我起来搞卫生吃饭，我的第一件事就是写书法作业，我拿起笔正准备要写，发现纸快没了，我就告诉奶奶，奶奶找了一本计算本。他在纸上画了格子，只不过格子太多，比我字帖上的格子还要多，我告诉奶奶，奶奶说：“没事，多练几个字。”这叫“几个字”吗？不过我只得听从命令，写完后终于可以休息了，这个时间已近中午，我们吃完饭就各忙各的。我当然是玩啦，我感觉一点也不好玩，我就无聊的在本子上画来画去……

Before I entered the middle school, I felt so worried about the life in

middle school, because my cousin told me that I would have to compete with so

many excellent students. Now I get used to the life, I learn many subjects from

My Happy Times During Winter Vacation

I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during winter vacation. They are both seventy years old and live in the country happily. I can do many interesting things there. I am used to getting up early in the morning and breathing the fresh air in the countryside. After snow, I would like to skate and ski with my friends. When night comes, I am used to sitting by the fire and listening to grandma telling me many funny stories. And I tell her some new things happening in the city. When I have to go back, I am always reluctant to go. I really feel happy living in the country.

这几年，许多同学都在假期补课，而且从来没有补过，由于我喜欢玩，不喜欢学习。眼看着新的假期又要来了，我们班上的许多同学都在报名被课。有的同学喜欢补数学；有的同学喜欢补作文；大多数同学喜欢补英语，由于英语太难啦！对我来讲，英语好像从来没有及格过，看着同学们都积极学习的样子，我也有些心动了。

到了补课其间，我们每个人都准备了新的笔记本，将老师讲的每一个要点都记了下来。因为在这里补课的同学还有其他班上的同学，所以学习热情很高涨，我也不好意思玩了。别的同学做什么，我就做什么，反正自己也没有好的学英语方法，所以现在就是我最好的学习机会。

差不多一个月的时间，我的英语水平提高了许多，最后的测试分数不再是倒数第一，我终于进步了。当我拿着成绩让爸爸妈妈看进，他们一直夸我有进步，并要继续努力。当时，我的心里乐滋滋的，非常感谢假期补英语的生活。

每到暑假，我总喜欢到乡下二姨家去玩。因为在那里，有许多在城里见不到的趣事。

在二姨家的田地里，有一个很大的土堆，上面有很多拳头大的洞，我和几个小伙伴经过仔细辨认，确定那是野兔的窝。我们想捉住几只野兔来养，于是，大家拿来稻草在洞口点燃，还拼命地把烟往里扇。不一会儿，烟就从另一个洞里冒出来了，大家被熏得直流泪，就是不见有兔子的影子。难道这里面没有兔子?正当我们纳闷时，就听见里面有动静，我刚想趴下看看，“嗖”的一声，几只兔子窜了出来，吓了我一跳。接着，我们马上追了出去，可是，我们哪是兔子的对手啊，一眨眼的功夫，兔子跑得无影无踪了。尽管没有捉住兔子，但是，我们都觉得特别开心。

有一天，村里的二胖带我们去抓田鸡(学名叫虎纹蛙)。我们刚到小河边，我就看到了一只田鸡，它朝赵亮那边跳去，我大喊：“赵亮，快抓，快抓呀!” 赵亮猛得扑向田鸡，由于用力过猛，他一下子扑进了稻田里，弄了一身污泥 ，看到他那个狼狈的样子，我们都哈哈大笑起来。更搞笑的是，和我一块儿来的沙文琪，他压根儿就没见过田鸡，竟捉了几只青蛙来充数。

Im in No.8 Middle School in Guizhong province.Because Im in Grade 9 now, I must compete with my classmates. So I have a busy school life.

I often get up at 6:30 to go to school every week day .I feel tired because I cannot have enough sleep.I have to burn the midnight oil at ningt because of too much homework and much books.I have 4 classes in the morning and 3 in the afternoon.I have 2 evening classes in the evening as well.I can have a nap at noon.
