US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the number of Chinese applicants for investment immigration has exceeded applications from any other country or region.

So why do so many of the rich in China choose to move out? How will this country be affected by the so called “migration tide”.

Better education and robust law system are among what they are looking for overseas. In a violent contrast to Chinese rocketing economy, our education level is still left far behind that of some foreign country, especially the US. People who have made wealth in the past 30 years and subsequently seek better education for the future of their children, join the migration army. Secondly, unlike some who concern about children education much more, other rich people pay more attention to the security of their asset. They are worrying about their asset safety in China, and strongly believe that, under the protection of foreign laws which are nearly to perfection, they will live a life of ease.

It can be seen that after obtaining great deal of wealth, rich people in China are obviously pursuing a better living condition, either for their children or themselves. So the question is raised that will this emigration affect China negatively. I say yes, but not as seriously as many think.

China witnessed two migration tides before, one in the late70’s, another early 90’s.From these two, the nowadays migration differs in some aspects. The emigrants are no longer poor students only with a resolution to bring back to their motherland cutting edge science and technology overseas, instead they wave goodbyes to China taking with them substantial wealth and many of them are still top-notch intellectuals. It is almost certain that, from this perspective, emigration will undermine China on the way to her rise. However, in my perspective of view, this kind of migration will in some way make China much more influential in the world. The current western world still knows China too little, especially in terms of common citizens. Citing India for example, we can see a similar tide took place in India in the 60’s, which once drew attention and concerns in Indian government and society. Several decades later, these Indian emigrants still keep in bond with their motherland, and improve the image of Indians, thus lift the status of India in the world. So I expect Chinese emigrants will also contribute to China’s success in a different but profound way.

Migration tide this time indicates that China, who is on the way of great economy increase, still has more flaws to be perfected, when compared with some developed countries. But we needn’t worry too much. Maybe it’s not a bad thing when looking back several decades later.

I think everyone likes weekend. Because it’s time for relax and fun. Now I want to talk about my weekend.

I often spend Saturday for fun. Such as playing basketball with my friends, watching movies and TV shows, having a trip with family and so on. And I always spend Sunday for homework and have some rest. Sometimes I visit my grandparents with my parents. It’s very interesting to visit them.

五一小长假时，爸爸妈妈带我回乡下奶奶家住几天。

早上，我还在被窝里做美梦，奶奶家的公鸡喔喔喔、喔喔喔地叫，叫声极其响亮，把我给吵醒了。我在床上翻来覆去，赖床好久也没有再睡着，只好穿上衣服起来。

吃完早饭，我在家门口玩，看见早上把我吵醒的那只公鸡正在石子路上惬意地散步。看着它那副享受的模样，我突然有点气愤。早上你害我没做成美梦，现在却在这里悠闲地散步，我也不是好欺负的，我要让你付出代价。我的脸上露出了一丝狡猾的微笑。

我随手捡起一块小石头，悄悄向公鸡逼近。我举起手中的石头，准备向它发射。它猛一回头，看见我举起石头要砸它，以百米赛跑的速度逃开了。

别以为我会这样就放过你，好戏才刚刚开始。

那只公鸡见我没有追上来，放慢了脚步。它以为自已已经摆脱了我，脱离了危险，又骄傲地昂首挺胸地在石子路上大踏步地走来走去。它不知道，我又想好了一个整它的鬼点子。

我跑到屋里，从行李箱里拿出了一把发射皮筋的小手枪。皮筋打在鸡身上，不会使它破皮流血，但会很疼。这次我吸取教训了，不离它很近，以免被它发现。

那只公鸡正在空地上休息，全然不知危险快要降临在它的身上了。我瞄准目标，对鸡连射了好几枪。皮筋接触到鸡的身体时，它猛地跳起来，疼得仓皇而逃。我看到它这个样子，觉得很好笑，用骄傲的语气说：“让你打扰我做美梦，现在付出代价了吧！”

在初秋一个早晨，秋高气爽，我们从城市出发，坐车去山阳的外婆家。

我坐在车上观赏两边的风景，不一会儿，高楼大厦渐渐离我们远去。我们上了高速，我们穿过大山的肚子“隧道”，山区的风景也被快速掠过，只觉得山就在鼻子跟前。

当我看到了一片片田地，视野开阔起来，山坡上散落着很多的民居，我知道离外婆家近了。湛蓝如洗的天空上，白云像鱼鳞一样漂浮着，我想起了一句谚语：天上鱼鳞斑，晒谷不用翻。

一个小时后，我们就到了位于小山村里的外婆家。这时我们看见大山围着我们，就像母亲抱着小孩儿一样。村里有一大片果园，种着苹果、葡萄、还有核桃。果子快成熟了，红彤彤的苹果像小孩的脸一样，一串串葡萄像翡翠一样晶莹剔透，青皮的核桃就像一颗颗鹅卵石。

从山上看田地，就像豆腐块儿一样，面对高耸的山，茂盛的树木给山好像穿上了一件绿色衣服，山脚下有一条小河蜿蜒而过。于是我们一家人准备下河去捉鱼。爸爸妈妈提议说，谁抓得多谁就胜利了，晚上吃烤鱼。可是在抓鱼时，我被姐姐推下了河，因为我属牛，姐姐还喊着，爸爸妈妈，看水牛！我们一家人都笑了起来。我们数了一下抓的鱼，有九条。我很开心。我们把小鱼放进了带来的鱼缸里，我一数只有八条。可为什么是八条呢？另外一条在哪儿呢？原来是姐姐偷偷把一条小鱼给猫吃了。

那天下午，我和姐姐还偷吃了邻居种的苹果，酸酸甜甜，可好吃了。晚上我们在院子里吃烧烤，烤玉米可香了。

第二天早上，起雾，山被一圈浓浓的白雾笼罩着，好像给山上戴了一顶帽子，又好像是谁把山尖给切没了，还像是山间被小偷被藏起来了一样……缥缈又美丽。

但我们要回家了，我是那么喜欢乡村，因为乡村让我觉得快乐和自在。纵然我心里有许多留恋，我还是依依不舍地离开了，可我知道，还会回来的！

乡下，是我最向往的地方，那里空气清新，树木茂盛，是净化心灵的圣地。

春天，来到乡村，映入眼帘的是那金黄的油菜花。他们随着微风，优美地舞蹈着。沿着小路往前走，有一块麦田。麦田里，小麦一片葱绿，仿佛绿色的海洋。这里的空气有着树叶和泥土的味道，城市里的空气带有刺鼻的油烟味，和这里截然不同。几场春雨过后，一片片的麦苗呼呼的疯长，好像是在比谁长得更快。满眼的绿色是那么新鲜，路边的野花争相开放，争奇斗艳，闭上眼睛深吸口气，啊!真香呀!好舒服!真想躺在草地上舒舒服服的打个盹，那就太美了!一群勤劳的农民伯伯在绿油油的地里给麦子施肥，农民伯伯都是满头大汗，他们多辛苦啊!我们一定要好好的珍惜粮食，不能浪费粮食，要做个节约粮食的好学生!

瞧，在一条清澈见底的小河里，有一群可爱的雪白的小鸭子在那里欢快地戏水。它们有的仰起头，竖起尾巴，在河里高傲地游着，像一位挺直腰的军官;有的鸭子在梳理自己雪白的羽毛，像一位漂亮的公主在打扮自己;有的把头扎进水里，像一位潜水员在潜水;有的呆呆的把头向水面望，似乎自言自语地说：“你是谁呀，怎么跟我长的一模一样。”这些鸭子可爱的像一群顽皮的孩子，这使我想起了：“白毛浮绿水，红掌拨清波”这句诗。

这就是乡下，美丽的乡下，乡村的景色真是又独特又迷人,是不是你也流连忘返?

在许多人的眼中，城里全是高楼大厦，没有一丁点儿农作物。只有在郊外才能偶尔看到少部分的农作物。而在乡村就不一样了，大批大批的农作物，保你看得眼花缭乱，目瞪口呆。还有新鲜的空气向你扑鼻而来，别提有多舒适了。

春天到了，村子里面空空的，人们都去田地里面插秧了，只有花儿的芬香，小草的活力和那生机勃勃的大树，自在，悠然。

夏天，池塘里的荷花都开了。他们竞相绽放，犹如穿上了一件件雪白的连衣裙。清澈的河水叮叮咚咚地响着，仿佛荷花是主唱，河水在给他们伴奏，好一个美妙的音乐会！别提有多享受了。

秋天，田野里稻谷成熟了。它们一个个弯着腰，仿佛在给我们行礼呢！果园里也是丰收一片。苹果笑红了脸，梨子成群结队地挂在枝头，柿子像一个个小灯笼，别提多美丽了。

清晨，公鸡一如既往的在太阳升起的时候“喔喔”的叫着，像是对人们的：“该起床了，起床了!”这一天就开始了，人们又忙碌起来了。当清晨的第一滴露珠掉落在地上的时候，农民伯伯已经在田里插秧，除草了;村里放羊的小孩已经躺在草地上哼着歌曲放羊了;村里的大娘大婶们在小溪边“啪啪啪”地用木条敲衣服，洗衣服了。踏着一条小径走进田野，迎面吹来令人舒畅的清风，风儿像个顽皮的小孩子，在绿油油的田野里跳着欢快的舞蹈，把苗儿也吸引得跳了起来。放眼望去，一望无际的田野里变成了绿色的波浪涌上肥沃的泥土，让人看了心旷神怡，烦恼都能抛到九霄云外。

晚上，吃过晚饭，风吹来，带着田野里的泥土的气息悄悄地走过来了……回想白天的田野我觉得田野在晚上时变得更加生机勃勃了。萤火虫在田野里飞舞;蛙这位歌手，准备在田野里一展歌喉;萤火虫当灯光师;蟋蟀在一旁伴奏，歌曲像一股灵泉从田野里流出来，这时只有在田里动物才能演奏出来的歌曲啊!多么美妙啊!抬头看那皎洁的月光，如同一个大玉盘镶嵌在蓝色的天空中，月光洒在地上时，我不由得想起李白的诗句“床前明月光，疑是地上霜。”

乡村的生活真是美妙啊!

乡村就是这样，虽然没有城市的繁华，但是那种自由的生活令人向往。“儿童急走追黄蝶，飞入菜花无处寻”的美景，更是让人想去乡村感受那种生活。

乡间小路的旁边，总有小溪围绕着，就像蛋黄总有一层蛋白围绕着。河水哗啦哗啦的，像是有人在唱歌似的，走近会感觉一阵清爽扑面而来！走近走近再走近，伸出手摸摸河水，凉凉的，如果夏天捧些水往脸上一扑，那感觉一定很好！清澈的河水里，水草点缀了小河，有些水草长在岸上，纹丝不动；在水里的草，跟着水流的方向摆动。

令人向往的是秋天的麦田，金黄金黄的。远处看，好似金黄的地毯；走近闻，浓浓的稻香气味扑面而来。麦田里，熟了的麦子弯下了腰，在向人们频频点头。听到那“叭啦叭啦”的声音，是饱满的麦穗压弯了麦秆发出的丰收的声音。再去摸摸干穗子，里面有会跳的昆虫，在之间跳过来跳过去。风吹时，麦田在翩翩起舞，昆虫就被弹送到另一根麦穗上。

是啊！“儿童未解供耕织，也傍桑阴学种瓜”，农时那种景色与自由真令人向往！

乡村游记(A TRIP TO the COUNTRY)

One Sunday my mother (Mother) had (made) me take my little young brother to the a trip to the country. She bade me take good care of him.

While we were walking along the road, the sun was shining brightly and the breeze was blowing gently. We saw the beautiful flowers smile (smiling) at us and heard the birds sing (singing) their sweet songs on the trees. The scenery was indeed very pretty (beautiful).

When we felt tired, we returned home. We saw Mother (our mother) wait (waiting) for us at the door.

有一个星期日，我母亲叫我带小弟弟去乡村游历。她吩咐我要好好照料他。

当我们沿着道路行走的时候，太阳灿烂地照耀着，微风轻轻地吹着。我们看见美丽的花儿对我们微笑着，并听见鸟儿在树上唱着悦耳的歌曲，风景实十分美丽。

当我们感觉到疲倦的时候，我们就回家了。我们看见母样正在门口等候我们。

My school life is very common. I get up at six o’clock every morning from Monday to Friday. And the I would go running with my classmates, as our head teacher says health is the most important thing. After running I have to do morning exercises on the playground. Then I can have breakfast. Having breakfast, I need to have morning reading. Oh, I almost forget that all of the students have to do some cleaning before breakfast. There come the various classes. Then noon comes. Having lunch, I will go to sleep. I often read twenty minutes before I fall asleep. I have class in the afternoon. And I still have classes at night. It’s boring, right? But I have got used to it and enjoy myself at school.

The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study. I assigned my

homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in

time. And during my winter vacation, we welcome the most important festival in

China—Spring Festival, it’s also called Chinese New Year by lots of

foreigners.

At that night, our family came together and had a big meal. Of course we

had dumplings that night, because that is our Chinese traditional. We then watch

the CCTV spring festival evening party together and watch the beautiful

fireworks. That’s the happiest time in this world! The winter vacation I had

dreamed all year around was finally coming. And I really enjoyed a lot from

it.

The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study. I assigned my

homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in

time. I also arranged myself the books and words I need to read and recite.

Secondly, I took some extracurricular activities and read some English original

reading. My favorite book is , written by Sherlock Holmes. Among all the

classical movies, the Sound of Music was the most exciting one. During my

holidays I also made some assistance for my physical class teacher, surely I met

lots of difficulties in this stage and from which I knew what perseverance

really was. Lastly, I went to the temple fair and was lucky to taste several

Chinese traditional dishes; “Jiaohua chicken” is one of them. It is said it

originated from Hangzhou centuries ago, made by a famous beggar Hong Qi Gong,

the senior leader of Beggar Gang.Steamed with fresh lotus leaf wrapped up,it is

famous for its special aroma and taste. Now that the holiday is ending and a new

semester is coming, I need to fresh up and get started to embrace the upcoming

challenges.

乡村生活是多姿多彩的，它是一道彩虹，带给我们欢乐;它是一道阳光，照进我们的心灵。

早晨，吵醒你的不是烦人的闹钟，而是公鸡和小鸟的欢叫声，你走到外面，会看见一下有趣的画面：一只母鸡带着一群小鸡在房前屋后觅食;竹林中许多竹笋慢慢地钻出泥土;田野上，小草在微风中傲然挺立;农场里，人们辛苦地耕着田，种着青菜;羊群安祥地吃着草……

中午，老人们在村里的石桌石椅上，悠闲地下棋，小孩们在林中嬉戏，在草地上摔跤、翻跟头……玩得不亦乐乎。

到了傍晚，如果你去乡村散步，你会看见乡下人吃饭的场景，他们把桌椅饭菜搬到门前，高兴地吃起来。鸡鸭鹅悠闲地在房前屋后散步。

乡下人家，不论什么时候，什么季节，都有一道独特、迷人的风景。
