4. 养成积累词语的习惯

日记是对生活中方方面面的事情的描述和感想的表达，所以写日记要用到单词面很广，这就要求英语学习者在平时要养成积累单词的好习惯，而把记忆的单词运用到日记中更是起到温故作用。值得注意的是，在写日记时，我们都会遇到很多不会写的单词。这时千万不要就此止步，而要先空出来，或者用拼音代替，等一篇日记写完了再查词典不上所缺的单词，并且重点记忆这些单词。这是通过这样的方式，我们才能更快地积累单词和提高英语水平。

5. 英语日记中的缩写与省略

过了几天，不知道妈妈什么时候学会了广东做鱼的方法，做了一条清蒸鲈鱼，颜色很好看，说：“这是妈妈自己买的哦，你得试一下哦”， 。妈妈先是勺了点汤倒在我的饭里，我吃了点，的确很好吃，妈妈看了笑的发出了声音，又往我的碗里夹了块鱼说：“没有刺，放心吃吧”。从那以后我喜欢吃鱼了。我和爸爸吃完后，留给妈妈的常常是-----“鱼翅”，当然还有我吃不完的饭。

我慢慢地长大了，上学了。每每涌读“锄禾日当午，汗滴禾下土，谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦。”对我都是一次感动，渐渐的我的碗里不再有剩菜剩饭，妈妈也和我们一起吃饭了，但仍然喜欢看着我吃饭，时不时地往我的碗里夹鱼，排骨，胡萝卜，青菜好多好吃的。
