to stroll with on the streets, extremely excited. "Guessing lantern riddles"is

an essential part of the Festival.

Lantern owners write riddles on a piece of paper and post them on the

lanterns. If visitors have solutions to the riddles, they can pull the paper out

and go to the lantern owners to check their answer. If they are right, they will

get a little gift. The activity emerged during peoples enjoyment of lanterns in

the Song Dynasty (960-1279). As riddle guessing is interesting and full of

wisdom, it has become popular among all social strata.

People will eat yuanxiao, or rice dumplings, on this day, so it is also

called the "Yuanxiao Festival."Yuanxiao also has another name, tangyuan. It is

small dumpling balls made of glutinous rice flour with rose petals, sesame, bean

paste, jujube paste, walnut meat, dried fruit, sugar and edible oil as filling.

Tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. It tastes sweet and delicious. What’s

more, tangyuan in Chinese has a similar pronunciation with "tuanyuan”, meaning

reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the

family.

In the daytime of the Festival, performances such as a dragon lantern

dance, a lion dance, a land boat dance, a yangge dance, walking on stilts and

beating drums while dancing will be staged. On the night, except for magnificent

lanterns, fireworks form a beautiful scene. Most families spare some fireworks

from the Spring Festival and let them off in the Lantern Festival. Some local

governments will even organize a fireworks party. On the night when the first

full moon enters the New Year, people become really intoxicated by the imposing

fireworks and bright moon in the sky.

兵马俑，即秦始皇兵马俑，是第一批中国世界遗产。兵马俑1974年3月在陕西省西安市被发现。

俑是被作为古代的一种陪葬品而出现，俑有战车、马匹、士兵三种类型，兵马俑由三个主要的坑组成，其中一号坑最为宏伟，有6000多个兵马俑呢!

兵马俑不但壮观，而且十分逼真。看，这就是将军俑，他身材魁梧，头戴鹤冠，身上披着战袍，手里还执着宝剑，好像还在战场上英勇杀敌呢。这个身披铠甲，骑在马背上的士兵就是骑兵俑，他手里拿着弓箭，正视前方，只要一声令下，他就会与匈奴士兵决一死战。让我印象最深刻的就是陶马俑。一匹匹健壮的战马栩栩如生，跃跃欲试。虽然经过许多年的岁月洗礼，颜色没有当初那么艳丽，但依稀可以想象出那时的色彩斑斓。好像我也骑上了战马奔赴战场，过了好长时间，我才从梦境中回到了现实。

今天夜晚的月亮虽然不是很圆，但很明亮。因为明天是国庆节，为了庆祝建国60周年，所以郑州新区要举行大型的烟花表演。

吃过晚饭后，我和一大群小伙伴们，一路小跑，来到了郑州新区。前来观看烟花的人很多，人们在一起谈天说地，显得热闹非凡。我的心情很激动，心里就像开了花一样，我期待着烟花早点开始在空中绽放。

顿时，水花四溅，犹如盛开的白莲，敌人立马被我浇成了落汤鸡。敌人哪里肯示弱?变本加厉地向我们喷水，只觉得如注的水流喷涌而来，呀，原来他们用的是“大炮”，比我们的水枪威力大得多，就连妈妈的伞都被打骨折了。再看看我们自己，全部都湿透了，水还在身上滴滴答答往下流呢!真是“透心凉，心里慌”啊!看来“工欲善其事，必先利其器”这句话一点儿也不假，在“大炮”面前，我们立马败下阵来。

我在家里看动画片《羊村历险记》的时候，看着看着就睡着了。

美羊羊最爱美，最会挑衣服。我最喜欢她。

突然，一个柔柔的声音传来了，“走吧，我带你去挑选衣服。”

我说：“要把我打扮漂亮一点哦。”“那当然了。”说着，她展开她的两只粉红色的翅膀，带我飞了出去。我紧紧地闭上眼睛，因为我有点恐高了。渐渐地，我胆大了一点。哇!行人小得像蚂蚁一样，车子像火柴盒一样。我感觉天空和白云已经离我不远了。飞了一会儿，她停在一家服装店，并说：“到了。”我迫不及待地进了那家服装店，在那里，有许多漂亮的衣服。我恨不得有几百只眼睛，好让我一次看个够。美羊羊给我挑了一件漂亮的裙子。突然，一个问题闪过我的脑海里，我急忙说：“我们没钱啊!”“没事，这事交给我。”说着，她从粉红色的小包里取出一张会员卡，交给店主，让我换上了新衣服。随后，她又给我换了一个新发型。“美羊羊，你真好!”“不客气，我觉得还少一样东西。”美羊羊说。她从包里取出一个王冠，在阳光下闪闪发光，她给我戴上了。“等一下，我觉得还是差点什么。”“我知道了。”说着，她又带我飞了起来。我心想：飞的感觉真好。微风吹在我的身上，真凉爽啊!美羊羊停在一家卖鞋的店，她让我挑了一双鞋，把会员卡交给了店主，让我把鞋穿上了。然后，她又给我买了一串项链，帮我戴上了。“现在，我是最美的人了。”我开心地说道。

一阵“叽叽喳喳”的声音传来，我突然醒了，原来是个梦啊!我真想和她在一起，哪怕一天也行。

于是，老师说：“你真的忘了吗?”他还很自信地说：“嗯，我真的忘了在家。”老师说：“为什么每次检查都忘了?”他说：“那我不知道怎么回事?”于是老师让我检查他的书包。我还没来得及找，他的词汇表就出现了。现在，他的谎言被揭穿了。我一查，他好几节课都没上完。难怪我忘了在家。

嘿!这个同桌，以前每次都没写完的时候，骗我，忘了在家。我怪你这么信任你。原来，你一直在骗我!

说到母亲节，我们马上会想到在母亲节那一天，为自己的母亲送上一份礼物，让她在那一天心里比吃了蜜还甜。

5月8日是母亲节，今天早上，我早早起了床，用飞毛腿的速度，跑到了超市，特意为母亲买了一个大蛋糕，上门写了母亲节三个大字。回到家，母亲起了床，我对母亲说：“妈妈，节日快乐!我，您的女儿，现在为您献上一支花，祝您能够永远像花这么漂亮。”

随后，我们切开蛋糕，用奶油，把母亲画成了怪物。用白色奶油把脸刷白，用红色奶油将母亲的眼睛围着画了一圈。就在这个时候，我已经忘记了欢乐，而是想起了母亲每天拖着疲惫的身体工作着。母亲，您辛苦了，母亲我永远爱您!
