My mom used to say that I was born to swim. But the truth is that I didn t know how to swim until the last year of my primary school!

An Unforgettable Experience

There are various activities in the college, such as hiking, gathering, competitions and so on. And what impresses me most is my experience of being a volunteer teacher.

I was a freshman when the School of Foreign Languages organized a voluntary activity which aimed at providing children in poor areas with a better education. As a matter of fact, I did not show any interest in this activity, for I thought that I just wasted my time and energy without getting any pay. But finally I followed the trend and went to the interview for a try. To my surprise, I was eolled as a member of the teaching group. I became quite excited and made up my mind to prepare for the class as well as I could. I read their textbook again and again to make sure that I was familiar with the language points. What’s more, I searched on the Internet for some additional information, which I thought would help me a lot in the class. At that time, I really could not wait to give the lecture.

Fortunately, it didn’t keep me waiting too long. It was a sunny day. And we spent almost an hour in the bus. Although I was tired and sleepy, my enthusiasm overwhelmed my tiredness. The school is a small place full of various books. The children there were so lovely that they left me a deep impression. They keep asking me

questions about study and they were also curious about the college life. I was quite happy surrounded by a group of children.

I really benefit a lot from the unforgettable experience. I realize that money and some material things should not be considered as the most important thing in our life. It is the self-realization that really makes our life meaningful. Although I did not get any material things from this activity, I was very happy for what I did for the children. 前两天我做了B超、化验大小便、拍胸片、验血……烦都烦死了。

终于到了手术那天，我从20楼坐电梯到了3楼，医生先给我打了流质针，再把我推进手术室，手术之前，里面的阿姨说：“他的眼睛好大哦！长大一定是个帅哥！”在说话间我已经睡着了。

我做了一个梦以后，迷迷糊糊地听见有人说：“醒醒了！”医生说，要六个小时才能睡觉、吃东西。

六个小时里，我的麻醉药还没过去，鼻孔里还塞着塑料管，就一直坚持到底，妈妈鼓励我说：“一定要和睡魔战斗。”不知道怎么的，肚子好痛，妈妈问医生怎么回事，医生说：“我在麻醉药里放了一种像翻江倒海丸一样的东西，帮助护胃的。”终于，六个小时过去了，我舒了一口气。我又在医院休息了九天，就出院了。

在车里，我心想：这一次把扁桃体切除了，以后都不用去医院了。

刚五点钟，我就被妈妈的金嗓子叫起来了。妈妈让我和姐姐一起包饺子，妈妈从厨房里拿出饺子皮和肉馅，我们就开始包了，妈妈和姐姐包得又白又胖，我却包的又黑又瘦。这时，爸爸看见了笑着说：“你妈妈和姐姐包的是“白天鹅”，你包的是“丑小鸭”。”我假装生气的说：“我包的才好看呢!一个个多苗条。”妈妈说：“别生气，来我教你吧。”妈妈一边对我讲怎么包饺子，一边拿着手里的饺子皮比划，不一会儿，我就学会了，也包了几个又白又胖的“白天鹅”。爸爸又拿了两枚一角钱的硬币让妈妈包到饺子里。饺子包完了，“下饺子了”，爸爸说到。看着一只只“白天鹅”在游泳，别提我心里有多高兴了。饺子煮好了，妈妈一碗碗盛出来端到餐桌上，说：“看谁今年有福气，吃到钱饺子。”我随便端了一碗就吃起来了。“哎呦!什么东西叮着我的牙了?”我吐出一看，“呀!我吃到钱饺子了!”我高兴地一蹦三尺高。爸爸说：“你别闹了，你知道春节是怎么来的吗?我给你们讲讲吧。”

去年春节那一天，我与哥哥还有妈妈去天香公园玩，因为是节日，公园里人山人海，最多的要数带孩子玩的年轻父母，人人都穿戴一新，喜气洋洋，小朋友们手拿糖葫芦、棉花糖在一个个游乐设施门前排起长队。

妈妈先带我们玩了比较“文静”的钓鱼、掷飞镖、捏面人，然后又陪我们玩了惊险刺激的‘太空漫步’、"激流勇进’与”“过山车”。其中最惊险，最难忘的要数过山车了……

我与哥哥买了一张双人票，妈妈恐高，说什么也不玩这个游戏，我与哥哥一边嘲笑她是胆小鬼，一边与大家一起沿一架铁梯子登上一座五六米的高台，再从高台跨进车厢里。一位服务员大哥哥帮我们系上了安全带，又帮我们扣紧了车厢门。车缓缓开动了，刚开始还稳稳的，不一会渐渐加速，越冲越快越冲越陡，忽尔，一个急转弯!车子就像失去控制，马上要翻车一样，车上的人都尖叫起来，忽尔急冲直上，几乎垂直的上坡，乘客都像倒吊在空中一样，天啊!太惊悚了，忽尔一个俯冲，车子玩命似的直扎谷底，我的脑子一片空白，心脏象被谁紧紧捏住了一样，手只知道死死地攥住把手，帽子早被风吹掉了，脸、脖子，一片冰凉，手心却出了汗。哥哥坐在我身旁，表现出一副无所谓的样子，可他紧握扶手的手却在微微发抖!

好容易车停下来，我像面条一样软绵绵的下了车，把入口当成了出口，迷迷糊糊地回到了地上，出了一身的冷汗……

这就是一件难忘的事，它在我的记忆中像一颗小小水晶，散发着光芒。

I was born on May 19,xxx.Every birthday receive presents such as toys,candy ang books from my parents and friends.But this birthday is different.

Onthe morning of my fourteenth birthday, I got up earlier than usual to make breakfast for my parents. I wanted to give them a surprise. this is the first time I have got up earlier than my parents and made breakfast for them.And I will never forget their smiling faces when tey saw what Idid for them.
