Since I went to college, I have made many friends and we shared the same interest. My friends and I liked traveling so much. We decided to travel abroad. The destination was Thailand. We spent ten days there and had a nice trip. It was such an unforgettable trip, and I learned a lot.

因为这天是鸡年的第一天，饺子也有所不同，开始分工了。奶奶和妈妈要把面擀成一片一片的，然后递给我和大伯，我俩要负责把馅包进里面，然后要往几个饺子里放上一个杏仁，这样才体现出来过年的有趣。你虽然看着简单，但动起手来可是很难的，可不能小瞧这饺子!我洗好了手，拿起筷子就往面皮里面放馅，大伯嘲笑我说：“你会不会包啊?”“我当然会包。”我自信满满地说。我抓起一片面皮托在手里，用筷子弄一下馅，放进面片面，然后对折一下，哈哈，一个饺子就包好了。可是这饺子太小了，我问了问大伯“为什么我包的饺子那么小?”“因为你的馅太少了。”知道了原因，我又开始包第二个饺子，这次我往面里放了好多馅，再对折一捏。天呐，露馅了，我赶紧拿筷子把馅弄回去，因为这一次又太多馅了。看来，我得先学学乐。大伯教我先要用筷子弄一小勺，然后感觉一下，如果少，就再弄一勺这样肯定刚好，经过大伯的一番指点后，包出来的饺子真的不露馅了!学好后，我往是个饺子里面各放一个杏仁，谁吃到了，谁就很幸运。

香喷喷的饺子出锅了，我赶紧拿起筷子去夹一个饺子，真香!可惜没有杏仁，我老爸真幸运，第一次吃就吃到了。之后，姐姐和妈妈也吃到杏仁，就我还没吃到，老爸看我还没有吃到，他就随便夹到一个饺子，他用筷子一夹，感觉里面有一个杏仁，就赶紧给我吃。我终于吃到杏仁了。

这真是一个难忘的夜晚，它将永远留在我心里，伴随着我。

I was a freshman when the School of Foreign Languages organized a voluntary activity which aimed at providing children in poor areas with a better education. 新年即将到了！我们一家三口回家乡和爷爷、奶奶家过年，还可以和我的好朋友赖可仪玩，我心里甭提有多开心啦

年三十晚，我洗完了澡，欢天喜地地穿上了新鞋、新衣、新裙子，在镜子前一照，美丽得像个公主！我兴高采烈邀赖可仪到我家放冲天炮。我们在屋前的空地，先把一支冲天炮放到一根空心棍里，然后拿起打火机点燃“引信”后，冲天炮霎时间飞到了半空中，接着“啪！”的一声炸开了，真好玩！我们玩得欢呼雀跃，又多放了几支冲天炮和烟花。直到妈妈喊：“唯唯，回家放鞭炮，吃团圆饭了！”我们依依不舍地离开，并约好等吃完饭再玩。

我喜欢团团圆圆的中秋节，也喜欢热闹非凡的元宵节，但我最喜欢的是合家团圆其乐融融的春节。

除夕之夜，家人都在厨房里忙着包饺子，我也凑热闹。我看见母亲在擀皮、奶奶在包饺子，看着看着我的心里就痒痒了，心想：这有什么难的，我也会包。

于是，我便拿起饺子皮，照着奶奶的样子包起来，可是，包出的饺子不但丑陋而且还露馅。奶奶看见我包的饺子就笑了说；“大孙子不会包饺子啊，让奶奶来教你。”我看着奶奶的样子，心中不由得升起了敬意，然后我又照着奶奶的样子包了起来，包出的饺子果然变的好看些了。这时，我又看见父亲再往饺子放一块钱的硬币，我问父亲：“为什么要往饺子里放钱呢？”父亲说：“如果在大年三十的晚上，能在吃饺子的时候吃到钱，那么这一年里就会发大财，如果吃到糖，那么这一年的日子就甜甜蜜蜜。”我一听，觉的挺有意思。接着母亲又把饺子放入了锅里，我就问母亲：“饺子什么时候好啊？”母亲笑吟吟地说：“一会就好了。”过了一会，饺子出锅了，我吃了两个也没有吃到钱，正着急的时候，就听见爷爷说：“我吃到钱了！”我这下子真的急了又吃了五六个，正当心灰意冷的吃下最后一个的时候，奇迹发生了，我吃到了糖！我高兴的大喊；我这一年里要发大财了！’爷爷奶奶听了，哈哈大笑。

每年过年都过的特别有意思，明年过年我希望我们全家人到大连一起去旅游过年，那就可以领略更多的过年风俗习惯了！

The Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. It is on January 1st according to the Chinese lunar calendar(中国的农历). It’s China’s New Year’s Day. So usually a month before the festival people begin to buy food clothes and decorations(装饰) for houses.

About a week before the festival housewives are busy preparing the new year dinner. And they will do a lot of washing and cleaning in the houses. People who are far away on business are hurrying to return home for the new year’s family reunion（团聚）.

On New Year Eve each family will gather tighter eating talking and watching TV for almost the whole night. And there will be some interesting programmes on TV. The children are the happiest of all because they can get presents from parents or grandparents.

On Lunar New Year’s Day after getting up people will eat dumplings. When they meet their neighbours or friends they’ll say: “Happy New Year!”

盼啊！盼啊，终于盼来了春节。瞧，人们个个喜气洋洋，个个精神饱满。逛街的人络绎不绝，有的在买新衣，有的春联，有的在办年货……街上热闹非凡。

时钟指向八点了，全家人聚集在大客厅看《春节联欢晚会》，“哈哈哈”一阵阵欢乐的笑声不时地荡漾在客厅里。

新年的钟声还没敲响，烟花就迫不急待从地上“轰，轰，轰”地腾起，向人们报告新年的来临。它真美啊，有的像弯弯的垂柳，有的像天上落下的流星雨，有的像天上绽放的锦花，更让所有人都惊叹不已的是这发烟花在天空中绽放出一张张圆圆的可爱的笑脸。

时间差不多了，送走了亲戚，也送走了牛年……

盼啊盼，眼看春节就快到了，想到这，我不由得笑了起来，在春节前，人们个个喜气洋洋，个个精神饱满。逛街的人络绎不绝，有的在买年画，有的在买年货，有的坐着火箱围着火炉看电视，还有的人在打麻将打扑克，等等不一而足。

人们杀猪宰羊，忙碌地准备着春节大吃大喝一番。

春节到了，小朋友们便早早起床，来到爸爸妈妈的房间，开始了传统的拜年仪式了。小朋友们对父母说着一些吉祥话儿，爸妈就拿出压岁钱，让小孩子们高高兴兴。大家都希望今年能够吉祥如意，招财进宝。

过年的味道，那是再熟悉不过的了。那鞭炮的声音，点响了春节的热闹。那饺子的味道，深深的吸引着我。

有美食，有鞭炮，自然少不了春晚的身影。一位位明星在上面油腔滑调的说着小品，台下的观众捧腹大笑。歌手们唱着动人的歌曲，观众们感动的泪流满面……这样的节目还有很多，数不胜数，重要的是，它能够给人们带来愉悦的心情。

Spring Festival is the most important holiday for Chinese people. Excitement and happiness are palpable this time of the year， and they reach the peak on lunar new year‘s eve.

Though the 15-day period， which starts with the first day of the lunar new year and ends on the 15th day (known as Lantern Festival)， is relatively long， it is the busiest time of the year for Chinese people. The arrangements they have to make for family reunions， buying necessities and preparing food keeps them busy throughout the holiday. Many of them travel back home and meet friends over dinner and drinks. The celebrations include decorating the house and setting off fireworks.

But we are talking about a tradition that seems to be fading.Spring Festival， as it is celebrated today， has undergone many changes， thanks to the country‘s economic development and globalization.

Yet no Spring Festival is complete without food. People could not get good food whenever they desired in earlier times， something that does not apply to society today. More often than not， people faced the risk of famine. The best time for people to celebrate was when food was available in plenty， and that was possible in spring， or the beginning of the lunar new year. That was the main reason why Spring Festival acquired such great importance among Chinese people.

But three decades of economic growth has ensured that people in China， except for those who are still poor， can enjoy a good meal whenever they want. Such has been the change in people‘s fortune that some have to be treated for obesity and other health problems associated with excessive eating.

In the past， celebrations were limited to events like song-and-dance duets in North China， dragon/lion dances in South China and fireworks， which required the joint efforts of the entire community. But economic development and urbanization seems to have weakened the social links among people. Many， especially those living in cities， are not interested in celebrating the festival with people they hardly know.

Many customs associated with Spring Festival have changed， too. In the past， people used to visit relatives and friends with gifts and lots of good wishes. Today， many people， especially the youth， use their cell phones or the Internet to send their good wishes and even "gifts" to their relatives and friends. Some may say this a sign that people have become less caring about their near and dear ones， but we should see this development as a time- and energy-saving exercise granted by the information age.

In recent times， many people have started praying for a career promotion or more money instead of invoking God or the Buddha for a healthy and long life and the welfare of their family. But the number of such people is decreasing now， which shows that people are becoming more reasonable.

To tell you the tr uth，I don t like the Spring Festival at all. When I was young I liked it very much，because I could had something tasty to eat during the Spring Festival，and I could enjoy very wonderful TV programmes，too，I also could had much free time during which I could did something I liked to do. I don t like it now， there are many reasons.

Firstly，I can t have a good time during the Festival. Every New Year s Eve something unpleasant often happens. Once I quarreled with my second brother.

Secondly，I can t relax myself during the Festival. I have to do many things，watch so many TV programmes， meet so many people，all these things make me very tired.

In my memory, there are so many unforgettable things, one of which keeps me in mind.

I remember that it was grade five, just beginning school last semester, I was often picky about eating, but also less training, malnutrition and cold. 在我的记忆中，有许许多多难忘的事，其中一件让我铬记于心。

记得那是五年级上学期刚开学，我由于吃饭常挑食，又少煅练，营养不良而导至感冒。当时，妈妈向付老师请了一天假，付老师听说我生病了，很担心，付老师交代我好好安心治病，等我病好了，她会来把落下的课给我补上，听了付老师的话我感动了。

第二天，我输完液，在家等着付老师来给我补课，可窗外下起了小雨，老师会来给我补课吗?我自言自语地说道：“老师不会来了吧!”就在这时，我隐约看见雨中的付老师向我走来。付老师来给我补课啦!我感动极了。下这么大的雨，付老师竟然还不忘记给我补课。

付老师一步步给我分析，一步步给我讲解，使我每一个地方，每一个细节都弄得明明白白、清清楚楚。我再一次感动了。

这件事情，虽然已经过去了很久，但我以前不会忘记，现在不会忘记，以后也不会忘记。

过年了！过年了！新一年来到了，你知道过年要吃什么东西吗？对了！要吃饺子，吃饺子是过年习俗之一。

大年三十晚上，我们全家人来到奶奶家，这时，妈妈说：“今年过年，咱们吃饺子吧！”大家都同意了。我们全家出动，爸爸压皮儿，奶奶，妈妈，姑姑，包饺子，妈妈对我说：“你也来包饺子吧！”我说：“好啊，我也正想学包饺子呢！”说着，我便拿起一块饺子皮，一股脑似放了一大块陷儿，使劲一捏，陷儿像小娃娃一样跳了出来，这时，妈妈对我说：“我来教你吧！”我点了点头，仔细看着妈妈动作，等妈妈做完，该我做了，我紧张极了，照着妈妈样子，我终于包出了一个半圆饺子，我心里了开了花，心里比吃了蜜还甜。这时，妈妈提议说：“要不咱们再包一个饺子，里面包个硬币，看谁吃到谁运气就好。”大家都一致同意了。包完饺子，奶奶就去下饺子了，过了一会儿，饺子熟了，妈妈给我盛了一碗，吃着自己包饺子，心里别提有多开心。

过年一定要吃饺子，因为饺子是代表团圆意思，包饺子既开心又有意义！

记得我在6岁的时侯，有一天晚上，身体一阵阵搔痒把我从睡梦中吵醒，我这儿挠挠，那儿挠，越挠越痒，难受死啦!妈妈以为是蚊子咬的，在房间里点上蚊香熏，在我身上喷了花露水、涂抹点清凉油就完事了。

第二天早上醒来，我发现身上还是很痒，而且双脚裸周围红肿。妈妈立刻带我到人民医院，挂号化验做B超，医生未检查出什么原因，建议去湖南省儿童医院进行确疹。

于是妈妈打电话给正在上班的爸爸，爸爸请假后开车陪我和妈妈去省儿童医院。医生初步检查和观察B超图片、化验结果，通知要住院观察。爸爸办好住院手续，我躺在病床上休息，后来医生说这种疾病叫过敏性紫殿，而且还要做胃镜检查，胃镜检查是用一根又长又粗的管子，从口腔、喉咙、食管到胃部插入进去，大人看到都感到害怕，莫说我当时还只有6岁。

“呜呜呜呜呜…”，还未开始我就害怕哭起来了，爸爸妈妈和医生不停的安慰鼓励我，然后把我按在病床上，医生说：“快按住她，别让她乱动”…，然后爸爸和舅舅配合医生对我检查。当胃境管插到胃部时，我的胃又痛又呕又吐，真的太难受啦，幸好很快就检查完了。

在住院期间，除打针吃药外，不能吃饭，不能吃油类的任何食物，只能吃开水煮清面，不能放盐这样吃…。

但不得不说，住院治疗有一种特殊的药丸，每天早晚要服用一颗，好像细小的糖果，挺甜的，病房里还有一个比我还小住院的女孩子，每天吃完还想吃，哈哈哈!

大约十天我就痊愈出院了，我想以后我可得特别注意饮食习惯，不乱吃垃圾食品，注意卫生。再也不能患这种病，至今想起都害怕…!这就是我一生中最难忘的一件事。
