除夕夜一家都围在一起吃年夜饭，是非常幸福的时刻，全家都会守岁通宵达旦。与汉族不同的是，朝鲜族大年夜这顿饭会载歌载舞，伴着朝鲜族古老的伽耶琴和筒箫乐曲迎接新年的到来。

Several days before the new year， people begin to prepare。 Farmers kill pigs， sheep， cocks and hens。 City dwellers buy meat fish and vegetables。  Houses are cleaned； coupletsare posted on the doors。 Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate。

On the eve of the new year， each family has its members gatherd together and eats a family reunion dinner。 After the meal they watch TV until the clock strickes twelve。 Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fire works to wele the new year。 On the first day of the new year， almost everyone is dressed in his or her best。 When people meet on the way， they say to each other "Happy New Year"。 Friends and relatives pay new year calls and gives presents to each other。 Children indulge themselves in games。

“噼里啪啦，噼里啪啦”在一阵阵爆竹声中，我们迎来了2018年。

在我们这儿过年是要包饺子、吃饺子的，这不我们一家都来到了椒江的姑姑家，他们早已准备好了饺子的皮和肉馅，就等着我们一起来——包饺子喽!

“嘎吱——”汽车停了，我们到姑姑家了。我和弟弟飞一般的下了车，又飞快地洗了手，准备和大家一起包饺子。

姑姑把饺子皮和馅拿了上来，我迫不及待的拿了一张皮往皮里面挑了点馅，再把饺子皮对折，把外面一圈捏一下，大功告成!我满意地看着自己的作品，可是手不小心一松，馅就从里面掉了出来，看来皮捏的不紧，我又仔细的捏了几下，感觉可以了，才把饺子放到大盘子里。可是和大人们包的一对比，感觉我包的饺子很“瘦”。于是，我又拿了一张皮，往里面放了许多馅，再包起来，没想到一包，馅就漏了出来，姑姑看到了，对我说：“你还不熟练，先放少一点，熟练了再加多些。”又教我该怎么包。

在姑姑的指导下，我很快包了几个像模像样的饺子，看着自己包的饺子，心里乐开了花。

饺子烧好了，出锅了，散发着一阵阵香味，姑姑把酱油、醋和饺子端上了桌，然后，一家人其乐融融地吃起了饺子。

一份的耕耘就会有一份的收获，我坚信着这句话，每一个人的成功都是来之不易的。

星期天我们全家人一起去了公园无意间我发现却有卖郁金香的种子，于是我买了一些郁金香的种子，准备回家去种。

我从公园回到了家中，从床底下找了一个小时候和伙伴们来玩土的铲子把袋子里的土一点一点掺到花盆里去又把郁金香的种子给埋到土里把种子给埋好了。我闻着我的手有一股很重了泥腥味。虽然有着泥腥味，但还是要坚持种花，然后又要换好好的喝饱一壶水终于完成了今天的养花工作。以后每天早晨醒来要做的第一件事就是为花浇水并且浇水之后还要来回巡视观察它的生长过程每天做的都是如此。有事浇水还会把水想到外面带进我的努力研究但最终终于不往外洒水了我不许我还在想象花以后到底是什么样子，想着想着别提有多高兴了!

终于经过我不懈的努力，为了我的花儿长大，茁壮的来成长我还会晚上观察郁金香大约过了十多天吧。真是功夫不负有心人!在我的精心照料下虽然身心很累但我的不断付出终于到郁金香开出的花朵甚至比公园开的还美。欢乐像洋溢在我点的脸上。想想真是来之不易的成功啊!这件事情也让我一生难忘!

The Spring Festival, also know as the lunar New Year, is the greatest traditional festival. It is usually a time between late January or early February, which means rest and relaxation between winter and spring after a years toil, and means celebration as well. Before the Spring Festival, people clean their house, put red coupletson their gates, and set off firecrackers, according to fairy tale, for driving a demon, named Nian away.

On the eve of the Spring Festival, a get-together banquet is a must, and the most popular food is Dumpling, which is supposed to bring good fortune. On the first day of the new year, everybody wears new clothes and greets relatives and friends with bows and congratulations wishing each other lucky during the new year.

家乡的春节总是难忘的，千丝万缕的家乡情结。

春节放假，我和爸爸妈妈又回到老家过年了。

学校还没有放假，我的心就早已飞到了老家了。出发的头一天晚上，我兴奋得睡不着觉。在火车上我却睡着了。一觉醒来，车已经到站了。

我们先回到爸爸的“老窝子”，也就是爷爷家里。刚有进屋，我就抓起火钳在火塘里玩起火来。我最喜欢在火塘里面玩火。因为我们家里用的是天然气炉灶，而爷爷家里就是这个火塘，需要往里面不断地添柴禾。我最喜欢往火塘里面加柴禾了。

我和小伙伴们一块儿玩吹气球也挺有趣的。我们憋足一口气，对着气球使劲吹。不一会儿，就吹出了许许多多花花绿绿，大小不一的气球，然后我们把气球屁股朝天一松手，气球就会发出“吱吱--”的声音，在空中打转，气放完了，就掉落到地上。我们还把许多的气球扎成几串，挂在墙上或者天花板上，增添了节日的气氛。

最让我高兴的事情是大年三十晚上放烟花。我们把烟花杆安放在石头旁边，用打火机点燃引线后就立即跑开。过了几秒钟，一颗颗小小的发亮的小圆球，从里面喷射出来，抛向夜空，就像一颗颗信号弹，又像是一颗颗流星。当那个小圆球在空中突然爆炸的时候，抛出很多亮点儿，把夜空打扮得五彩缤纷。

初一那天，我们又到妈妈的“老窝子”也就是外婆家。那里有更多好玩的东西。

首先，到家的时候，我就和原来的那只大黑猫玩。我拿着装满水的玩具水枪跟它搞恶作剧。我趁它专心吃饭时，把水枪对准它的鼻子开了一枪，喷了它一脸的水。它连忙使劲摇头，抖掉鼻子上的水，猛叫一声，“喵!”还伸出爪子来抓我，吓得我撒腿就跑。

在外婆家对面的山坡上，我和小伙伴们准备在那里修建一座小房子。我们用镰刀砍一些木头，再准备一些石块，石板和一些葛藤。准备好材料后，我们就开始修房子了。首先打四根木桩作为柱子。然后用石板围着四周砌一道高墙作为房子的墙壁，只在南面留一个门。接着，用几小段葛藤纵横绑在房顶上，再把许多柏树枝盖在房顶的空隙处，这个就是天花板。最后用石板铺地，在屋子中间砌一个火塘。房子就算修好了。我们的这个房子漂亮，现代又时尚。我为我们的杰作而感到骄傲。我自己也好象成为了一名工程师了。

春节期间，我还和小伙伴们打乒乓球，玩跷跷板，还跟着爷爷到东山上去寻找木兰花，很有意思。

这是我记忆中最难忘的春节。

Hello ！welcome to the special Chinese new years edition of discovering China. Im Alina Li and Im Ben Hedges, and today well be taking you through some of the most important traditions of Chinese new year and historical background. We will look at some of the legends behind Chinese new year and how to celebrate it. Here in the US and Chinese across the world.

The Chinese have specific way to celebrate their new year. If you walk down the street in Chinatown during Chinese New Year, you see a variety of ancient traditions such as red banners, firecrackers and lion dance performances, streets are filled with lively celebration.

However, legend has said that the new year has not always been a time of festivity. An Asian Chinese story told a chilly start to this festive holiday, it begins with an ancient Chinese beast called Nian.

Every New Year Nian would rise from swelling in the sea to ravage Chinese village in livestock and hurting people. The villages soon found out from a wise gray-haired old man that the only way to scare the beast away was to set off firecrackers and light lamps and to hang red banners on each door. As the story goes, this was the beginning of a tradition that would last thousands of years.

So this story leads to the creation of many of other traditions for celebrating Chinese New Year. lets take a look at some of these traditions.

【工厂里的“年味”】

我出生在一个团结、和睦、充满正能量的大家庭。从我记事起，每年春节大家欢聚一堂，共同辞旧岁、迎新春是全家人最享受的一段时光、最难割舍的亲情记忆。其中，__年的春节最为难忘，我们全家人齐聚在三叔高祖浩经营的工厂，参与、见证三叔和工人们不计报酬、无论得失的火速“跨界驰援”，一同感知家国同心、携手“过关”的中国年。

__年1月24日，除夕之夜，一向爱热闹的三叔一直在紧皱着眉头打电话，家里的氛围就像电视里滚动播出的新冠肺炎疫情信息一样令人焦虑不安。第二天是农历大年初一，三叔宣布了他的决定：工厂要运转起来做医用隔离衣，并无偿捐赠给疫情防控最需要的地方。

乍听消息，我们全家人都很惊讶。三叔经营的服装公司主要生产童装，虽然也为国外客户代工过医用隔离衣，但没有国内医用隔离衣的生产资质。加之工厂的工人大多在休年假，想要快速做到满负荷运转，实现“跨界驰援”谈何容易。短暂的沉寂之后，全家人决定跟着三叔一起“过难关”。“看着拿命去救人的医生急缺医用隔离衣，我又能生产，真是在家一刻也待不住，一家人一条心，咱家都是好样的。”三叔激动地说。

来到工厂，我们全家人分头忙碌起来，连续多天吃住在厂房里。三叔压力最大，既要联系紧缺的原材料，还要与国外客户协商订单延迟问题，一连多天，每天只睡两三个小时;堂哥、堂嫂则将主要精力投入到工厂的日常管理，负责联系在平度市过年的设计师和工人，每天要打上百个电话;我的爸爸、妈妈及婶子们四处奔走购置消毒液、口罩等开工必备的防疫物资;而我更是被委以重任，负责对接生产证照的办理及受捐助医疗机构的需求。当听到多家湖北省的医院急需医用隔离衣的消息，当看到平度市行政审批服务局开通“绿色通道”，不到一天就办好了原本需要一周才能完成的第一类医疗器械生产备案，我深切感受到了大家的期待与支持，体会到小家与国家、个人与城市的同频共振、命运与共。

经过10多天的努力，“跨界驰援”变成了可能。__年2月9日，三叔将第一批下线的600件医用隔离衣无偿捐给__市的战“疫”一线。此后一个多月，三叔先后将15000余套医用隔离衣和近6000双防护鞋套无偿捐赠给湖北省、四川省、重庆市等地的医疗机构，捐赠的防疫物资估算价值近300万元。在每一笔捐赠物资上，我们全家人都会轮流写上相同的话语，“都是捐赠的，不用还”，每每写这几个字，我们都为三叔的决定而骄傲，更为全家人别样的“新春团聚”而自豪。

三叔的事迹经过朋友、工人们口口相传，引发了媒体的广泛关注，__年2月23日，中央广播电视总台《焦点访谈》播出了三叔的故事，我们得到了更多人的支持和鼓励。而每次有领导走访或媒体来访，问起有什么困难，三叔都斩钉截铁地说：“我们很好，没有困难。”一直到__年6月，工厂开始慢慢恢复正常业务时我们才知道，三叔当初为了尽快生产出医用隔离衣，不仅高价购入了原材料，还推掉了300多万美元的国外订单。“做事做人都得知恩图报，国家的好政策让我们把企业做大做强，国家有困难，我们报恩哪能谈条件。”三叔总是这么说。

__年的国庆节恰逢中秋节，我们全家人回到工厂，挂上过年才有的红灯笼、中国结和福字，简直比过年还热闹。轮到三叔敬酒时，他的一句话让我印象深刻：“国家好了，什么时候都是春节，一家人团结一心，什么时候都有过年般的幸福。”

是呀，只要家国安好，每时每地都能过上团圆、美满的中国年。
